7th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)I would not recommend entering into any arrangement with this agency without extreme caution! It will also be worth checking the numerous negative reviews here! Based on my personal experience, I encountered ongoing issues with communication, contractual handling and payment-related matters. Certain concerns, including payments and entitlements, remained unresolved despite being formally raised and supported with screenshot, and no meaningful response was provided! For landlords, it is important to clearly establish in advance how the property will be marketed, how pricing will be structured, and whether any all-inclusive (bills included) arrangements may be applied, as these factors can significantly affect outcomes. Overall, anyone (tenants, landlords and employees) considering working with this agency should be prepared for potential complications! 5th Jun 2026 (16 days ago)?I am writing this to warn other renters about how Carousel Estate Agents treated me. ?In November 2025, they gave me a S21 notice and told me in writing that I had to leave because the landlords were selling the property (2nd occurance in a 2 year tenancy). I believed them, went through the massive stress of moving out right before Christmas after spinal surgery in July too. ?I have just checked the property websites and found out they lied. They put the flat up for sale for just a few weeks, took it down, and have now put it straight back up for rent at a much higher price—the exact higher price I had previously turned down. They used a fake "sale" just to kick me out and get more rent. ?On top of that, they took money out of my deposit by telling the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) that they had to pay to replace my curtains and remove a bathroom shelf and mirror. But in their new online rental pictures, my exact curtains, shelf, and mirror are still there. They are using my things to advertise the flat, meaning they charged me for work they never actually did. ?I have officially reported Carousel to The Property Ombudsman, Gateshead Trading Standards, and Action Fraud. ?If Carousel has done this to you—either by giving you a fake "selling" eviction or taking money from your deposit for repairs they didn't do—please contact Gateshead Trading Standards or Citizens Advice right away so we can stop them doing it to others.

She was helpful throughout the whole process and very patient when we ran into a few hiccups with the house. Ellie always offered great advice and support, helping us get everything sorted. We can’t thank her enough for all her help and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive agent.
15th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Booked a viewing on the Friday for, Saturday the next day. I rang the office 4 times with no response and nobody turned up for the viewing, so I travelled and paid for parking for no reason.

14th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had a positive experience with the agency throughout my tenancy. Gail and Ryan were professional, helpful, and easy to communicate with. They carried out inspections efficiently, made it easy regarding the dates and times of inspections and kept me informed clearly throughout the process. Any queries were handled promptly, and the whole tenancy and move-out process was smooth. I’d happily recommend them.

I cannot praise them enough - very professional, very reliable and so efficient! Particular thanks to Ms. Daisy Spry who has arranged and managed several tenancy issues, as well as repairs and redecorations (also Debbie and Kirstey in the past) . From getting our house on the market to helping us through the buying process, they’ve always been helpful, friendly, and easy to get hold of. Communication has been great throughout, and we’ve always felt kept up to date with what’s going on. Any questions we’ve had have been answered quickly, and nothing has ever seemed like too much trouble. A huge thank you to everyone, highly recommend!
