7th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)I had the pleasure of dealing with Jon, Lee and Caitlin. All of who were fantastic, Jon in particular updated me pretty much every day whilst we tried to navigate a tricky purchase. Unfortunately due to the seller wasting time we wasn’t able to purchase it however Jon and his team did everything right and everything they could their side. Just came down to a waste of time seller. Would highly recommend satchells to anyone though!

The process wasn't easy (a lot of bumps in the road) but Rosie was proactive and reassuring and we got there in the end! The house was well marketed and we had a buyer very quickly. Communication was good, so that any problems were quickly dealt with. Altogether a much smoother process than I was expecting.

From keeping me up to date with what is going on with the sale, solicitors to answering any and all questions I have had. Teresa who we dealt with mainly was lovely and very friendly, so helpful and quick to make any repairs and any issues needed within the property. Also got our deposit back within 2/3 weeks of handing back our keys. Happy with the service and outcome of our time we had in one of their rentals.

Our move from Dundee in Scotland to Biggleswade, could have been a lot more stressful had it not been for this lovely, friendly, approachable team who were always happy to go above and beyond in arranging several visits, often at quite short notice, for us to view some houses on our short visits down from Scotland. They were always extremely professional and caring with a pro-active approach, learning our needs and desires of what we wanted from our new home. With an incredibly deep knowledge of the local market, they soon identified a house that suited our needs., exactly. We moved in 2 weeks ago and we are absolutely delighted. 11th Aug 2026 (2 days ago)Estate agents sometimes get a bad press, but Ashtons in Hitchin have been just brilliant handling the recent sale of our house. They proposed a sensible pricing strategy which generated plenty of interest, arranged photography which showed the property to its best advantage and then efficiently handled the many enquiries and viewings. Once it was under offer (after only a couple of weeks), the team navigated us through to a speedy completion with professionalism and good humour. Couldn't be happier with their service, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

18th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)We arrived to this house purchase jaded by our experiences of trying to buy and sell over the previous year. Wellington Evans were the agent of the house we were buying and treated us with honesty, transparency and respect throughout the entire process. It was a breath of fresh air when compared to our experiences of more ‘traditional’ agents. Each step of the process was explained to us and we were supported right through to completion day itself. I cannot imagine how much smoother the process would have been if we had sold and bought from Wellington Evans initially. But, we are in and settled and wish to express our thanks to James and his team for their efforts throughout.
