7th Apr 2026 (15 days ago)Absolutely disgraceful experience with Century 21 in London, specifically dealing with Sabir. We were effectively discriminated against for having a child. We were told that the landlord had a “bad experience” with tenants who had children previously, and on that basis, we were not even properly considered. That is completely unacceptable in this day and age. Since when is having a family a reason to be rejected? This is blatant bias and feels like outright discrimination against people with children. Instead of assessing us fairly as tenants based on £250,000 per annum income, references, and suitability they judged us purely on the fact we have a child. Sabir handled the situation terribly. There was no professionalism, no attempt to support us, and no effort to challenge the landlord’s clearly prejudiced stance. It felt like they were completely comfortable going along with it rather than doing their job properly. Families should be treated with respect, not excluded because of someone else’s past experience. This agency seriously needs to review its practices. Would not recommend to anyone especially if you have children.

From start to finish the team were professional, responsive and very knowledgeable. They handled everything efficiently from marketing the property and arranging viewings to keeping us informed. The entire process was very smooth and well managed. The team worked hard to secure the sale and we highly recommend Acorn Welling to anyone looking to sell their property. Many thanks to Matt, Lucia and Will for their hard work and excellent service.
2nd Apr 2026 (20 days ago)The Robinson Jackson staff were very helpful throughout our househunting and purchase. They kept the wheels greased at both ends and made for a smooth process. We hope not to have to use them or any estate agents in the near future for obvious reasons, but if we were to move we would happily use them again.

8th Apr 2026 (14 days ago)One of the worst experience in letting properties.They are good on selling/buying properties,tricky and ignoring emails without response,lack of flexibility and not willing to communicate personnel at Abbey Wood branch!The handling of client funds in my situation has been particularly concerning.
2nd Apr 2026 (20 days ago)Just want to say a big big big thank you to these guys and especially Luke! Who went over and beyond for the sale of my freehold home. Luke handled everything from viewings, to tips, to the marketing and on going communication. Luke is a real people’s person who’s professional but approachable always. Luke was able to get me more for my property than rival agents valued it at and it was a smooth interaction throughout. Very grateful and happy, would recommend the agency and Luke to anyone thinking to buy/sell in the area. I’ve sold and purchased properties before and this was my best experience. 5th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)Recently bought a house through David Evans & Co and dealt mainly with Mark. He was brilliant from start to end! Such great communication and a pleasure to deal with. So much better than the estate agent I was selling with, which was one of the big London agents and really didn't care. You could tell that Mark's clients matter to him. If I sell this house in future, I will 100% be using David Evans & Co to sell it.

4th Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)I would never recommend someone to work with Johns and Co! I have had a tenant and without fail since the tenant has moved in the rent has never been paid on time. When they found this tenant they called me and pressured me everyday to say this would be a good tenant and how he was a student abroad and the country the student was from a country where they paid for their accommodation. There is not one month I have received this rent on time! I can’t stress enough do not use Johns and Co at no circumstance if you don’t want to be ripped off and stressed out!

Will evaluated our property and provided me with confidence that his team had the knowledge and skill to provide excellent service. His evaluation was fair and balanced, he didn't try to oversell like other evaluators. The property we wanted to buy also happened to be listed by the John Payne (Chris). The process was very lengthy and exhausting at times , due to issues in the chain above us. Will and Chris did an excellent job, kept us informed at all times and truly stepped up when we hit a hurdle. I would recommend anyone selling or buying a property in SE18 to use this wonderful friendly agency. Thanks as well to Katie (head office) for her assistance with the endless paperwork.

8th Apr 2026 (14 days ago)I’ve had a great experience with Acorn Group so far as a first-time buyer. I highly recommend Adalina who has been wonderful! She guided and kept me updated each step of the process, liaised and negotiated a fantastic deal with the sellers! Looking forward to completing the sale.
2nd Apr 2026 (20 days ago)The sales team were genuinely lovely, no issues there at all. The lettings side however was a completely different experience. The referencing company they use is honestly shocking – it does not have a single review above 1 star. On top of that, my referencing actually showed as completed and successful on their system, and they even confirmed over the phone that I had passed. Despite that, the estate agents told me there was still an issue. To try and move things forward, I offered additional payslips and bank statements, and said I could even get them officially stamped by my employer. They refused to accept any manual documents at all, which I’ve never come across before with any agent. Instead, their process requires you to give third-party access to your personal data - bank account and HMRC account, with no alternative option, again a red flag as this isn’t a legal requirement due to obvious GDPR an security reasons. I wasn’t comfortable with that, so I explained I was happy to provide everything needed, just not by giving that level of access. When I spoke to Hayley in lettings (who was very defensive and not helpful) , I called to ask what I could to help them complete the process and also said I didn’t understand why standard documents weren’t being accepted when they’re normally more than enough - although if I’ve passed referencing no further docs should be required anyway. The immediate response was that my application would be rejected and my holding deposit could be retained if I didn’t agree to share my data that way, which didn’t sit right with me at all. I called again to follow up after the referencing company confirmed I had passed all checks (i contacted the referencing agency directly incase there was a miscommunication or error on their website), and was then told that the person I had spoken to worked in a different office… even though it was the same number and office, which just added to the confusion. Later on, I was told the landlord had actually decided not to proceed anyway – which completely contradicted what I’d been told earlier about referencing being the issue. To be fair, they did refund the holding deposit in full, which I assume is because the situation wasn’t handled properly and they realised they legally could not retain my deposit as I passed all checks. Overall, the whole process felt confusing, inconsistent, and unnecessarily rigid. I’ve rented before and never had an experience like this.

27th Mar 2026 (26 days ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!
15th Apr 2026 (7 days ago)Joey at the Foxtons Woolwich branch was an absolute superstar! I landed from holiday to an email to say the landlord was moving back in after 4 years of me loving living there. After an overnight flight and exhausted - not ideal. I found Joey's details online, and I called and explained everything and he sent me several options right away. 1 of which looked like my perfect spot, so he got me a viewing right away and I got it! He is so lovely, friendly, funny, organised and helpful. I was and am, beyond grateful for him and all his help and advice moving it all through! I highly recommend him and also, everyone in the branch is super lovely when you go in :)
