2nd Jan 2026 (7 mo. ago)We bought our house with Romans in Fleet in July 2025, after almost two years of searching and working with several agencies in different areas. Once we decided to focus on Fleet, Romans truly stood out. Special thanks to Charlie and Matthew, who were outstanding throughout the process. Communication was fast and proactive, and their support during negotiations was excellent. Thanks to their efforts, we achieved a very good price reduction, which played a key role in making the purchase happen. They were also very helpful in arranging multiple viewings to suit our needs. The only area that could be improved is the move manager role. Unfortunately, this part of the process was more stressful than helpful. Communication around completion and moving day (keys, meeting point, and next steps) was unclear and came very late, which caused unnecessary confusion. At such a critical stage, clearer guidance and better coordination would make a big difference. That said, the Romans Fleet team stepped in to resolve the issues, and overall it was a genuinely positive experience. They helped facilitate the process for both buyer and seller, avoided unnecessary obstacles, and handled negotiations in a friendly, positive, and professional way. After some very poor experiences with other agencies in Fleet, I can confidently say that Romans Fleet is one of the best agencies in the area, and I would happily recommend them.

30th Jul 2026 (4 days ago)I cannot praise the staff at Belvoir highly enough for the work which they have done on helping me to sell my property. From the initial discussions, through viewings and negotiations and finally progress chasing an arduous chain Jacob, Alison and Rob worked tirelessly to ensure that I could sell my house and move on.<br>I recommend anyone selling a property in the Bramley, Tadley areas to use Belvoir. Really lovely people.
16th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)I have used Austin Hawk before and had a positive experience, so I came back to them in April 2026 for a tenant find. Unfortunately this time around the experience was completely different and I would not recommend them to any landlord based on what followed. First, they drafted a tenancy agreement with my name spelled incorrectly throughout, an error entirely of their own making, and then had the audacity to try and charge me £150 plus VAT to fix it. After pushing back firmly this was eventually dropped, but it set the tone for everything that followed. The applicant they sourced had failed to disclose her husband's intended occupation on her application form, her referencing form, and verbally at viewing when their own member of staff specifically asked who would be moving in. This only came to light after agreements had been signed and money had changed hands. At that point their own written advice to me was that they would not legally be comfortable proceeding due to statutory overcrowding risk. So their own agent confirmed the tenancy was legally unsafe, yet they still pursued me for their full setup fee. What followed was months of back and forth in which they consistently avoided engaging with the legal arguments I put to them in writing, ignored the specific clauses of their own contract that clearly showed no fee was due, and simply repeated that I should pay up. It was only when I formally invoked their complaints procedure and referenced The Property Ombudsman that they agreed to settle at a significantly reduced figure. The whole experience was unnecessarily stressful and time consuming. I felt that they knew their position was weak but pushed it regardless, hoping I would simply give in. I did not, but not everyone has the time or knowledge to fight back. If you are a landlord considering using Austin Hawk, read their Terms of Business carefully before signing anything and make sure everything discussed verbally is confirmed in writing. He provided a realistic valuation, provide a swift marketing service, having gone live on Monday, with two viewings within 24 hours and several scheduled for that week, both initial viewings yielded offers, one of which was at the full asking price. Property sold subject to contract as at 30 May 2026 I would highly recommend Charlton Grace, Mark has provided a bespoke/specialised service with clear communication and professionalism all at a very competitive agency rate, excellent job to date. From the very beginning, he was professional, knowledgeable, and always kept us informed every step of the way. His communication was excellent, and he was always available to answer any questions or offer reassurance when we needed it.<br><br>Brad worked incredibly hard to secure the best outcome for us and made what can often be a stressful process feel much more manageable. His honesty, dedication, and attention to detail really stood out, and we always felt that he had our best interests at heart.<br><br>We couldn't have asked for a better estate agent and would highly recommend Brad to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. 3rd Jul 2026 (4 weeks ago)I would avoid these estate agents. Their customer service is fine, but unfortunately they work with misleading developers. Likely, you will end up losing money on your property and with a lot of unnecessary stress if you use them for a new build. We bought a new build through them about 3 years ago. To this date, the developer they have been representing has not finished our road, landscaping, or snagging. And this is after chasers and legal action. This has already been addressed with Waterfords at the time, so they are well aware, and we understand that it is not their responsibility to fulfil the developer's duties. However, what I did not expect is that whilst they well know that the said developer (Downton Homes) misleads buyers, Waterfords will continue advertising and selling their properties (having just sold a full new development for them in Ewshot). I guess money talks! But also says a lot about the ethics of this organisation called Waterfords. I would not deal with a business with such ethics, let alone use them to purchase a new build, and moreso if it is produced by Downton Homes.

