9th Oct 2026 (24 days ago)Unfortunately, I had a very poor experience with Acorn, largely due to their communication and lack of professionalism.<br><br>When my sale fell through, all I received was an email, with a letter attachment that wasn’t even addressed to my name… I called them to clarify, which took at least two days to get an answer, and I was initially told that the email should have never been sent and that this wasn’t actually the case. However, they later confirmed that it was the case after all. There was constant mixed messaging, and the whole situation was just an absolute mess. I could never get through to them, and neither could my solicitors.<br><br>Whenever I tried to put my point across, I was met with defensiveness rather than a professional response.<br><br>Additionally, whenever someone handling my case was off, it felt as though my case would be forgotten about until they returned, and I would have to chase for an update myself. There was very little proactive communication.<br><br>Overall, the experience for me was just frustrating and incredibly unprofessional.
3rd Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.

He kept in regular contact with both solicitors, ensured everyone was kept up to date, and helped the transaction progress smoothly. I highly recommend Toby and John Payne!
16th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)I am the leaseholder of 41 Textile Building which has been managed by Stirling Ackroyd since April 2026. The first property manager left a mess and has thankfully moved on. Annaliese Bimpong has recently taken over and has done a brilliant job of dealing with the issues that were left behind and liaising with the tenant.

30th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Rachel was really kind and helpful throughout the whole process. As this was my first rental, I was not familiar with a few things and was guided through everything. I found it easy to talk to them and everything happened exceptionally quickly!
5th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)Amazingly bad service We rented a complete owned property for just over 2 years. In that time we had about 5 property managers. This should say all you need to know. Each one not knowing what had gone on before. Given the fact a week before we thought we were moving in we had to chase them to find out nothing had moved forward and they were waiting on us to send documentation (we were not told). Throughout the 2 years they were never really there to help you. After we have left they have tried to keep around 75% of our deposit which is absolutely insane. Missing furniture that never existed in the first place, the most expensive cleaning quote imaginable and £50 to remove a single chair. These are some of the excuses on the quote. Try and avoid complete properties when possible!!

Highly competitive fee structure and much fairer than I saw with other companies. Chloe, Bhav and the team managed to find a great tenant within a week of posting the ad.<br><br>Thanks guys hope it continues to go well.

Whenever we had any questions or needed something sorted, Paula was always there to help and made everything so easy for us.<br><br>In five years, we never had any major issues, and we always felt that our property and our concerns were being looked after properly. It’s not often you find an estate agent where you can have that kind of relationship and trust.<br><br>Big thank you to Paula and Toby for all their support over the years!- 28th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Me and my partner were looking for a flat in London, we used Truepennys to support us during the search and for the offer process for one of our favourite flats. My sale was quite complex, with delays and hold ups in the chain that were outside our control, but the team went above and beyond to keep things moving. They handled everything with professionalism, urgency and a personal touch that I really appreciated.<br><br>Communication was excellent. Whenever I had a question, someone was there to answer, and I always felt confident they were working hard behind the scenes. They were approachable, trustworthy and easy to work with throughout.<br><br>A special thank you to John for his patience with my frequent requests for answers and updates, and to Terrence for his work behind the scenes, pushing the sale forward and showing a real urgency to get things done. Thank you also to Jamie for making me feel welcome from the outset and giving me confidence that I’d chosen the right estate agents.<br><br>I really appreciate everyone’s efforts in getting the sale over the line. He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. Their sales strategy led to 7 offers in one WE, and it wasn’t an easy house to sell either as it had been lived in for 50+ years and had its share of clutter and zero maintenance. Justin supported all the way through the sales process, was always available to help, and personally visited to get documents signed. I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you

Will gave me information for both sales and lettings as I was not sure what I wanted to do at first. They were always willing to help when I had questions.
