16th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)Ameded from five stars to one. After the tenancy ended it is impossible to get the deposit back from the agency. There isn't even a dispute, they are unresponsive and in nerly two months since the contract expired have done nothing except forwarding one email from the landlord. Everything else is me chasing them without any results. I have never waited this long and I am still waiting with zero support or ownership from them. Demoralising, best avoid. Original review below: Great experience renting with Dockside, professional, tailored and effective. Deepak has been great throughout the whole process.

Up to date correspondence and communication through the process was much appreciated.- 13th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)I would advise both tenants and landlords, as well as current landlords and tenants considering using these agencies, to exercise caution when dealing with Imran Hussain, who operates under the agency names Oliver Brooks and Kenneth Lloyd’s. In my experience, communication and management of the property were often stressful, confrontational, and highly unprofessional. Much of the communication I received was through email, which I intentionally kept for record purposes. Although our EICR certificate reportedly passed as “Satisfactory,” the emergency fuse switches within the property did not function correctly, as indicator lights remained on regardless of switch position. Additionally, despite the property passing a gas safety inspection, there was no accessible gas shut-off stopper installed, which caused concern regarding safety in the event of an emergency. Less than four years ago, an elderly housemate suffered a serious fall on a Sunday. I contacted the managing agent requesting assistance in reaching the tenant’s family member, but was informed that no support would be provided because it was outside working hours. In August 2024, issues also arose regarding a vehicle owned by Imran Hussain or his friend was parked outside the property. We had previously been informed that the car was non-functional and would remain parked until repairs were arranged. However, while I was at work, I was contacted without prior notice and asked to move my partner’s vehicle, which was blocking access. As I do not drive, I had to physically push my partner’s vehicle to create space. Following disputes during the tenancy, a Section 21 notice was served, and there were repeated threats to increase rent unless we voluntarily left the property. Notably, two separate Section 21 notices were issued during the tenancy, and both were completed incorrectly. As someone who works within the estate agency industry myself, I immediately recognised issues with the first notice, to the point that both my partner and I laughed in disbelief when we received it. Only a few months ago, a second Section 21 notice was then issued, which again contain errors. In my opinion, this demonstrated a lack of professionalism and competence in handling legal tenancy procedures. We also experienced ongoing issues regarding property viewings. Despite repeatedly refusing permission for access to our private bedroom, our CCTV footage captured an agent checking whether we were home, contacting Imran Hussain to inform him that the property was empty, and then proceeding to enter my bedroom with a prospective tenant without my consent. This footage, including audio, was later submitted as part of my complaint to the Property Redress Scheme. Communication throughout the tenancy was, in my opinion, frequently hostile, sarcastic, intimidating, and unnecessarily confrontational. Emails regularly came from different addresses, yet the tone and wording appeared consistently similar. As of March 2026, the landlord appointed a new managing agency. My understanding is that this followed concerns regarding rent increases on individual rooms that did not appear to correspond with the landlord’s own rental income. I was later advised to contact the Deposit Protection Service directly regarding the return of my tenancy deposit, as attempts were still being made to manage the deposit despite the agency no longer overseeing the property. Overall, my experience was extremely stressful, and I would not personally choose to rent through these agencies or have any future dealings with Imran Hussain. I would strongly encourage both tenants and landlords to carefully document all communications when dealing with him. In my opinion, it is best to keep communication in writing via email or text message wherever possible, rather than relying on phone conversations. Following everything that occurred during the tenancy, we are relieved to finally move on and live peacefully under new management.

The recent house sale went very smoothly & the consideration with which Look dealt with the tenants was reflected in their being obliging during a process that had no advantage to them.

27th Jun 2026 (6 weeks ago)We purchased our home through Allen Davies and had the absolute pleasure of working with Vivien Klucso.<br><br>Buying a house is one of the biggest decisions you make in your life and can often be stressful but Vivien made it incredibly easy. She is exceptionally responsive and extremely accommodating; replying to emails promptly, facilitating multiple visits, finding out answers to all our queries from the seller. I cannot overstate how important this is.<br><br>She's warm, friendly, open and honest. I think she genuinely enjoys what she does and I highly recommend working with her. We're extremely grateful and very excited for our life in our new home.

12th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)Service was amazing, highly recommend these estate agents. Mike Driver, the branch manager, was great from start to finish. We appreciated his honesty, transparency, and his willingness to go above and beyond. He helped us chase the vendor's solicitors and was responsive over the phone. The staff were also very helpful and lovely, taking great notes and collaborating with each other well. I highly recommend, and will look to contact them again if we are in the market again. P.s. this was a review I gave in July 2021, but didnt get published!!

I’ve been renting a house through City View Property for the past 3 years, and Im very happy with there service From day one, they have been incredibly professional, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable living experience. Any issues that arose were promptly addressed, and the property was always well-maintained. The staff is friendly, approachable, and truly committed to providing top-notch service. I highly recommend City View Property to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive property management team. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable. Really lovely genuine people.<br><br>Gabriel has been the outstanding person to onboard with in our new rented flat. I’m thoroughly impressed with his communication, touching base regularly and work through any initial questions. Such a great human. The level of support as a tenant has been the best I’ve experienced in all my 15 years renting in London.<br><br>Finding a place to live can be one of the most stressful things to do. Not with this team! Thank you.
22nd Jun 2026 (6 weeks ago)Very poor experience from start to finish. I called on Saturday and was told they would check with the current tenants and arrange a viewing. They booked me in for 15:00, but when I called to confirm they went silent and stopped responding.<br><br>I chased again on Monday and they rearranged the viewing for 13:15. I arrived at 13:17. As I pulled up in my car the agent was already leaving, and we made eye contact. It was obvious I was there for the property, yet he carried on walking off, later claiming he assumed I wasn't coming. He couldn't wait even two minutes. When he finally came back to show me the property, he was abrupt, barely spoke to me, and gave the impression he had no interest in showing it at all.<br><br>When I asked about any flexibility on the rent, he told me he already had four other offers, all at the full asking price of £1,375, and that all four had already paid deposits.<br><br>Afterwards I messaged to ask about the council tax and to let them know I liked the property and wanted to put in an offer. Again, no reply. They simply ghosted me.<br><br>A complete lack of basic customer service and common courtesy. I would not recommend dealing with this agency.

Thank you so much!<br>The bitter and fake reviews are unfair and unsure why google hasn’t removed them yet because it can put fear for no reason. No company is perfect, but this one is decent! ??

This team was professional, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to help us supporting us in tough times, when dealing with property issues was very stressful. Communication was always clear, and I felt supported at every step of my renting time. Dealing with Estateology, and with Sam, is a luck in London — where the qualities above are hard to find. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and genuinely caring agency.
8th May 2026 (13 weeks ago)The staff are extremely helpful and polite once in your home they treat it with respect and keep you informed every step of the way, The leader of the branch is Charlie King who leads by example and expects his team to match his enthusiasm,. After having my house listed with another agent for six weeks with very little action or communication. Charlie was sure he could sell my house in two weeks, but in all honesty it took them four days and that was because there was a bank holiday! The error I made was not using them as my first choice DO NOT make my error . use Balgores first.

7th May 2026 (13 weeks ago)Delaney's are a local agency who were able to get me a buyer quickly and I had an offer within a month of putting my property on the market. They kept me updated throughout the process and were a good link for direct contact with the buyer. Their prices were also very competitive. I would recommend them and be happy to use them again.
