27th Feb 2026 (7 weeks ago)I purchased a house through Leaper Standbrook and the experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. The vendor had a language barrier, which required careful management. Unfortunately, this was handled very badly. For two months, the vendor failed to respond to legal correspondence, causing serious delays. As a result, my own buyer was close to pulling out and demanding money back. On the day of completion, matters became even worse. Leaper Standbrook had still not obtained the keys from the vendor due to poor communication and management. I was left sitting on the driveway of a house I legally own with no way to get inside. This should have been an exciting day, but instead it was stressful and upsetting. The lack of organisation, communication, and responsibility shown throughout this process has been unacceptable. I would not recommend Leaper Standbrook based on my experience.

I am new to the area and they provided quick and thorough advice, ensuring that I felt comfortable in viewing properties within my budget and to my specifications. Sydney in particular has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process - getting back to me quickly, acting professionally and friendly, and matching me with properties whenever they came through. I highly recommend Fox and Sons in Seaford if you are buying or selling!!

The sale went through reasonably quickly and they found a very suitable buyer to take over our treasured house. I would certainly recommend Leaders and use them again myself, when required.- 7th Apr 2026 (7 days ago)Fox & Sons are currently in the process of supporting us purchasing our first home. From the outset they have been incredibly helpful, honest and communicative. The whole team are great - however, I have to single out Annabel - who has provided us with an outstanding service from the very start. She has worked to support 2 very nervous FTB with their many questions and concerns and recommended an incredible broker (Nick R) who helped us acquire a fantastic deal on our mortgage in a rush before rates jumped up. She has also pointed us in the right direction for other services we required and her recommendations have panned out very well for us so far. Annabel is a real credit to the branch. Simon and Gregory, I have never met - but both great on the phone and nothing is ever too much trouble.

No matter how many questions we had, they were always happy to answer them. We highly recommend their services!
12th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)We brought a house from crane and co and they really were a great team, they were amazing at always updating us and pushing on the sale when it needed to be done. We worked a lot with Danny and if it wasn’t for him I don’t think the sale would’ve happened! Everytime I phoned crane and Co up they would also pick up the phone and the whole team was very friendly and would try and answer any queries! I would definitely recommend buying and selling through this company!

6th Dec 2025 (18 weeks ago)James from G&S was excellent, very helpful and not at all pushy or salesy. I found him very knowledge and just a really nice guy, so patient and happy to help as well. I have to say I felt very safe in his hands, which I found reassuring when lettiing my home. I felt I was seen as a person and not just another deal that needed to get signed off quickly. Within a week James had organised 5 couples to view and then he went through each applicant with me, stating their strengths or weaknesses as tenants. I felt that he wouldn’t have let me go forward with anyone he didn’t feel would be a good choice. They also organise everything you need, the EPC, gas and electric safety checks and itinerary. Nothing was too much trouble. I would whole heartedly recommend G&S, they’ve got it right, and the office is more accessible for parking being just outside of the main town.

From the very beginning they were professional, proactive, and incredibly easy to communicate with. They kept me fully updated throughout the process and were always available to answer questions or offer helpful advice. Most impressively, they managed to sell my house within a week, which exceeded my expectations. Their knowledge of the local market, clear communication, and organised approach made the entire process feel smooth and well managed. Max and Fred were both friendly and professional throughout, and I always felt confident that my sale was in good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in Lewes.
