8th Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)I used Lloyds to sell. When I terminated the contract due to lack of professional conduct (including changing terms of contract without prior agreement) and poor quality service, the owner of the business Patrick French would not leave me alone even 8 months after I terminated the contract. Contacting me unnecessarily to ask who had bought the properties in question despite it having nothing to do with him, helpfully pointing out that he could check land registry to find out who bought from me, threatening to take legal action for defamation if I chose to take my formal complaint to the ombudsman. I wish I'd never met this man - he has caused me no end of stress and caused major delays to me moving house and moving on with my life. Seems very amenable when you do what he wants but as soon as I stopped doing what he wanted, he wouldn't leave you alone. Luckily I found estate agents who did the job properly but only after suffering through what this man put me through for nearly a year.
17th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Have dealt with Look for 30 plus years, as letting agents for an HMO & in all honesty, never had a bad experience. No none payt. & very pleasant tenants. The recent house sale went very smoothly & the consideration with which Look dealt with the tenants was reflected in their being obliging during a process that had no advantage to them.

2nd Jun 2026 (20 days ago)We bought a house in Leyton with Allen and Davies. Our main point of contact was Vivien - she was amazing. It is very rare to come across kind, helpful and good at their job estate agents(!) - but she was very much this. She made the process so much easier from start to finish and we felt in safe hands. She was really good at communicating and keeping us abreast of developments. Honest, fair and reliable. We worked a bit with Tony too and he was great. Overall we highly recommend Allen and Davies - they were transparent, helpful, and the best estate agent we have worked with to date.

14th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Warning: Serious Misconduct and Potential Fraud I agreed a sale price with Amaal Mahmood Khan at Brian Thomas Estate Agents. During the process, he insisted on altering the agreed price on the official paperwork to a lower figure and taking the difference in cash. This would have cheated the property owner and is essentially mortgage/property fraud. Anyone considering instructing him to sell their property should be extremely cautious. Amaal tries to negotiate cash payments with buyer and does not tell seller real offer. In my case he lied to the seller about the amount i offered and if i had gone ahead the seller would have lost out on thousands of pounds that Amaal was demanding to receive in cash off the books. I strongly advise to avoid this agency and this dishonest man.

12th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Service was amazing, highly recommend these estate agents. Mike Driver, the branch manager, was great from start to finish. We appreciated his honesty, transparency, and his willingness to go above and beyond. He helped us chase the vendor's solicitors and was responsive over the phone. The staff were also very helpful and lovely, taking great notes and collaborating with each other well. I highly recommend, and will look to contact them again if we are in the market again. P.s. this was a review I gave in July 2021, but didnt get published!!

24th Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)I dealt with several of the team at Neil King and found them all extremely professional, patient and full of good advice throughout the year-long process of listing my property, relisting it after various offers fell through, showing dozens of viewers around and dealing with a lot of back-and-forth between me, my eventual buyer and our solicitors. In the end my property went for exactly what Neil thought it was worth. So if you're looking for an agency who actually know the most up-to-date market conditions specific to South Woodford, this is the right one. I can't praise them highly enough.

9th Feb 2026 (19 weeks ago)Although my early encounters with City Move Estate and their staff were polite and pleasant, they ended up evicting me from my apartment without issuing the appropriate documents at the beginning of my tenancy. In addition, the hot showers in my apartment were unreliable for over a year despite multiple requests to get them fixed- when, after more than a year had passed, the shower was finally fixed up, the eviction notice came soon after. After the improper eviction they then charged me an extortionate cleaning fee. Would not recommend.
16th Jun 2026 (6 days ago)Absolutely ridiculous mate they said they’ll pay us back our deposit if they cancel our application but emailed saying they wouldnt give our depo back dont bother paying them scamming company. When you pay holding deposit they said theyll take it off the market and stop other enquires but its funny because once i paid depo they never took it off the market and my friend sent a fake enquiry to see if they reply to her, not only did they reply to her, they also wanted her to send a depo.
