Helpful, warm and always on hand to help. The sale of our flat went on for a lot longer than expected, due to unforseen circumstances, and this made the process incredibly stressful for my family and the vendor who was selling us his house. It was one of the most stressful experiences of our lives and without the support of Lauren, from the progressing team, I do not know how we would have got through it. I cannot praise Lauren enough, she singled handedly kept the chain together for over a year. Kind, caring and avaliable on evenings and weekends when I needed her. She always knew what to say to make me feel better, even on the worst days. Robinson Jackson are very lucky to have her (she deserves a bonus!). Thank you to Sam too for always being lovely and supportive too.
5th May 2024 (12 weeks ago)Capital Estate Agents Bromley are undoubtedly the best estate agents we've ever worked with. While we were in South Africa, my wife and I had everything sorted—work contracts, visas, finances—everything a landlord could hope for. However, as soon as estate agents heard we were moving from overseas, they would end the call. Out of 30 people we contacted, only Capital Estate Agents Bromley, specifically Ryan, took the time to speak with us. We recently had a second viewing with Derek, which was handled very professionally. They always dress impeccably and speak well-pronounced English, which is quite rare these days.

Along with a personal thank you to Karen for her knowledge, complete dedication, patience and some weeks agony aunt skills, which quite frankly were invaluable to getting our house sale over the line. The sale wasn't plain sailing (we can blame Liz Truss for that!!!), but - thanks to Hunters - we finally got the deal over the line. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The whole team are very approachable and always go above and beyond to help assist with the process of selling and buying which is one of the most stressful things in life to do, they always make time to email and call even when they are very busy. I would reccomend anyone who is looking to list to use JDM.

5th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)It's been a long sale (10 months) and, particularly near the end, I felt I had to drive it and chase left, right and centre to get things over the line. However, this seems to be pretty standard in my experience, whether buying or selling, as unfortunately no-one seems to call each other - rather they send emails that then take a week or more to respond to... What I can say is that, whenever I called Mann to chase the buyer's solicitors on my (or my solicitor's) behalf, Fletcher and the team were friendly, professional and helpful throughout. I should also add Mann acted as my letting agent for a number of years prior to the sale, and Tim was absolutely brilliant on the lettings side and a pleasure to deal with.
10th May 2024 (11 weeks ago)Alex James and Callum were very kind, helpful, patient yet where necessary and appropriate weren't afraid to be direct and plain with me, and in Alex James's words it was to help me and I don't doubt that at all. He provided useful, helpful tips when I was experiencing feelings of being overwhelmed to be calm and collected yet respectful towards our new and upcoming landlord and general other tips for how any tenant is informed of things. I'm not surprised they've got such positive, spectacular reviews. It's a family owned and run estate agency too but overall have felt greatly supported and helped throughout the referencing and anything else they were to do to help our landlord. I have no problem recommending this estate agency, they seem very well knowledged, experienced, helpful, kind, patient yet also very honest. Thank you to Alex James and Callum you've been an honour to correspond with. Anyone who can be as good with me as they have been is worth this recommendation and honest review. Edit: Point of criticism/feedback: They should make it known more clearly than expecting or asking someone to read the Ts and Cs that they're allowed to pass on your details to utility companies as it was rather stressful to discover when I had attempts from companies to set things up and emails telling me they had, the utility companies that is and I prefer to do things myself. And ask if you want them to pass on your details or not. As when I asked about that they said it's possible. Constructive intended feedback ^

She went above and beyond to accommodate viewings for us as well. Would definitely recommend.

25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)We bought a property through Galloways and I has been an experience full of pressure. First of all, they sent someone to the property who does not know a single thing about the property. It seems she had to cover for his colleague, I don't blame her, but from the company side does not look great. During the offer process I could see how they were trying to milks us as much money as possible, they were describing it as "I tried to convince the owners", "I put a good word for you", BUT "we have more viewings", "you will loose the property etc... Clearly they did not put a good word because as soon as we did not want to give more money, they accepted in a matter of hours. They were just scheming how to take all the money the could. During the purchase process, they were calling ALL the time complaining about my solicitors, I felt forced to get involved when it was contrary to what my solicitors said. It is supposed to be a process managed between solicitors, but they had to even threat us with losing the property because our solicitor was not happy with their replies. Now at our property, we have seen there might be a mould issue and suddenly a hole in the floor. Our surveyor did not spot this, however, if this agency knew, they did not say anything. After speaking with several people (we are first time buyers) this is what all the state agents do, I guess we could consider they did what they were supposed to do.
15th Apr 2024 (15 weeks ago)I contracted Davis & Gibbs to deal with the sale of my ex-rental studio flat in Kennington. Callum Brook was professional, realistic and really helpful throughout the process. As I no longer live in the UK, he sent me pictures of the flat, advised on which repairs were worth doing, got the meter readings, checked for mail, gave advice on how to deal with the formalities, etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Very shortly after the flat went back on the market (within about 10 days, I think), Callum got me an offer very close to the asking price which I was happy to accept, and the sale was completed recently. I am delighted with this result, especially at a time when the housing market is so unpredictable. I would not hesitate to use Davis & Gibbs again.
