12th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Unfortunately, my experience with Hamptons was extremely disappointing. I appointed them three times over the past four years — twice to sell my property and once to let it — and on all three occasions they failed to find a suitable buyer or tenant.<br><br>When I appointed them to let my property, one of their staff members attended a viewing with a prospective tenant. The gentleman did not appear to be working and was asking for a discount on the rent. After locking up the flat, I noticed the prospective tenant and the Hamptons staff member whispering in the hallway and then becoming silent as I approached. I found the situation quite unsettling and it gave me very little confidence about renting my property to this individual.<br><br>More recently, I instructed Hamptons to sell the property again before ultimately deciding to move to another agent. I was disappointed that their junior staff carried out viewings without informing me of the prospective buyer's name beforehand. On one occasion, I discovered through my own investigation that a woman who had already viewed my property twice through Savills was now attempting to view it for a second time through Hamptons. She had not disclosed to Hamptons that she had already viewed the property, and she was not in a position to purchase as her own property was not even on the market. She subsequently visited the property several times, which I felt was an unnecessary waste of everyone's time. Providing me with the prospective buyer's name in advance could potentially have avoided this situation.<br><br>Hamptons eventually found a buyer, but the offer was below the amount I had originally paid for the property. I felt that this was another waste of time, particularly as I was encouraged to consider accepting the offer. Fortunately, I declined.<br><br>The final communication from the director was particularly disappointing. I was told that Hamptons were the only people who could sell my flat and that I was making a mistake by leaving them. This was after three months of marketing, during which there had been very few viewings and no credible offers.<br><br>Needless to say, I decided to change agents. Within just one week of going back onto the market with another estate agent, I received a strong offer — and ultimately achieved the best possible price, reflecting what my property was genuinely worth.<br><br>This experience has made me very sceptical of high-street estate agents. My advice would be to do your research carefully and choose an agent who is transparent, realistic, communicative and genuinely focused on achieving the right result for you.

They were clear with what our house needed prior to going onto the market and incredibly thorough with finding the right buyers and flexible around our family when it came to viewings. Highly recommend them for your next sale or purchase.
20th Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)I would like to leave a very positive review for Alex at Foxtons Battersea. Alex has been an incredible support throughout the entire sale process. Before working with Foxtons, I was with another agency and unfortunately they were not supportive or helpful at all. The difference with Alex was truly remarkable. He was always professional, kind, and calm — even during the most stressful moments of the sale. He always had a solution ready and made us feel reassured at every stage. What I appreciated the most was his availability. He was always reachable and responsive, even while he was on holiday. We were constantly in touch, and that level of dedication made a huge difference for us. I highly recommend Foxtons Battersea, and especially Alex, to anyone looking to sell their property with confidence and proper support.

15th Sep 2026 (2 days ago)I am flabbergasted by the reviews of Keatings, in particular Christian. I can only imagine they are being deleted as I have been part of numerous conversations with people in the SW2 area who have had dealings with him, and previous colleagues of his and all experienced the same challenges. He is condescending, rude and lazy. Raised his voice multiple times out of frustration and made zero effort to represent the interests of the seller. He just forwarded emails across and made me deal directly with a challenging buyer as opposed to make any effort to represent me. I could not discourage you from using him any more. He makes a stressful situation more stressful and takes nothing off your plate, merely adds to it.

Our agent Maykel has been great, he’s very communicative and kept us in the loop at all stages. He’s really friendly and helped us out in a key emergency which we really appreciated. Their contractor was very nice and quick to fix any issues once we moved in. A couple minor delays with the moving in process but overall would recommend.- 21st Aug 2026 (27 days ago)We recently worked with Tara (and Sam) from Hamptons to move to Earlsfield from outside the UK. Tara was extremely helpful, professional and accommodating with all viewings and correspondence. We greatly appreciated her friendly kind demeanour and taking us through every step of the way. 3rd Sep 2026 (14 days ago)As a newcomer to the UK it can be overwhelming on how to purchase a home when the process is so different from what I am used to. Luckily it felt like we found a good agent to help us along the way; Florence from Chestertons.<br><br>While it is an odd process to deal with a sell side agent directly, I never felt there was any conflict of interest - she was fair and straightforward. Florence was also available to field questions I had thru the process which eased our anxieties.<br><br>I maintain that the whole process here is strange and I would suggest to folks that you should really agonize over the survey (this is my main regret as we have had many things pop up since owning our home despite getting the highest level survey completed) but the help I got from Florence/Chestertons made the purchasing process specifically much less of a stressful situation than I had been warned to expect here in the UK.

4th Sep 2026 (13 days ago)The staff at Loft were everything and more during my purchase.<br>Viewing properties with Krissy, she knew about the properties, could answer questions and genuinely felt like she cared.<br>Ollie was my sales progressor and he went above and beyond with a case that got tricky at times! Always happy to answer questions and chase all parties to push everything along. Can’t thank him enough.<br>At no point did I think I was on my own, I felt like the staff cared and were looking out for everyone’s best interests.<br>Happily would use again!
7th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)While I was still living at the property, I returned from a short lunchtime trip to Lidl and found a Marsh & Parsons representative with my landlord inside my bedroom, despite me having received no 24 hours’ written notice and having agreed no mutually acceptable appointment for access. I have now escalated the matter formally because I am deeply dissatisfied with both what happened and the way my complaint is being handled.
