They were always at the end of the phone for any query and dealt with our house sale with sensitivity and respect. I would not hesitate to recommend Strutt and Parker.
22nd Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)Hawks, in particular Jasmine, was fantastic. I bought the second flat I viewed. Jasmine was really personable, answered all my questions (including following up via e-mail as needed), and supported me throughout the process. I am a first time buyer so didn’t know anything about the necessary steps so Jasmine and her colleague (Sandip) helped guide and prepare me throughout. I definitely recommend using Hawks and Jasmine.
13th May 2026 (30 days ago)Fennwright as not acted in my best interest upon end of tenancy. I paid my rents and never delayed a minute and when I ended my tenancy upon expiration of agreement, I was presented a bill of £505 which I found to be unfair to me. I contacted Fennwright and it’s clear my opinion and interest doesn’t matter to them except for that of the landlord. I am also your client and deserve better treatment. Not sure I can deal with Fennwright again because it’s clear they are on the side of the landlord and not the tenants

They made everything feel straightforward and stress-free, which isn’t always the case when renting. Communication was clear and timely, and any questions I had were answered quickly. The property was exactly as described, and the move-in process was smooth and well-organized. I’d definitely recommend this agency to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy rental experience.

30th May 2026 (13 days ago)We’ve had the best experience with Knights residential. From the off set when we first met Chloe at a viewing for another property we wanted to sell our property through knights. Then every step of the process has been exactly what you’d wish for with a property sale. They listened to our preferences and did everything the way we wanted it- no unnecessary pushiness, great contact, quick responses and the best customer service. Chloe was amazing from the start and was the reason we were first drawn to Knights, David came and valued the property and took great photos, no lying to get us to go with them either- what he said we’d get we did, Josh was also great and kept us in the loop with our offer (out of office hours and during a very difficult day for the company when they said goodbye to their colleague- which was appreciated but not what we would have expected) then Lorraine their sales progressor worked so hard to get our sale through as smooth as possible- especially in the last week before exchange!! Not your typical estate agents, who push you to go with them, then contact you pointlessly with no information, tell you to drop the price because what they originally valued at wasn’t what it was worth anyway, then ghost you when the property is sold. When the day comes that we want to move again we would absolutely go with knights again and recommend them to anyone we know selling in the Colchester area!
11th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I chose Amos Estate Agents as they are so involved in the community in Hockley. They genuinely care. Selling through them was a pleasure. They answered all questions promptly and with care. They chased whenever I asked and were an amazing conduit between myself and the buyers. Please consider Amos if you are thinking of selling. The whole team are caring, polite and courteous. They showed enthusiasm when conducting viewings of my home, which had various offers within 2 weeks of being on the market. The photographs taken were so professional.

From the very first moment Alex Durden came to value our property, his passion and enthusiasm really stood out. He always had time for us and consistently went above and beyond to offer guidance, advice, and — most importantly — reassurance throughout the whole process. Selling a home can be stressful, but Alex made us feel supported every step of the way. Jane was also incredible from start to finish. Her kind words and calm, friendly manner made such a difference during what could have been a very overwhelming time. She made every viewing feel friendly, relaxed and positive, always ensuring there was no pressure at all. Jane kept us feeling optimistic and confident, and we always felt she genuinely cared about getting the right result for us, not just a quick sale.
