From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making the process as smooth as possible. Patrick was always available to answer questions, no matter how small, and explained everything clearly, which made what could have been a stressful experience feel manageable and even enjoyable. His attention to detail and proactive approach meant that nothing was overlooked, and I always felt confident that I was in safe hands. What really stood out was his dedication and personal touch. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and went above and beyond to ensure everything progressed efficiently. His communication was excellent throughout, keeping me updated at every stage and ensuring there were no surprises. I also want to highlight the wider team at Chancellors, who were all outstanding. Luke was always on hand and incredibly prompt with any queries, and Briar Jones was absolutely fabulous to deal with—professional, friendly, and highly efficient throughout. I couldn’t have asked for a better estate agent and team, and I would highly recommend Patrick and everyone at Chancellors to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. 3rd May 2026 (17 days ago)Awful company avoid at all costs!! Sterling were paid to manage the rent apartment we live in for over two years. We suffered awfully under their incapable management. A infestation of mould mites, ruining our furniture and having to call out pest control. We told sterling endlessly the flat had a mould issue and during one conversation they told us we didn’t have to live there even tho we took out a two year fixed contract. Our flat bedroom leaked into the flat underneath us and again this was a huge mess up trying to fix this after it had happened three times before. Our contract was due to finish end of January 25, they began to bully us with negotiations in October 24’ ignoring the 2 month notice period and increased our rent. My list about sterling could go on and on, they have no clue how to manage properties or where the apartments are in blocks. The only way they deal with problems is by referring back to their online portal which leaves problems for weeks getting worse. If you want to keep your properties in good working order do not allow this company near your properties.

From start to finish, he was a true professional — thorough, responsive, and extremely efficient. I needed to secure a flat quickly, and Hamza acted fast to make the process as smooth as possible. He handled the formalities promptly, helped move things along without delay, and ensured the tenancy agreement was completed on time. Even after the main formalities were done, Hamza continued to be consistently helpful, answering my ad-hoc questions and providing support whenever needed. I truly appreciate his dedication, professionalism, and quick communication. Many thanks to Hamza and his team for all their support in helping me find my flat. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and proactive agent.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Selling a home can be stressful at the best of times, but doing so while expecting my third baby added a whole extra layer of pressure—and Shannon handled everything with incredible professionalism, care, and dedication. She worked tirelessly throughout the entire process, going above and beyond what we ever expected. What really stood out was her constant communication; she was always in touch with every estate agent in the chain, making sure things were progressing and pushing wherever needed to keep everything moving as quickly as possible. It genuinely felt like she was as invested in the sale as we were. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her reassurance and proactive approach made a huge difference during such an important and busy time in our lives.
