I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

Due to the current housing market situation, it was a long and frustrating experience to finally find a buyer but the team were very helpful, always professonal and did everything they could to support us and see the sale through to the end. 21st Aug 2026 (27 days ago)I was already on with another agent when Cubitt & West said they could do better and get more than the asking price. They served up few prospective buyers and I received poor / below-the-asking-price offers. They said they had a queue of people lined up to buy the property and access to a wider market through their over 60’s affiliates. That never transpired. They erected a sold board when the property hadn’t sold which confused other people that were going to view the property through my other agent. They were not at all effective. I’d never go back to them again.

But all the other staff were also faultless and excellent. Very happy with the job they did and would highly recommend them. Far better than any other agent I’ve used previously.

He was great throughout the whole process which wasn’t the most straight forward purchase, but whatever Will said he would do in regards to chasing and progressing the sale, he was always good to his word. The property was highly sought after and I felt they handled it very fairly throughout. I also liked the mortgage adviser they have to reference me up as a prospective buyer. He didn’t rush the phone calls and was very helpful. Many thanks and we would highly recommend this agents. Gemma & Steve
7th Jun 2026 (15 weeks ago)Very good experience at first. The floor plan was inaccurate however wasn't changed. We kept being pushed to lower the asking price (which they set). In 3 and a half months with them they didn't arrange even 1 viewing. So we changed the agency.

I’m pleased to report that this was also reflected in his dealings with us throughout the sale process; he had a calming influence during potentially stressful periods and was never less than professional in all aspects of the process.<br>Their fees are very competitive and the quality of their marketing material is high. Communication is excellent and at no point did we feel in the dark or not in control of the process. They took on board our suggestions and preferences, but gently guided us where this was appropriate.
