9th Oct 2026 (24 days ago)I cannot recommend this rental. They show no respect for tenants. Our confirmed move?in date was suddenly delayed. While the house appeared clean on the surface, it was very dirty internally, and they refused to fix pre?move?in defects. Countless emails and phone calls brought no meaningful resolution. Old and broken appliances, poor hygiene, and highly unprofessional customer service.

I had a challenging time with solicitors when buying, but Simon kept me updated throughout, fully understood what I wanted, fought in my corner and was integral to both mine and the seller’s experience.<br><br>He went above and beyond constantly, was so attuned to what was needed and when, and, when needed, wasn’t afraid to push and get things moving. Without him I am not actually sure I would have got through the process at all.<br><br>I am not planning on selling anytime soon, but would recommend Simon and his team (shout out to Michael) as they are the best, fastest, friendliest, easiest, and kindest in the business.

Didn’t have many issues with the property but when we did, the team were responsive and quick to address. The team were always friendly, and the checking in/ out of the property at the start/ end of tenancy was a positive experience. Thank you Alex Crown!
22nd Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Never leave bad google reviews but I feel very let down by Portico as a tenant. It’s taken over 2 months to get our 2.5k deposit back after moving out in August.<br><br>Portico tried to pressure us to use a deposit subscription scheme instead of a normal government protected deposit despite stating several times we didn’t want to. In a highly competitive market, we were told the landlord would favour the former and it may jeopardise our chances of being accepted, even though it would mean we don’t get our money back back.

He is an excellent agent who managed to arrange everything for my flat rental in the shortest possible time. Elia was incredibly helpful throughout the process and was always patient with me despite the many questions I had (as I wanted to make sure everything was handled correctly).<br><br>Elia was always available when I contacted her, consistently polite, reassuring and supportive throughout the journey. 6th Oct 2026 (27 days ago)Hanover has given me absolutely fantastic customer service from beginning to end. If I'm honest, I was not expecting the quality of service I got, because the flat I was selling is a relatively low-value property; I figured the team would save their energy for homes nearer the top end of the market, but they absolutely did not. Initially I got a realistic idea of likely selling price from Charlie, who was both helpful and knowledgeable (he clearly knew my market segment). Senan did the first viewing ... and then I started to worry if I'd made the right decision about my agent because then Richard brought someone round, and then Pierce - where was the consistency, and how would this impact my customer service? Turns out I was completely wrong in my assumptions: all three members of the sales team gave me nothing but excellent support, and they also kept in touch with each other about what progress was being made so service was seamless whoever I spoke to. Once I had an offer, they were brilliant liaising with the buyer; and - critically - they gave me timely and well-placed advice to ensure that I could move things along as quickly as possible at my end when other organisations were causing delays. Not only did I get first-class service but the whole team are as friendly a bunch as you could wish for. I recommend them wholeheartedly (I never thought I would ever say that about an estate agent!) and would choose them again every time.

They got high class staffs who communicates very well, coordinates end to end. The property they show are by far best compared to other agents. One staff assigned to us was Rose Rojda. She has excellent sales and negotiation skills. Very skilled and I guess she is in this field for a while. Good job Rose..
