27th May 2026 (19 days ago)Avoid Barnard Marcus West Kensington/Shepherds Bush – A Management Nightmare I am writing this to warn other landlords about the persistent failures and lack of professional accountability at the Barnard Marcus West Kensington/Shepherds Bush branch. My experience has been a masterclass in how to mismanage a property while charging a premium for the privilege. The "Sales Pitch" vs. The Reality The Branch Manager, Andreja, is very effective at selling you the earth. He promises a high-level, seamless management experience, but the reality is you are handed a bag of dirt. Once the contract is signed, the proactive service disappears, and you are left to deal with a branch that seems more interested in internal politics than property management. Non-Existent Service & Expensive Maintenance Despite paying for "Full Management," I found their tenant management services to be effectively non-existent. When issues arise, you have to scream at the branch just to get a response. Their after-care for property maintenance is extortionately expensive, yet the service remains sluggish. You end up doing the coordination yourself while they continue to collect their fees. Billing for Everything, Delivering Nothing The "hidden" costs are relentless. They will bill you for every minor administrative task—annual statements, tax reporting, and various "extra charges"—even though these should be covered under a management fee. In my case, they even billed me for tax administration services that were entirely based on their own internal errors. Formal Complaints & Internal Politics The level of incompetence reached a point where I was forced to go through a grueling formal complaints procedure just to get Andreja to do his basic job. It is clear that this branch suffers from a total disconnect between departments (Lettings vs. Accounts). I spent months caught in the middle of their internal "mess," with one department claiming a task was finished while another proved it wasn't. They played internal politics at my expense, leaving me to face the fallout of their administrative failures. The Fallout Their inability to correctly process simple change-of-ownership documentation led to severe errors in financial reporting and tax statements. To this day, the branch remains disorganized, reactive rather than proactive, and fundamentally incapable of providing the service they sell. Verdict: Save yourself the stress and the extra charges. This branch talks a good game but fails entirely on delivery. Protect your investment and your sanity by going elsewhere. The company will post a response to this review with an email address they never respond to! Lucy doesn’t exist!

9th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Owners should avoid using Westways. As a renter, Westways are the agents to represent landlords. We are renting a place through Westways, where there have been persistent issues. In addressing these issues, Westways persistently show a lack of care and professionalism when addressing these matters. A key issue being, ignoring most matters being raised, taking an extended time to respond to any matters raised and primarily will be an acknowledgement over any possible action, looking to first blame the tenant prior to assessing any issues, sending inadequate contractors to assess issues with a house, and using incorrect contractors to fix issues which ultimately lead to additional issues. Whilst in some instances the house may inherently present issues, the lack of care and professionalism is evident. The comedy of issues we have faced have led to inadequate living conditions we are paying rent for. Additionally, by using their 'own' contractors and not appropriate contractors, issues persist and it leads to a more costly issue for owners. I am not a professional but what I do know is, if you have an issue with plumbing, send a plumber. If the same person who addressed an electricity matter is also tending to a plumbing issue, how can they do a better job than a plumber?

As Landlords of the Property that she manages, we find that she always returns our call, when we leave a message for her. Being a Senior Property Manager she is very experienced in dealing with any issues that occur and sorts them out as soon as possible. They were always accommodating when arranging viewings and took the time to clearly explain everything about the property. Communication between all parties was smooth and prompt, and they were always quick to respond to any questions I had. Friendly, approachable, and very supportive throughout the process. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and efficient estate agency.

29th May 2026 (17 days ago)We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Aaron. From the very beginning, the house was presented beautifully. The photos and video were excellent and really showed the property at its best. Aaron organised an open day which brought in over 30 viewings, and the level of interest he generated was far beyond what we expected. Most importantly, he achieved a sale at £30,000 over the asking price, which we were absolutely delighted with. Throughout the whole process, Aaron kept us fully updated and was always available whenever we needed him. One thing we particularly appreciated was that he was our sole point of contact from start to finish. He personally hosted all the viewings and dealt with everything directly, which gave us a lot of confidence and made the whole process feel much more personal. Once the offer was accepted, everything moved incredibly quickly and we completed within 7 weeks. We would highly recommend Aaron to anyone thinking of selling. He worked extremely hard for us, communicated brilliantly, and delivered a fantastic result.

The sales consultant I had when dealing with viewings and putting in an offer was knowledgeable and honest, and I never felt like I was being squeezed of my money. The other staff such as the sales progressor were all extremely professional and always responded to me in a timely manner and I also liked the sales tracker website Drewery uses. They even gave me a bottle of wine when I picked up my keys on completion. You are in safe hands with Drewery from a buyer's perspective and I would go with them for the future sale of my property.

I must praise them on their professionalism (as well as the sales department !) and on how well they have looked after me as a landlord and seller, and my property. 6th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)Hello folks, I'm based in Malaysia and own a property in London managed by Farrell Lewis. They were recommended to me by the developer & I've not looked back since. It's been more than 6 years. They helped find a tenant (a small family), who are still there. They proactively sorted out issues whether they were related to local council, maintenance or services. For someone like me so far away, this is more than assuring. Particular mention to Aziz Khan for his outreach and accessibility and to Billy for his hands on operations. Thank you so much. 28th May 2026 (18 days ago)We’ve been in contact with Elliot Gold , one of their agents who was really unprofessional with us . There was an issue with our rent agreement which caused a lot of frustration for us and the landlord and Eliot didn’t understand our side so we felt that their agent doesn’t understand the real estate laws properly. I wouldn’t choose them as a landlord or as a tenant.
