From the very first viewing to signing the contract, the entire renting process was smooth, efficient, and stress-free. What really stood out to me was the speed and organisation everything moved forward without unnecessary delays, which made a huge difference. A special thank you to Buster, my assigned agent, who was absolutely fantastic throughout, I will give him 50 stars if that will be possible. This is how agents should work, a very nice and kind man still professional. He was responsive, helpful, and made sure I was informed every step of the way. His professionalism and friendly approach made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend William H Brown to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient letting service. Their team truly goes above and beyond to make the process seamless. Thank you again for such a great experience!

I was due to have a valuation today with Abbotts Watton however over the weekend was approached by another local estate agent who also got us viewings lined up for over the next few days. My partner called to let them know that we appreciate their time but will not be signing with them. The lady on the phone was very blunt and after hearing this news did not even say bye and just hung up the phone. Unfortunate as we received such good customer service up until this point.

22nd Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)I phoned Brown & co today in Norwich regarding a property to ask whether or not it was still for sale. I was not met with a friendly voice appreciating my interest in the property but was just told the owner was considering the best offer of sealed bids. I was then put through to another lady who greeted me with an abrupt tone of voice, I asked if she could take my name as I am looking for a similar property, she took my name and said I will let you know if something similar becomes available. Firstly she didn't give me time to finish telling her my full number and it seemed quite apparent she did not value me as a potential customer and made no enquiries about the area I'm looking to move to. It seems Brown & co have their favoured clientele and I'm certainly not one of them. I am in business myself and I value my customers it's a shame Brown & co doesn't do the same. Their dedication to seeing everything through to completion was clear, and they consistently went above and beyond to keep me informed and reassured. Communication was always prompt, clear, and helpful, which made what can often be a stressful time feel much more manageable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this team to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive estate agent.

2nd Apr 2026 (15 days ago)Me and my partner started our process back in November and it was a very long process but I couldn’t fault the team at Hammond and Stratford they were always on the case keeping an eye out for any updates and always reassuring everything was going as expected thanks to all the team at Hammond and Stratford in attleborough for making this process as easy as it could be and always answering our questions amazing. The team are all so welcoming and so helpful ?????? thank you Beth and Charli for putting up with us and always letting us see the property when we asked

Although my purchase has fallen through due to unexpected works needed at the property, I felt supported throughout.

Sammi was a confident, calm and brilliant person to have in our corner - always one step ahead and on top of negotiations so we never had to chase. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Of the three agents that I initially considered, Alex Parish demonstrated the greatest local knowledge and the best understanding of my requirements. I have no regrets about my decision to commission them. Throughout the whole process, from the initial planning session to the completion of my sale, Alex and his colleagues were professional, reliable and always did whatever we had agreed. Their communications were clear and they were responsive to all of my questions or concerns. They were supportive to me personally and showed a good understanding of all aspects of the sales process as well its legalities and practicalities. I recommend Whitley Parish without any reservations.
