17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

31st Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Deal with this estate agent will be nightmare you prepare to be. just bought a house in guildford. given the offer to the seller. the estate agent pushed price and arrange unrealistic exchange and completion date. this results in the seller withdraw the listing. half year later, the seller is ready to sell. the estate agent disclosure both the sellers and buyers personal information to financial brokers and insurance thirdparties for marketing. during the communication with them, it is hugely unreliable and unfriendly. no customer service and professionalism. at the completion date, the sellers cannot give keys to estate agent and the buyers waste time to wait for the keys to be given. completely rubbish. both the sellers and buyers should be avoid..

From my very first contact Edward was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Edward and his team made the whole process very straightforward and at all times they kept me well informed with rhe process.<br>I would not hesitate to recommend Roger Coupe, and in particular Edward in regards to selling a property.

From first point of contact with Keith to being looked after throughout the purchase by the rest of the Billingshurst office, especially Lindsay who was brilliant throughout. She made sure to push the sale through, keeping to important deadlines and answered any questions we had and before the end of play that day! Would highly recommend and we will definitely use them if we ever looked to move again. 10 stars!!
4th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)The agency were good in most respects, however they suggested dropping the price within a few weeks of the property going on the market, which made us question their original valuation. Ultimately the original valuation turned out to be pretty accurate.- 7th Oct 2026 (25 days ago)I’ve worked with Julie and Emma before and I’ve seen how amazing they are at their jobs. I knew I wanted to them to help me through this process. I’m so glad the house I wanted to buy was with Cubitt and West. I cannot thank them enough for all their effort. I would recommend them a million times over.

16th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Just our personal experience, but unfortunately didn’t have a great one with the multiple people we spoke to. Though at first we found them welcoming, as the process went on, we found the communication to be poor. They’d often not accurately, or at all, relay information to the tenant, asked us to agree to terms that weren’t practice, and also became quite forceful and felt like they tried to “guilt trip” us as the process went on. Again, just our experience, however I would avoid working with them in the future as they made an already stressful experience far worse.
7th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)Very good experience at first. The floor plan was inaccurate however wasn't changed. We kept being pushed to lower the asking price (which they set). In 3 and a half months with them they didn't arrange even 1 viewing. So we changed the agency.

Jacob especially helped to keep us informed in the whole process of buying our house! And was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we may have had. 1st Aug 2026 (13 weeks ago)We had heard that selling a house is a stressful experience. However we found that it isn’t, if GianFranco at Hortons is acting for you! From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.

I commend the way that the lettings department and the sales department worked so closely together to get the job done. I never had to explain or repeat information already given, and you were all on top of the process the whole time. This is exceptional service.

Friendly and professional, with a sense of calm and good humour and excellent communication that ensured everyone was kept updated at every step of the way. Whilst we have no intention of moving again any time soon, we will contact Gavin again when the time comes and would recommend the Cranleigh office to anyone considering a move.

My journey with selling and my onwards purchase has been turbulent but at no fault of Eltons who always did a brilliant job. If you want an estate agent who truly cares about you as a person, and not just a property then Eltons are the best option. The modern house market is plagued with issues but I always felt I could rely on Eltons to support in the best way forward
