While we didn’t end up purchasing from them, they were excellent during our viewing process and were extremely communicative and prompt. Alan even went out of his way while he was on holiday to organise a viewing for us and to answer any questions we may have had. We’re super grateful for that. His relationship with his sellers is more like good friends than clients and it shows that he really cares for the person on the other side. We highly recommend him and his team and hope to work with him again in the future.

11th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Fake review by Andrew N as Companies House shows Kubie Gold Associates Limited was incorporated on 2 June 2010, so they've been operating as a registered company for around 15 years, they can't be managing his property for 28 years! I have rented a flat in a building managed by Kubie Gold for some years, and this has been my worst experience with any property management company. The problems are consistent and ongoing: repairs are handled slowly, often left incomplete, and require repeated chasing. Communal areas are cleaned infrequently, if at all. When complaints are raised — including through my landlord, who confirms they contact Kubie Gold directly — nothing changes. There is no follow-up, no accountability, and no visible improvement. If you are a resident experiencing similar issues, be aware that Kubie Gold is registered with The Property Ombudsman. If your complaint is not resolved within eight weeks of being formally raised, you have the right to escalate it directly to the Ombudsman, who can require the company to take action and award compensation. Do not let complaints be ignored indefinitely — there is a formal process and you are entitled to use it. I would urge anyone considering a property managed by Kubie Gold to ask detailed questions about how repairs are tracked, how complaints are resolved, and what the communal maintenance schedule looks like — and to get answers in writing.

I also met Guy towards the end who was super nice as well and friendly.

15th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)By far the worst agency I have ever rented from. Was left with a leaking ceiling in my bedroom for several months with minor support from the carter and reeves and they continuously choose to ghost us instead of dealing with issues. When they did book repairs in we would usually have less than 12 hours notice, and received significant attitude and rude comments if we weren’t available with less than 12 hours notice. The only way they would fix things is if we threatened to get external support or not pay rent. I suggest staying very far away as renting from them will severely impact your mental health. Michael especially was inaccessible and barely answered when we reached out. I suggest not renting from them if you want to maintain your sanity.

Throughout that time, they have been exceptional in managing my property and have consistently exceeded my expectations. They have always done an outstanding job of maximising the return on my investment, regularly securing top-end rental offers. On one occasion, when we experienced a leak from a neighbouring property, they went above and beyond to ensure that every penny we were entitled to was recovered through the insurance process. Just as importantly, they take great care in looking after the property itself. They ensure tenants treat it well, stay on top of maintenance issues, and deal with repairs promptly and professionally. Whenever problems arise, they are proactive in finding practical, cost-effective solutions rather than simply opting for the most expensive route. What I value most, however, is their honesty and integrity. Over more than ten years working together, they have never tried to push unnecessary work or expenses. Instead, they consistently provide balanced, sensible advice and look for the most effective solution. The level of trust they've earned means I can genuinely leave things in their hands without worrying. They also never shy away from hard work. Whether dealing with difficult situations, unexpected issues, or the countless details involved in property management, they tackle everything with professionalism and determination. A special mention must go to Miriam, who has been my primary point of contact for at least the last five years. She is an absolute credit to Martin & Co. — always on top of things, incredibly responsive, proactive, and a pleasure to deal with. No matter the issue, I know it will be handled quickly and thoroughly, and her communication is consistently excellent. She is also a genuinely wonderful human being (and the reason i am writing this review!) After more than a decade as a client, I can say without hesitation that Martin & Co. have made being a landlord significantly easier and less stressful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional, and highly effective property management team.

From start to finish, he was incredibly dedicated, proactive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything progressed as smoothly as possible.<br>What really set Gaurav apart was how far he was willing to go beyond the normal responsibilities of an estate agent. Gaurav was not even our estate agent he was the agent from whom we were buying off and actually supported us and did more for us than our own estate agents (who were useless). Throughout what was at times a complicated chain, he regularly took the initiative to contact solicitors and other parties involved to keep things moving and ensure everyone was aligned. Rather than simply waiting for updates, he actively chased information, followed up on outstanding issues, and kept us informed every step of the way. His persistence and determination undoubtedly helped prevent delays and kept momentum going when things could easily have stalled.<br>Gaurav was also exceptionally thorough. No detail was ever overlooked, and he always took the time to explain things clearly, answer our questions, and make sure we understood exactly where things stood. We never felt like just another client; he treated our move as though it were his own and genuinely cared about achieving the best possible outcome for us.<br>What could have been a very stressful process felt far more manageable because we knew Gaurav was on top of everything. His professionalism, attention to detail, communication, and willingness to go the extra mile gave us complete confidence throughout. It's rare to find someone who combines such expertise with such a personal and caring approach.<br>We would wholeheartedly recommend Gaurav to anyone buying or selling a property. 29th May 2026 (21 days ago)One of the worst letting agencies I’ve dealt with in London. Extremely unprofessional, very unresponsive, and careless when it comes to handling tenant issues. Communication is poor and getting anything resolved takes forever. I would not recommend anyone to rent through Jhons in London. There are far better agencies out there that actually care about their tenants.
