I was always kept updated throughout the whole process, which made everything feel so much easier and less stressful.<br><br>A special thank you to Akil, who I dealt with most of the time. I really appreciated having one main person to speak to throughout the process.<br>I’m now happily settled into my new home and couldn’t be happier. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly, reliable and professional estate agent!

2nd Jan 2026 (8 mo. ago)We bought our house with Romans in Fleet in July 2025, after almost two years of searching and working with several agencies in different areas. Once we decided to focus on Fleet, Romans truly stood out. Special thanks to Charlie and Matthew, who were outstanding throughout the process. Communication was fast and proactive, and their support during negotiations was excellent. Thanks to their efforts, we achieved a very good price reduction, which played a key role in making the purchase happen. They were also very helpful in arranging multiple viewings to suit our needs. The only area that could be improved is the move manager role. Unfortunately, this part of the process was more stressful than helpful. Communication around completion and moving day (keys, meeting point, and next steps) was unclear and came very late, which caused unnecessary confusion. At such a critical stage, clearer guidance and better coordination would make a big difference. That said, the Romans Fleet team stepped in to resolve the issues, and overall it was a genuinely positive experience. They helped facilitate the process for both buyer and seller, avoided unnecessary obstacles, and handled negotiations in a friendly, positive, and professional way. After some very poor experiences with other agencies in Fleet, I can confidently say that Romans Fleet is one of the best agencies in the area, and I would happily recommend them.

17th Aug 2026 (4 weeks ago)I’m very disappointed with my experience as a tenant and, based on it, I would not recommend this letting agency.<br><br>The problems started from the beginning of the tenancy. I moved into a flat that was in a poor state in a number of respects, including not having properly running hot water when I moved in. There were various pre-existing issues with the condition of the property, some of which were subsequently documented in the inventory.<br><br>There were also delays in receiving the inventory/check-in documentation. This meant I did not have a proper opportunity at the beginning of the tenancy to go through everything promptly and raise disagreements about the recorded condition. Once I had moved in, I also found it extremely difficult to get hold of Charlotte when I needed assistance.<br><br>One thing I would particularly caution prospective tenants about is being asked to deal directly with a landlord rather than through the agency’s normal processes. I was advised by the agency to deal directly with my landlord rather than through Goodlord, including paying my deposit directly. I followed that advice. The deposit was ultimately protected, but I had to chase this myself before receiving confirmation.<br><br>During the tenancy, I also spent my own money replacing and improving a number of things in the flat. When I left, I chose to leave several of these improvements behind as a courtesy to the landlord and future tenants, including a replacement toilet seat, curtains and a blind.<br><br>Unfortunately, the direct arrangement I was advised to use has now become a significant issue at the end of the tenancy. I have returned the property and am still waiting for my deposit to be resolved. When I contacted the letting agency for assistance, I was told that because I had dealt directly with the landlord, I needed to continue dealing with her. I found this particularly frustrating because dealing directly with the landlord was something I had originally done on the agency’s advice.<br><br>I have now been told by the landlord that there may be a deduction for decorating. I am quite prepared to accept responsibility for genuine damage I caused — there was some damage associated with Blu-Tack, for example — but I do not accept responsibility for pre-existing deterioration or ordinary scuffs and marks resulting from living in a property, which I consider normal wear and tear. Some of the pre-existing condition of the flat can be seen in the original inventory.<br><br>I am currently still chasing the landlord for an indication of when the decorating invoice will be received and when my deposit will actually be resolved. My latest request for a timeframe has received no response.<br><br>I have tried to be fair and factual in writing this review. The deposit was protected, and I am not suggesting otherwise. My complaint is about the overall experience: moving into a property with significant existing issues, including the hot-water problem; delays with the inventory; difficulty getting assistance after moving in; having to chase confirmation regarding my deposit; being advised to deal directly with the landlord; and now being left to pursue the return of that deposit myself.<br><br>Having spent my own money improving aspects of the property and left those improvements behind in good faith, it is particularly disappointing for the tenancy to end this way.<br><br>Based on my experience from moving in through to moving out, I would not use this letting agency again, and I would advise prospective tenants to make sure that all deposits, inventories and other important matters are handled through clear, documented processes from the outset.

He provided a realistic valuation, provide a swift marketing service, having gone live on Monday, with two viewings within 24 hours and several scheduled for that week, both initial viewings yielded offers, one of which was at the full asking price. Property sold subject to contract as at 30 May 2026 I would highly recommend Charlton Grace, Mark has provided a bespoke/specialised service with clear communication and professionalism all at a very competitive agency rate, excellent job to date. 10th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)Robert was great and made the extra effort to photograph and list our house less than 24hrs after I enquired. Robert communicated with ourselves, our buyers and chased buyers solicitors when needed, his team also were a great help when he was on holiday. Robert recommended Switalski Solicitora and Sarah was amazing, she was so efficient and kept us updated every step of the way.<br>We felt truly looked after and considering house moving could be very stressful, we honestly thought we had a smooth and easy experience.<br>Thanks to all involved!
3rd Jul 2026 (11 weeks ago)I would avoid these estate agents. Their customer service is fine, but unfortunately they work with misleading developers. Likely, you will end up losing money on your property and with a lot of unnecessary stress if you use them for a new build. We bought a new build through them about 3 years ago. To this date, the developer they have been representing has not finished our road, landscaping, or snagging. And this is after chasers and legal action. This has already been addressed with Waterfords at the time, so they are well aware, and we understand that it is not their responsibility to fulfil the developer's duties. However, what I did not expect is that whilst they well know that the said developer (Downton Homes) misleads buyers, Waterfords will continue advertising and selling their properties (having just sold a full new development for them in Ewshot). I guess money talks! But also says a lot about the ethics of this organisation called Waterfords. I would not deal with a business with such ethics, let alone use them to purchase a new build, and moreso if it is produced by Downton Homes.

He was always quick to respond, genuinely caring, and handled a tricky chain situation with complete brilliance—resolving it fairly for everyone while prioritizing my children's school enrollment. Even after we moved in, Nick continued to offer support not just as an estate agent, but as a welcoming neighbor. We are immensely grateful to Nick and the Quarters team; I cannot recommend them enough, and I’m certain the sellers feel the exact same way.

18th Aug 2026 (30 days ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.

None of the usual pressure on buyers to "prove" their credibility before a first viewing, which was very refreshing and built trust quickly. My offer was quickly delivered to the seller with no fuss. When my offer was accepted, Kathy in particular was very dedicated and went above and beyond to keep me updated every step of the way, and kept prompting the right people to get things over the finish line. I could not be happier. Thank you. 5*

We were really impressed with EweMove from our first viewing and how knowledgeable Craig was about our house and the area. He answered our many questions and a few we hadn't thought of. We were fairly clueless as first time buyers and Craig was particularly helpful in the first stages of guaging timeframes and next steps.
