22nd Jul 2023 (2 years ago)They are terrible! I have reported them to the Property Ombudsman due to their bullish, oppressive and unlawful approach to me. Their communications is poor and have very poor management and people skills. Their complaints procedure is inadequate, poorly implemented as led by the person I complained about. No response to a Solicitors letter either.

21st Oct 2025 (7 mo. ago)This estate agent is a joke when it comes to marketing properties and getting tenants for landlords. I made the terrible mistake of being lured in by Japan Services’ low fees vs. the high street nationwide companies. First they took almost a week to implement small changes to the contract, the flat photos for the ad were taken ON A PHONE BY AN AGENT are were just as disastrous as you’d expect: badly lit, terrible angles, not cropped. So the ad was a disaster. For all these reasons they failed to get a SINGLE VIEWING in 3 weeks. Let alone an offer. And didn’t even get in touch to discuss a price drop. In general, their communication was abysmal. After giving Japan Services ample time I hired a high street agent who had dozen of viewings within the first 48 hours and three offers in less than a week. I 100% regret ever working with this estate agent and they proved correct every negative stereotype of incompetency in this industry. If I’d just gone with a more expensive high street agent I’d have made back the price difference due to my flat not sitting empty for weeks. Do not repeat my mistake. I dread to think what they’d be like actually managing a property…
17th Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)Highly recommended - friendly, honest, responsive and professional. Having rented in London for over a decade, I know how hard it is to find a good lettings agency and Russell and Tamara at DM &Co really stand out from the crowd. From my first contact they were very professional and friendly. When a landlord refused our tenancy application on a first property due to my needing a guarantor, they were empathetic and compassionate and really fought our corner. They were even happy to give us advice later as we continued our search and came up against some less scrupulous agencies. When a second suitable property came up, Russell remembered us and contacted us straightaway for a viewing and as a result we now have a lovely new rental property to call home. Unlike a lot of agents I have had to deal with, they are extremely transparent, and were happy to answer any questions we had regarding the tenancy agreement, deposits etc. I have encountered plenty of estate agencies who either don't bother to update their knowledge appropriately, or who will try to keep you in the dark just to see what they can get away with. At DM & Co there is none of this, just an honest, professional approach from a small, local team who obviously know the area well. We have been in our new property for nearly three months now and so far everything has gone off without a hitch - they are very responsive and helpful when communicating with our landlady regarding any queries we have, anything that has gone wrong in the property or anything else we have needed so far. So a big thank you to Russell and Tamara - if only more agencies were like you. Update (December 2025): after 5 years renting our much-loved property in Northolt, we have now moved on. The check out process went really smoothly and DM&Co were very human and flexible when we weren't quite sure of the timeline for moving out. Thank you both for your hard work and efficiency over the past 5 years - communication has always been great and it has been a pleasure to deal with you.

Ronnie has been nothing short of amazing, always at hand to help with any questions I've had. Couldn't recommend them enough!
30th May 2026 (22 days ago)We rented this house from them on a one-year contract. However, the house became too small for our needs, so we informed them that we wanted to move out. When the time came to leave the property, we cleaned the entire house thoroughly and handed it back in excellent condition. so we cleaned and improved everything ourselves. We paid the full deposit of £2,000 Before leaving, we thoroughly cleaned the entire property and made sure everything was spotless. We even sent them proof of the cleaning. Despite this, they unfairly kept our deposit. We made many requests and tried to resolve the issue, but nobody listened and no action was taken. So please be careful and avoid dealing with them. They are complete scammers.

I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to Kasim, who assisted and supported me throughout the process of terminating my contract early due to personal reasons. They are professional and genuinely care about their clients. 11/10 would recommend ????????
18th Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)I previously had my flat on the market with Foxtons for three months and, during that time, only had around four viewings, which I was extremely unsatisfied with. I was then approached by HomeSearch, who took on the property and immediately provided honest and realistic feedback. They felt the flat was overpriced and carried out a proper assessment based on the current market. I was happy with the revised price they suggested. From that point on, the difference was clear. They generated a strong level of interest and arranged many more viewings. Arba and Michael were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their communication and professionalism stood out throughout the process. After a couple of months with HomeSearch, my property has now received an offer which Ive accepted. I would definitely recommend HomeSearch to anyone looking to sell their property.

There was no time wasting or hiding anything — everything about the flat was explained clearly and exactly as expected. A special thanks to Khotol, who was absolutely amazing. She was very professional, responsive, and made the whole decision-making process so much easier for us. Whenever I had any doubts or questions, she informed me immediately and kept us updated at every step. And not forgetting Jason! He was also fantastic and very supportive throughout the process. Highly recommend Henry Wiltshire to anyone looking for a smooth and trustworthy experience.

19th Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)This is the worst agency so far. They tried to raise our rent without the approval of the landlord until we had to move. We did not know about this until the landlord called me and said he never asked for the rent to go up.

15th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)I had engaged Rolitex to manage my property since I bought it in 2006. Initially, their service was pretty standard for a high street estate agent, handling repairs and rent collection adequately. However, everything changed when I decided to move into the property and needed to evict the tenants. Rolitex issued the Section 21 notice as required, which was fine. But as the notice period neared its end, we wanted to discuss the tenants' plans. Every time we asked Rolitex, specifically Roland, he would shout down the phone, telling us to wait for the two months to end. When the notice period expired and the tenants didn't move, Roland offered no assistance on the next steps. He was silent until we had to demand a meeting, where we were told we needed a solicitor. I understand he is busy, but how difficult is it to communicate simple information to a longstanding client? After hiring a solicitor, Rolitex was professional in providing the necessary documents, no matter how many times we asked. However, during this time, rent payments became erratic. Whether it was the tenants paying late or Rolitex’s mishandling, it would have been nice for them to inform us, especially with mortgage payments piling up. Whenever I asked Roland about this, he would shout as if he was doing me a favor. He even increased his fee without notifying us and insisted he had informed us when he clearly hadn't. I eventually had enough of Roland's lack of communication and aggressive behavior, so I decided to collect the rent myself. To Roland's credit, he facilitated this transition quickly, and interestingly enough, the tenant paid me on time from then on. When the tenant finally vacated, the property was in a terrible state. This was no surprise since Rolitex had not conducted an inspection since the late 2010s. My experience with Rolitex started amicably but ended very poorly. While other staff members were professional and helpful, Roland was consistently aggressive and difficult to communicate with. This review should not surprise anyone considering the other negative feedback but should serve as a caution for anyone considering dealing with Roland at Rolitex.
