Whenever I raised a question/query he would get it sorted out and get back to me very quickly the same day. Adam was also very helpful. Thankyou Gareth, you’ve made a stressful process much easier.
28th Aug 2026 (30 days ago)We had an extremely disappointing experience with Brown & Co Estate Agents during the end of our tenancy.<br><br>They tried to claim a substantial amount from my deposit for issues that were entirely unreasonable, including the removal of an item of furniture that actually belonged to the property owner, alleged missing lightbulbs, and professional cleaning charges for the entire property including carpets that were nearly 20 years old and beyond life expectancy. Many of the deductions appeared to be aimed at improving the property for the landlord to sell, rather than fairly addressing genuine tenant wear and tear. It was particularly concerning that some of the extra items and the amount of money being claimed were added to throughout the process. The claims presented before and during the DPS dispute process were not entirely consistent, which raised questions about the validity of some of the deductions being sought.<br><br>Throughout the dispute, Josh Bailey's communication was often awkward with no negotiation skills, and there was a clear attempt to pursue claims for betterment rather than what was fair and reasonable under tenancy deposit rules. Rather than acting as an impartial agent, it seemed there was a deliberate focus on maximising the return to the landlord.<br><br>We were also disappointed by his handling of a small area of mould around the faulty hob extractor fan, as the problem was not addressed fairly or appropriately.<br><br>Fortunately, the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) reviewed the evidence independently and saw through many of the claims being made. The adjudicator recognised that the property had not been professionally cleaned when we moved in and rejected a significant proportion of the deductions being sought from our deposit.<br><br>Overall, the experience left us with little confidence in Brown & Co's ability to deal fairly and objectively with tenants. My advice to anyone renting through this agency would be to take extensive photographs at check-in and check-out, keep detailed records of all communication, and not be afraid to challenge deposit deductions through the DPS if you believe they are unfair.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not recommend Brown & Co Estate Agents.

Five StarsI cannot thank the team at Bycroft Estate Agents in Great Yarmouth enough, especially Michele, for their incredible dedication and perseverance.We had an incredibly unique and difficult property to sell—a bespoke, one-off built house with an attached mill. Because it was such a niche property, we knew it would take a special buyer. The process ended up taking nearly two years, during which we faced the heartbreaking setback of our first buyer's chain breaking down.Despite the long journey, Michele never gave up. She kept pushing, stayed incredibly proactive, and successfully secured two sales for us, leading to our final completion.Michele worked tirelessly over those two years to make this happen. Her communication, emotional support, and sheer hard work made all the difference in getting this over the line. If you are selling a property in the area—especially a unique one—I highly recommend Bycroft. Thank you, Michele!

3rd Aug 2026 (8 weeks ago)We chose Hubbards as we were impressed with their positivity when we initially spoke with different members of staff, something we missed in the agency we were initially with. However the volume of viewings forecast did not materialise, there was no one contact person who seemed to manage the case and email communication was not great. We also felt we were being pressed to make decisions that we felt were not fair to the other agent. When we notified them by email that we had sold with the other agent it wasn’t even acknowledged.
14th Sep 2026 (13 days ago)Musker McIntyre have been my lettings agents for over 10 years and I've had a great relationship with them, as my property over those years had no issues, this last year and a half I encountered many problems, with the help of Dawn and Grace, who had all manner of tradesmen on hand to help sort out and fix the many situations I had. They were quick on the phone , ready to assist and able to come up with solutions and to find a perfect new tenant as well. I couldn't had done this without them both and they continue to support me.

25th Jul 2026 (9 weeks ago)I came across Your Move Estate Agents through a family friends of mine .<br>From the ver beginning , even while still on the phone , I got the impression that I am dealing with a professional staff , who knew what they were doing . While speaking with the Chief Executive Olli Humphreys, I was impressed with his speed of with which he resolved any issues at hand . He was cooperative for him there were no important or not important issues , all mattered equally . He dealt with them with extreme efficiency .<br>He and his team made the tedious process of purchasing a new home very easy and dealt with it as if it was his own issues .<br>I cannot recommend him and his team any more .<br>Thank you to the staff at Your Move Beccles .

Communication has been faultless, in particular, Jade has dealt with every query cheerfully and efficiently liaising between buyer and vendor and keeping us up to date throughout ther process.

They were transparent about the process and Karen would always make time to speak to me when I needed to chat. The team at Grace also ensured I was able to get quick viewings at the property when requested. Both Karen and Lewis were very friendly and open, and I appreciate the time they gave me throughout the process.

When my house was sold they provided me with information of everything that happens from now till completion of sale which I found really helpful. To be honest they literally help my hand through the whole process. Any queries or concerns were quickly solved. Anything that wasn't going to plan like delays they communicated immediately. It's been many years since I last moved & thanks solely to Attik & the amazing team there I had a stress free easy transaction they went above & beyond to ensure I was happy with everything. As a first-time buyer, everything felt quite daunting, but they made the whole experience feel so much easier by always being on hand to answer my questions and talk me through anything I was unsure about. It genuinely felt like nothing was ever too much of an ask, and I always felt supported throughout.<br><br>I honestly cannot thank Andrew and the team enough for all their help, patience and guidance. I would highly recommend Friday & Co to anyone looking to buy or sell a property!

My property has been on the market since June 2026, and the repeated issues with something as simple as installing a selling board have shown a lack of organisation, communication, and respect for my time.I agreed to have a board from the start. Weeks passed with no sign. I raised this multiple times and was repeatedly assured it would be sorted. It never was. Even after saying I no longer wanted a board, I was contacted again and convinced to try once more — with promises of follow?up calls that never happened. Three weeks later, I was still being asked whether the sign had been put up.This constant cycle of promises, no action, and repeated calls became frustrating and unacceptable. It made me question whether my sale was being handled properly at all, especially with no viewings taking place.I was told things had improved since my last experience with the company, but unfortunately they have changed for the worse. Due to the ongoing lack of professionalism, I have requested my property be removed from the market.I expect better from an estate agent, and I hope the branch owner reviews the service standards being delivered.
