As expected with these things there were hiccups, but Alex did everything he could to ensure a smooth sale and keep me up to date with what was going on. It was a pleasure working with Alex, and I look forward to hopefully working with him and Crendon house again in the future

I would highly recommend George David!- 11th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We’re very grateful to Zoe for helping us finally get our purchase over the line after an extremely stressful seven month process, despite there being no chain involved. Zoe was persistent, proactive and supportive throughout, always chasing updates and keeping us informed even when communication from the sellers, NatWest, as well as their own solicitors, was extremely poor. We honestly don’t know how she managed to deal with them for so long, they were repeatedly unresponsive and very difficult to progress with. One thing we would say to anyone considering buying a repossession property is to think very carefully beforehand. The property remained on the market the entire time, our offer price was publicly displayed online, and viewings continued while we were already deep into the process. As first time buyers, this added a huge amount of unnecessary stress and uncertainty. Unfortunately, this was something Connells failed to make clear to us before we became financially involved with our solicitors and the purchase process. Despite all of that, the team at Connells were genuinely helpful and did what they could once they understood what we were dealing with. Zoe especially went above and beyond to finally get us into our home.

As soon as we started dealing with Connells we could tell it was much better customer service. Jasmine and Chloe have been great at keeping in touch and keeping you informed of the process. They were very knowledgeable about the property and very friendly and helpful, which really helped the decision to go with the flat they showed us, as we knew we would get much better support from them compared to the original letting agency we talked to. 21st Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)We called twice and on each occasion left a message so that the responsible person or team could get in touch regarding a property valuation. On both occasions call-backs were promised but never happened. It seems they can afford to turn away potential clients and business. We will now use other agents.

She kept in regular communication with us every step of the way, constantly chased things up, and followed through on enquiries quickly and efficiently. When communication from the buyers’ solicitors was lacking, Karen really stepped in and kept things moving. She was a massive help throughout the whole process and made what could have been a very stressful experience so much easier for us. A huge thank you as well to the whole White Lion team, including George, for helping us find a buyer and supporting us throughout the process. We’re incredibly grateful for all the hard work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

1st May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Graeme Pierce at Thomas Merrifield, Kidlington is a top, top professional. Estate Agents have traditionally taken a lot of stick with their fees being seen as easily earned. Not on this occasion. Graeme managed a difficult sales process with patience, with calmness and with superb people skills. Graeme earned every penny of the fee he charged, overcoming several obstacles and using the experience he has accumulated to assuage the various personalities within a complex chain. I am a GP super fan!!

21st Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)Haven’t received any rent as a landlord since December 2025! They refuse to answer the phone, answer emails, answer instagram messages and I am now owed for the outstanding finances. Absolute awful behaviour - do not list your property with them!!!!

15th May 2026 (30 days ago)We had a property valuation carried out by Brown & Merry at the end of 2024. After deciding not to proceed, we continued receiving repeated voicemails and marketing letters. I initially contacted the branch directly to request removal from their mailing list, but was told that our details were not even on their system, despite the continued communications. It was only after leaving a negative review and sending a further email complaint that our marketing preferences were finally updated and the issue addressed. While I appreciate that the matter has now been resolved, it should not have required public escalation to achieve a basic data and communication request.
