19th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)I think Ashton are more aimed at selling houses than flats/apartments. They contacted me once, right near the end of the contract. I had to call them to find out feedback and if viewings took place. This was a little disappointing.
2nd Jun 2026 (17 days ago)We bought a house in Leyton with Allen and Davies. Our main point of contact was Vivien - she was amazing. It is very rare to come across kind, helpful and good at their job estate agents(!) - but she was very much this. She made the process so much easier from start to finish and we felt in safe hands. She was really good at communicating and keeping us abreast of developments. Honest, fair and reliable. We worked a bit with Tony too and he was great. Overall we highly recommend Allen and Davies - they were transparent, helpful, and the best estate agent we have worked with to date.

19th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)Everytime I enquire about a property for sell this agent is advertising. The first question they ask is 'Do you have a property for sell'. They take all your personal details and at the end don't give a date for viewing. This happened on several occasions, I have now stopped enquiring. I believe this is a fishing tactic to get peoples information and if they can find a person who is looking to sell. I would not ever buy or sell a property through them.

I'm a 100% satisfied customer, and have no hesitation in recommending others to use them for buying/selling and management.

14th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Warning: Serious Misconduct and Potential Fraud I agreed a sale price with Amaal Mahmood Khan at Brian Thomas Estate Agents. During the process, he insisted on altering the agreed price on the official paperwork to a lower figure and taking the difference in cash. This would have cheated the property owner and is essentially mortgage/property fraud. Anyone considering instructing him to sell their property should be extremely cautious. Amaal tries to negotiate cash payments with buyer and does not tell seller real offer. In my case he lied to the seller about the amount i offered and if i had gone ahead the seller would have lost out on thousands of pounds that Amaal was demanding to receive in cash off the books. I strongly advise to avoid this agency and this dishonest man.
12th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Service was amazing, highly recommend these estate agents. Mike Driver, the branch manager, was great from start to finish. We appreciated his honesty, transparency, and his willingness to go above and beyond. He helped us chase the vendor's solicitors and was responsive over the phone. The staff were also very helpful and lovely, taking great notes and collaborating with each other well. I highly recommend, and will look to contact them again if we are in the market again. P.s. this was a review I gave in July 2021, but didnt get published!!

27th Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)I only have good things to say about Charlsons. We had a long sell which involved finding 3 different buyers - no fault of Charlsons or us! Each time we knew Charlsons had our best interests at heart. They acted with professionalism and good humour throughout. It was a good day for all when we completed. I heartily recommend their services.

I want to give a special thank you to Carol Wade (Office Manager) who was amazing she guided me through the whole process, including all the references, and was so patient and supportive throughout. Geoff Burgess showed me the flat and he was very friendly and helpful. When i went to the office, I met Jemma Buisson who was also lovely and made everything smooth. Overall, the team were professional, kind, and made the process much less stressful. I would definitely recommend them.

Particularly Dee who was always on the ball, happy to liaise with solicitors, buyers and us and keep everyone informed. There were hiccups along the way, though Dee put us at ease and was very knowledgeable, calm, positive, professional and methodical in his approach. He was always available to answer any queries we had. Thank you Dee, its been a pleasure dealing with you due to your professionalism and high standards of service provided. 25th Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)I rented through Home Connect and had a very disappointing experience. I paid a £3000 deposit but only received £500 back after leaving, with no clear explanation. I would not recommend.

9th Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)I am disgusted by the way [Cranbrook letting Ltd] treats people. We viewed a property and were explicitly told by the agent that the house was ours and we could proceed with the rental. We started making plans and stopped looking at other places based on their word. ?However, shortly after, they went behind our backs and gave the house to someone else without a word of explanation. This level of dishonesty is appalling. ?To make matters worse, the stress and disappointment caused by this agency's lies literally made my mother sick. We spent time, energy, and hope on this, only to be treated like we didn't matter. They are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and have zero compassion for the families they deal with. If you want an agency that keeps its promises, look elsewhere."

From the initial valuation right through to completion, the entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and completely dedicated to getting the best result. What impressed me most was their communication. I was kept updated every step of the way, and they proactively managed the legal chain to ensure everything stayed on track and stress-free. If you are looking to sell your property in the area, do not hesitate to use them—they are exceptional!

What should have been a straightforward transaction became a complicated chain with numerous delays, but Waqas stayed on top of everything from start to finish. He was always available, always chasing updates and always looking for solutions. There were times where we were probably his most demanding buyers, but he remained patient and professional throughout. Thanks to his efforts, we have now completed on what will be our forever family home. Highly recommended and genuinely one of the hardest-working estate agents we’ve dealt with.
3rd Jun 2026 (16 days ago)When it came to selling our home and finding our next one, Sadek promised he would get the job done, and he delivered on both! Writing this review from my new home with a cuppa! We decided not to go with one of the large national estate agents and instead chose Just Moovin because we wanted someone who would genuinely care about our situation and the journey my family and I were going through, rather than just being a target or KPI. Looking back, it was definitely the right decision. Our chain was long and complicated, with numerous issues further up the chain causing delays, but throughout the whole process Sadek was brilliant. He kept us updated regularly, chased where needed, and was always communicating with solicitors, other agents and anyone else involved to keep things moving. It genuinely felt like he left no stone unturned. Buying and selling a home can be stressful, but having someone proactive, honest and committed made a huge difference. I can't thank Sadek enough for all his hard work and would highly recommend him and Just Moovin to anyone looking to move.