Would reply within 24 hours to any queries over email and normally call back within the hour if needed.

We have been selling my parents house; Teresa was excellent with advice on making the most of the property to entice buyers in a difficult market, even providing items to dress the house. Nick was efficient and communicative with the legal process and overall we are super happy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Quarters.

19th Jul 2026 (15 days ago)Review to prospective sellers in Basingstoke, UK.<br><br>Contacted multiple agencies. Not one of them impressed me, nor showed any genuine competancy to sell.<br><br>For the sake of giving prospective sellers an idea for each of them, i've summarised my experience below:<br><br>B4rons: low energy, low-pressure sales (i don't know when this is ever a good thing). Agent takes photos themselves + their photos on Rightmove did not impress me.<br><br>Ew4m0ve: the director was rude + thought he was doing me a favour, so i moved on. Was afraid to call me back and have a conversation + stuck to emails alone. I can't build a rappport like that, sorry. Magically believed he could sell well above market demand price despite my neighbour selling 30k below that.<br><br>C0nn4lls: lacked knowledge + experience, and valued property well below market price. I suspect he wasn't capable of selling at market price (which explains lack of exp). Zero sensible rebuttals and waffled.<br><br>G&P: were more interested in measuring my property than having a genuine convo. I let him measure (even though it was extremely weird to turn up to a seller's home, build zero rapport and pull out the laser measure). Offended my wife by his mannerisms/behaviour, so he had to go. Out of date and bored me to death - sent packing.<br><br>M&Co: unimpressive w/ zero sale skills. Was more interested in hearing his own voice than allowing me to speak.<br><br>Now onto Chancellors:<br><br>Ged, the branch Sales Manager, was a joy to work with. He was always early/on-time, unlike the other agencies. He asked all the right questions, and presented sensible responses. My only area of improvement would be to allow clients to speak, because sometimes it was difficult to get him to stop + listen BUT I loved his energy, his passion to sell (at a reasonable price) + the accessibility to him.<br><br>Absolute credit to Chancellors. He remained accessible, even on weekends. Never once turned me away and was genuinely happy to help im responding to our queries.<br><br>The 4* rating is NOT because of Ged. He is being let down by the other agents there. If they stay, it'll be a sinking ship.<br><br>Ana: if it wasn't for the 1-2 calls/emails at the start + for collecting my keys, i'd have no idea who she was. Added little value.<br><br>Aimee: was marketed as loving rooksdown but none of that was demonstrated to me. Again, if i hadn't received a call (at the end of the process), i also wouldn't have ever known who she was. Struggled to understand where she added value in being 'client facing' as no real client engagement w/ me.<br><br>Tanja: major liability. Was marketed as being a law graduate but was not a pleasure to work with. Added little to no value in 'progressing the sale' (which is her job). She failed to comms with my lawyer + kept contacting me w/o the presence of my lawyer. Had to tell her multiple times to keep my lawyer apprised. Failed to manage buyer-seller relationship as i was being fed absolute garbage; before any of those silly asks were even being presented to me, she should have communicated with the buyers and informed them that certain buyer asks were absolutely silly. I called her numerous times during the process, 95% of the time she was unobtainable and didnt respond despite leaving VMs + emails. She favoured the buy side as she told me they would return to her with a suitable completion date, when this really would be a discussion for mutual agreement between both parties. If i ever needed an agencies service again, ill be asking to check she doesnt work there. Was an utterly unpleasant experience and we struggled to understand her role, usefulness and value to the conveyancing process (which was largely led by my lawyer, and in liaison directly with the sell-side legal team). In the end, i was fed up of her 'representing my interests' and informed her (via legal) that i would be pulling out of the sale completely. She did not sanitise any asks from buyer side + simply copy-pasted any/all 'requests' by the buyer into an email to me. That's hardly doing a job a sales progressor should do. She was as useful as a chocolate teapot.

I feel very confident with the process going forward, and we can’t wait to get into our dream home!
