The valuation team I would say operated with double standards and had a conflict of interest which went against us as the vendor. In short why tell us a price we could get. A price if we wanted to sell quickly and then when asked again by a builder that we asked to do a part exchange with. You tell them a quick sale price of nearly £80k less than you told us. Very odd. One could be forgiven for thinking that it was intentional in order to not loose us and our sale commission value. Cynical? Maybe. But instinct and intelligence tells me otherwise.

12th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)AVOID THIS AGENT. My daughter has just won a case at Nottingham Crown Court in connection with rats in her rented house. She has a 2 year old and the Agent/Landlord/Management company all confirmed in writing it was the tenants responsibility. She paid £204 for an urgent pest controller. Within days we Goggled and found the Landlord/tenant Act 1985, it is actually the landlords responsibility to pay and resolve the matter. This incident was back in July 25, today she won a Crown court judgement and the Landlord ordered to pay her the full fees plus costs. WHY didn’t the Agent/Management company know the Law in relation to this matter in the first place. The stress this has caused to my daughter was immense. If I could award no stars I would. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

6th Mar 2026 (19 days ago)Jack and Amber at Burchells went above and beyond their role to ensure we had a smooth and stress free renewal of tenant at our rental property in Ilkeston. They continually updated us at all times and were extremely understanding and sympathetic of our requirements, down to fine details. Something as simple as leaving a specific light on after viewings, as we'd requested. We would not hesitate to recommend them , the follow up care is equally as attentive, they are always available to assist in any issues. They certainly don't take your business and run. Very professional at all times. Thank you for all you've done.

She kept us well informed and went out of her way to make sure everything moved forward smoothly. Unfortunately, communication with some other members of the team was less consistent and it could sometimes be difficult to get updates, but Carol’s support and professionalism made a real difference and ensured everything was ultimately resolved.

Matt, Sarah, Harry and Donna were all professional and friendly. Matt saw the house to value it and explained how it should be priced to get maximum interest. He was right as we ended up with more than the asking price. The team managed all our viewings which saved us time and travelling. Communication was very good by Email and kept us informed every step of the way. I would highly recommend Keyworth branch of Royston and Lund for anyone needing to sell their house.

24th Feb 2026 (29 days ago)Awful estates agents. Emails get ignored, when repairs need doing. Only wanting to take the rent each month. Left me with a damp moldy ceiling for over a year. Was without heating in sub 0 temperatures. Avoid at all costs. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. When we lost 2 family members in 4 week Patrick said life goes on! He's a complete waste of space.
