5th Apr 2026 (30 days ago)This company does not refund your refundable deposit and charge you in fees when doing a reference check. I suspect they did not even do a credit check and just bank every applicants deposit knowing full well there is no properties for rent. I suspect this is a scam and I had to make multiple calls and even promises to drop by their office. I would advise you all to have caution when dealing with this company.

24th Jun 2025 (10 mo. ago)"Unprofessional and Costly – Misguided Sellers and Left Buyers Out of Pocket" Review: Terrible experience. After months of progressing toward exchange, the estate agent allowed the sellers to pull out at the very last minute, leaving us with thousands of pounds in losses on legal fees, surveys, and wasted time. Throughout the process, the agency showed poor communication, misleading updates, and a total lack of responsibility in managing the sale properly. Either they couldn’t control the process, or they didn’t care enough to do so. A word of warning to potential sellers—if you’re considering using this agent, be very cautious. Based on our experience, they gave the sellers poor advice, encouraged unprofessional behaviour, and jeopardised the entire transaction. If you want serious buyers to trust your sale, choose a professional agent who won’t let it fall apart at the last minute. Would not recommend to anyone—buyers or sellers.

30th Jun 2023 (2 years ago)Cromwells were professional throughout but were affected by a slowing market due to increased interest rates. This meant that they were unable to get the number of anticipated viewings and were unable to sell my house. I took the decision to move agents to try and speed up a sale but Cromwells did get some viewings and their communication was good.

They were helpful, honest, and never pushy, which made the whole process far less stressful than I expected. No pressure tactics, just clear guidance throughout and even support after completion. We chose Kenyons as we wanted a family run estate agent that cared about finding the right person for our property as opposed to just chasing the commission!<br>Last year we decided to sell our 3 bedroom family home as we were down sizing and we did not hesitate in giving the property to Kenyons.
