17th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)From the initial contact everyone was really friendly, called back when they had promised, booked a viewing without setting up an account or sending tons of property emails that do not meet our search criteria. The viewing was at the time agreed and I felt it was very respectful to the tenant to have a group viewing on one day. Property had multiple offers and the bidding process was clear and fair. A very positive experience!

19th Oct 2025 (6 mo. ago)I had a fantastic experience finding a property to rent with Pierre. Pierre is particularly accomplished at making the stressful experience stress-free and straightforward. He achieves this through clear and effective communication and is happy to go the extra mile to answer questions he does not immediately know. I would definitely recommend Pierre to anyone looking to rent in the area. His knowledge of the local area, available properties, and the overall process is second to none!

I can not recommend Macquire Baylis enough, and they have made the process as smooth as it can be. I endeavoured a lot of challenges with solicitors but the team at Maguire Baylis went above and beyond, explaining things my solicitor failed to explain, and helping progress the purchase from start to end, persevering despite the challenges and getting us to complete. I can not thank them enough!

I know this seems an unlikely word to use, but the process from start to finish with Andrew, Brenda and the team meant they were allways one step ahead of things to guide the way, alay any fears. Communicating always with clarity, grace and intelligence ensured the process never felt unpredictable, our out of control. It seems clear to me they like their jobs and the enthusiasm and quiet confidence they demonstrated created a sense of calm for us. Thank you again Richard, Brenda and Hunters team for a job well done.

7th Apr 2026 (30 days ago)I knew Barnard Marcus had an agency in Peckham, it felt local. Liam (Small), the Manager, immediately booked an appointment to visit my apartment to discuss the sale. Liam clearly knew the building, knew the figures for all recent sales of apartments in the building. I was certainly invited to discuss the price at which I’d like to sell the flat. It was clear that Liam and Barnard Marcus knew how to sell online. All very professional, a price was set.

He’s professional, sincere, and made sure any concerns we had were sorted out quickly. He’s honest, straightforward, and easy to talk to, which made the whole renting experience really smooth. I really enjoyed my time living at the property and always felt safe and comfortable there. I truly appreciate everything. Thank you!
26th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)I would not recommend originally rung up and told there were more than one interested in property and that X was was best option as he had the money in place and was just waiting for money to arrive from parents. He put in an offer and asked me to take it off the market for two weeks so that he would have the money and we agreed on around 25 Feb on the basis that this would be a quick sale and was expecting that contracts could be exchanged by the beginning of May. I signed my part of the contract on 7 may and after that constant false promises about X being ready to exchange contracts - do not know who was lying client X / client solicitor/estate agent but it turns out X had a flat to sell and that there were problems with the lease on his flat and after many false promises contracts were not exchanged until the beginning of August. At the end of the day I do not know who was lying but had I known at the outset that he had a property to sell then I would have considered the other interested parties and their offers and had I known in early May he had issues with the lease on his property I would have re marketed the property On 31 July 19 days before sale was told "you will now begin to hear from our Sales Support Manager, Sandra. She will introduce herself shortly and will be your primary point of contact moving forward .......She will be in touch regularly" I did not receive any call from this lady at all regular communication with the estate agent was also far from perfect on occasions with calls emails not returned/replied

4th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience. I had an appointment booked to view a shop and had to take time off work to attend. I drove 45 minutes to the location, but when I arrived there was no one there to meet me or open the property, I contacted the office, only to be told that they had forgotten about the appointment and asked me to rearrange for another day. This was a complete waste of my time and very unprofessional. I hope they improve their communication and organisation so this doesn’t happen to others.

They were professional, proactive, and clearly knew the local rental market extremely well. Within a short time, they secured a reliable tenant who met all my requirements, and the whole process was handled smoothly and efficiently. Communication was excellent throughout — I was kept updated at every stage and never had to chase for information. They made the entire process stress-free, from marketing the property to referencing and final paperwork, everything was managed seamlessly. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to let their property. Truly a 5-star service, and I’ll definitely be using them again in the future.

They gave good advice and information which made for a smooth process. The service from the onset was professional and reassuring. We were updated promptly during each step of the process and their support throughout was consistent. Always available and responded promptly to any queries. For this we're immensely grateful. 1st May 2026 (6 days ago)This company is highly unprofessional and unreliable. Communication is extremely poor — emails and calls are often ignored, and urgent issues are not properly handled. During the tenancy, multiple problems were left unresolved, making the living experience stressful and frustrating. At the end, they charged unreasonable fees without clear evidence or justification. Please do not trust the positive reviews on Google Maps. I strongly suspect this company is inflating its rating with fake reviews????????????????????????? Overall, I would strongly advise others to avoid renting through this agency.

We couldn’t be happier with the service they provided - communication was clear and responses instant. Solicitors were chased when necessary and updates provided throughout the process. Highly recommend getting in touch with them if you’re thinking of buying/selling or renting in the area. Genuinely nice people, thank guys.
