25th Mar 2026 (7 days ago)I came back into the rental market after 7 years and felt a little trepidation about finding the right rental home and working with Estate Agents again. From the minute I contacted the team at Anthony Webb I could not have been looked after better. They organised a viewing of the flat I saw on Rightmove the next day and what really impressed me, is the interaction between the agent showing me the flat and the tenant who was there. They were clearly on great terms and both were happy to answer all the questions I had. I made the offer and it was accepted and I cannot speak highly enough of both the negotiating team and the contract team that have gone out of their way to look after me through the process. They have answered questions, alayed any fears, been happy to go back and forward to Landlord, promptly answered calls. It has been an absolutely outstanding service.

Jake, Andrew and Lucie were all professional, straightforward, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process. Once I had chosen my new home, after numerous viewings of a selection of good quality properties, Jake was particularly helpful and supportive in the (at times torturous) completion process. I would highly recommend Mortemore Mackay as estate agents and as management agents.

From the very first viewing Maria was fantastic - incredibly responsive, always available when I needed something, and genuinely supportive throughout what can often be a stressful process. She must have shown me the property around five times and was always patient, helpful and professional. Maria really went above and beyond to help get the deal over the line and made the whole experience much smoother than it could have been. A great experience overall and I’m very grateful for all the work she put in. Highly recommend both Maria and the Statons Hadley Wood team.

24th Mar 2026 (8 days ago)Very poor service from Alex P. From the start of the tenancy, communication was handled primarily via WhatsApp with little to no formal email correspondence, which felt unprofessional. A serious health and safety concern regarding the balcony was raised multiple times but was not addressed fully. In addition, no proper inventory check-in or check-out documentation was provided. At the end of the tenancy, I was unexpectedly informed of deposit deductions. When I queried this, I was advised to dispute it through the DPS. Overall, a lack of professional communication and accountability made this a disappointing experience. Better communication and proper handling of issues throughout the tenancy could have avoided this situation.

Very professional, and easy to approach. Always, keep things updated and if I would like to discuss anything they are supportive and guiding me accurately. From start to finish, the service was exceptional, and the sale of my flat was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine commitment. After searching for around six months and viewing multiple properties with different estate agents, I still hadn’t found the right place. I then made an online enquiry about a property that had unfortunately already been sold but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because that’s when Wendy stepped in. 17th Mar 2026 (15 days ago)We used Chas Lowe 23 years ago to buy our current home. This time we are selling and, after a recommendation from a friend, instructed a much bigger local firm and really regretted it. After 10 months on the market with 5 offers but no exchange we decided to change agents and use Chas Lowe again. We instantly knew it was the right decision. These men know what they are doing. They know the area and they have a positive, no nonsense attitude which I much prefer to the usual cowboy estate agents. We dealt mainly with James for the viewings and Anthony for all of the after sales stuff( which I had no idea could be so lengthy and tricky- dealing with very particular buyers). Anybody can show potential buyers around your home and get them to like it. The staff in this office actually get the job done and keep you informed at all times-coming up with good ideas and different strategies along the way. I would never mess around with any other firms. Go straight to Chas Lowe. You will be glad that you did.
