13th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)I had a fantastic experience renting through Cray and Norton i have been a tenant for the past 3 years and they have been excellent,unlike other agencies,they are increadibly responsive whenever a maintenance issue arises repairs sorted within hours, communication always friendly,its a relief to have a tenant that looks after tenants ,Thanks Archie and all team ,i will recomend Cray and Norton anytime
25th Apr 2026 (7 days ago)We had a poor experience of trying to buy a 3 bedroom terraced house in the South Park Gardens area with Ellisons Wimbledon from September 2025 to January 2026. After completing our first viewing with Amanda in September which was well managed, our second viewing was at 1pm with Mahul. He arrived at least 5 minutes late, then asked us several times to leave the property before 1:15pm with the next viewers standing outside. Whilst I know this is a successful high pressure sales tactic, it is disappointing to experience this when making such an important decision. When our offer was accepted, Ellisons told us to open a bottle of bubbly, celebrate and that the property was taken off the market. A day later Ellisons phoned stating another offer had been received and we should increase our offer. I recognise gazumping is allowed and a decision for the sellers but this seems to be condoned by Ellisons. The communication from Ellisons was very poor during conveyancing where we had to chase for almost everything. On 2 occasions Ellisons stated information from the seller had not been received because they had gone into my solicitor’s virus checker when in fact the information simply had not been sent. Ultimately, because of a serious conveyancing issue which was only revealed to us near the point of exchange we were forced to withdraw our offer. I feel Ellisons made the purchasing process extremely difficult and would not recommend them to anyone for buying/selling a property. We’ve had a much more positive experience with other Wimbledon estate agents since.

I would like to especially mention Rachel, the Senior Lease Negotiator, for her excellent work. Rachel proved to be a true professional and guided the rental process from the beginning to the signing of the contract. Her communication was clear, friendly and always timely. Thanks to Rachel, the process of renting an apartment was easy, fast and stress-free. She was always in touch, explaining all the nuances that we did not understand. I recommend Foxton and especially Rachel to everyone who appreciates a professional approach, honesty and a high level of service.
7th Nov 2025 (25 weeks ago)After months of mismanagement, overcharging, and broken promises, KFH have now gone one step further — quietly deducting unauthorised fees after confirming in writing that no further charges would be made. They re-labelled their management fee as a “4% rent collection fee” for November, despite acknowledging their management role had ceased, and added new “Rent & Legal Protection” charges we never agreed to. These deductions were made after we had made clear in writing that no further fees were to be taken. Although earlier management fees were finally refunded, KFH continue to act in bad faith by introducing new, invented costs. Their conduct has been deceptive, contradictory, and utterly unprofessional. We will continue to post updates until all unauthorised charges have been refunded.

Mariam has been so incredible my parents sadly had water leak at residential property I need to find them alternative accommodation Mariam has stayed in touch until she found them the perfect place to rent. She kept me up to date from start to finish making this such a smooth process for my parents at such a difficult time and she is so polite and professional absolute asset to the company and I work for Lloyds banking group so recognition is so important when you have been given attention and service like this I would recommend Mariam and Charles Henry Peppiatt for helping find the ideal place but without Mariam being so efficient this would have not been so easy. I will definitely give her details to anyone I know looking for property.

My latest transaction was the sale of a house on the Southfields “grid” undertaken by Alex at Hamptons in Earlsfield who provided a very smooth, professional, courteous and personable service throughout, finding appropriate buyers, holding together the transaction. Alex was always available and communicative and a credit to Hamptons.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
