8th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)Heathgate are the management agents of our block.<br>Shabz is the manager for the block and I do genuinely feel he cares for the residents.<br>No management agent is perfect but after having 3 in as many years I can say that Heathgate are responsive, approachable (very rare for managing agents) and sensible. Shabz sorted an issue for our home that had been ongoing for over a year and caused us a great deal of stress and I am very grateful for this.

I have received so much support and advice from Jatin in handling my property sale. Given I don’t live in London it has been a weight off my shoulders knowing I had a reliable and trustworthy agent handling things for me. I can’t recommend Martyn Gerrard in Finchley enough. 14th Aug 2026 (8 weeks ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

Whenever I had any questions, concerns or maintenance issues during my tenancy, the team responded very quickly and made sure everything was dealt with promptly. I really appreciated that I never had to keep chasing them — they were always responsive and helpful.<br><br>Everyone I dealt with was very friendly, polite and approachable, which made the whole renting experience much easier and less stressful. It was clear that they genuinely cared about resolving any issues and making sure everything was running smoothly.<br><br>They also use the Goodlord platform, which made the tenancy process, documents and payments straightforward and well organised. At the end of my tenancy, the checkout and deposit return process was also handled without any problems.<br><br>Overall, I was very happy renting through this company. The team were professional, reliable and pleasant to deal with throughout my tenancy. Thank you to everyone there for making my experience so positive. I would happily rent through them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable letting agency

However, this estate agent genuinely cares about its clients and puts in the effort to answer any questions and provide help whenever needed.<br><br>I had an especially excellent experience dealing with Daniel Saleem, who is a pleasure to speak to and has made me feel completely reassured throughout the process.<br><br>I couldn’t recommend this estate agent more for the local area. They’re a great option and have provided an excellent service.

He makes way to solve any issue that will be in the way of achieving completion, he is reliable, professional and really just makes things happen. He looks on all possible routes to sell. We recently sold our property in Golders Green through them and were really pleased with the service we received from start to finish.<br><br>Richard was incredibly helpful throughout the process and, when we ran into an unexpected complication during the sale, he was always on hand to offer advice, get involved where needed and used his knowledge and local connections to help move things along. His experience of the local market really showed and it was reassuring to have him involved throughout the sale.<br><br>We wouldn’t hesitate to use Houseman & Holmes again and would happily recommend Richard and the team to friends and family. 23rd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)Dear TAUK Management Team.<br>I am writing to formally log a serious complaint regarding the highly unprofessional conduct and poor customer service I experienced with one of your partner agents Thomas Montclair,last week.<br>As a motivated buyer, I contacted your office to arrange a viewing for a bungalow currently listed with your agency in Southampton.<br>My experience was as follows:<br>After several unreturned calls to Mr Montclair spanning over three hours, I was required to contact his colleague, Sarah, to request assistance.<br>When Mr Montclair eventually responded via text message, the justification given for the delay was highly informal and unprofessional for a business context.<br>When I eventually spoke with Mr Montclair and asked a standard question had anyone died in the property his response was immediately dismissive and defensive and you are not going to but the bungalow.<br>Despite my reassurances that my query was not a deal-breaker but I would like to know the answer Mr Montclair became explicitly rude and abrupt.<br>Refusal of Service and Interpersonal Misconduct: When I attempted to de-escalate the situation by suggesting we had gotten off on the wrong foot, Mr Montclair made several personal, derogatory remarks about my character, saying I was condesending and confrontational.<br>He then abruptly terminated the call after stating that he chose who he did business with because it was his company.<br>Following this, multiple attempts were made by myself, a family friend, and my husband to reopen communication and mediate the situation constructively. Mr Montclair has entirely ignored all subsequent voicemails and phone calls.As a self-employed personal agent representing the TAUK brand, Mr Montclair’s behavior actively misrepresents your network’s standards of client care. His refusal to engage with a genuine buyer directly contradicts the best interests of your client—the vendor selling the property.I request that this matter be investigated internally and that a representative from management contacts me to discuss how this will be rectified.Yours sincerely.<br>Mr & Mrs Cappleman,
2nd Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Extremely disappointing property management and a complete lack of action.<br>This company manages a property on our road that appears to be seriously overcrowded and generates an excessive amount of rubbish. The consequences are now a persistent problem for the surrounding neighbourhood, with fly-tipping occurring on a regular basis.<br><br>We have reported countless incidents to the property management company, yet they appear to have done virtually nothing to address the situation. Despite being repeatedly alerted to the problem, the dumping continues, creating an increasingly unacceptable environment for neighbouring residents.<br><br>This is not just an issue of an untidy or unsightly property. The constant accumulation of rubbish attracts vermin and creates obvious hygiene and environmental concerns. Residents should not have to put up with the consequences of a property being poorly managed.<br><br>It is particularly frustrating that the company has been made aware of the problem repeatedly and has seemingly failed to take meaningful action. A property management company should be taking responsibility for serious and ongoing issues associated with a property under its management, rather than allowing the problem to continue unchecked.<br><br>Based on our experience, the level of management and lack of response to repeated complaints has been wholly unacceptable.
