The entire process was transparent and clear, with no grey areas. Having had a different experience with another agent in the past, I knew I would appreciate this. John not only spent a lot of time on the central aspects of the purchase, but also supported me with the preliminaries (e.g. finding the right insurance). Thanks also to the whole team. Highly recommended!
22nd Jul 2026 (12 days ago)My mum was trialing a care home so we needed to get valuations in case we had to sell her property quickly to pay for her long term care. Lisa was very understanding of the situation, offered an honest valuation and regularly checked in with us so see how mum was getting on during her care home trial. Mum decided she wasn't quite ready for care home life and wanted to return and stay in her own home but we appreciated the service abd attention we received ftom Lisa.

12th Jul 2026 (22 days ago)This is an amazing estate agents, they are so efficient, friendly and helpful. We had a great experience buying our first home because of Ross. He is exceptionally good at what he does, we couldn’t recommend him enough. He would provide regular updates and got things done so quickly for us. He’s extremely easy to talk to and always goes above and beyond for clients. Overall this experience was made 10 times less stressful because of the perfect service we received from him!

Jamie was great during the negotiation phase, and extremely helpful and remained available until the very end. Leanne kept the progress going very smoothly, and was also always available to explain and assist with things we did not understand. Finally, if you need a Mortgage broker i would highly recommend Nicki who works independently inside Woodbury Homes - Her expertise and connections saved our purchase!
16th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Had an amazing afternoon tea experience. It is very expensive, but worth it if you are on a vacation or special trip! You get refills of all sandwiches/scones/pastries included in the price. I asked for extra scones to take home with me to my hotel for breakfast the next morning (they were the best scones I’ve ever had with delicious clotted cream and jam) and they happily did so in a beautiful packaged box - at no extra charge. The food and service are top notch

Made us feel very comfortable and overall top bloke.<br>Clare was helping us move forward once offer was accepted and she was brilliant, kept us constantly in the loop and chasing both solicitors for answers.<br>Overall great experience with Maddison Fox.

If I could give 11 stars I would!<br><br>I recently had the best experience with the William h Brown team in Harlow especially Amber, Chloe, Holly and James! They really took the time to understand what I needed and went above to help me ensure I got the perfect place for me. I can’t have asked for a more well rounded group of people. From the very first phone call with Holly and Chloe (full of warmth, care and really hearing me as a client and as person) too meeting Amber (who is just the best, full of kindness but also just knowing her stuff! As well as being attentive/understanding of what a client truly needs to be happy in a property)- to asking James some more questions about bits and bobs; honestly the whole experience was truly how it should be pleasant, simple, clean and reassuring when needed! They take the time and put in the energy and care to make you feel seen and heard for exactly what you’re looking for!<br><br>Honestly anyone looking for a property in Essex needs to go to them, I even recommended them to a lady in my old building because honestly I believe they are just that great!<br><br>No rushing, no stress , just nice, honest, caring and efficient people - I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Their overall manager should be so incredibly proud of them- a wonderful set of people!!

He was fantastic at communicating with everyone and the vendor offering honest and transparent advice.<br><br>They say an estate agent's real work starts after the sale is agreed to keep all parties posted, and Philip did this brilliantly. We always knew exactly where we stood despite the complexities, highly recommend.

Throughout the process, there was a noticeable lack of transparency and clear communication, which made what should have been a straightforward experience far more stressful than necessary.<br><br>I found the level of professionalism to be below the standard I would expect from an estate agency. Information was not always communicated openly, and I was left feeling that honesty and transparency were not prioritised when dealing with my concerns.<br><br>It also appeared that some members of staff were not adequately trained or empowered to handle issues effectively. Rather than resolving problems confidently, matters were often passed around or left unresolved, resulting in unnecessary delays and frustration.<br><br>Perhaps most concerning was the apparent lack of accountability from senior management. Despite raising concerns, I did not feel that the directors demonstrated a genuine commitment to addressing the underlying issues or ensuring that the business operates to a consistently high standard.<br><br>Based on my experience, I cannot recommend William Rose. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and used to improve staff training, communication, transparency, and overall customer service for future clients.

8th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)Instructed Dan on a probate property. From start to finish Dan did everything he could to make the process seamless and easy for us. Excellent photos and marketing resulted in four offers within three weeks. Dan looked after every aspect of the sale and even provided a central heating contact when the boiler needed replacing before sale. Couldn't praise him highly enough for the quality of the service and his professionalism.

22nd Jul 2026 (12 days ago)Daniel Frank have been great throughout our buying process from our initial viewings of a few houses listed with them to helping us make an offer (and subsequently exchange) on our dream property that had come off the market. Alex in particular was very helpful throughout and helped massively with nudging solicitors and on all sides to ensure the process to exchange was on track. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for a purchase and am v confident they’d be just as excellent for a sale and will certainly come to them if we ever sell!
27th Jul 2026 (7 days ago)Our experience with this estate agent was extremely disappointing. We found Arun to be unprofessional and lacking in transparency throughout the process. Communication was poor, and we were left feeling misled and unfairly treated. Overall, we have no confidence in the way our purchase was handled and would not recommend this estate agent based on our experience.<br>This was by far the worst estate agent I’ve ever dealt with. I found the whole process lacking in transparency. I was also concerned that the AML checks were carried out through a company connected to the agent’s wife, without this being made clear upfront. Charging £300 each ( most estate agents charge £36). When we questioned this it was brought down to £150. They also wanted us to pay a deposit. The contract was not clear if we would get back.<br><br>The most upsetting part was that, while we were in the property viewing it again, we later discovered it had been sold to another buyer for just £3,000 more. We felt completely misled and extremely disappointed by how the situation was handled.<br><br>Based on our experience, I would not recommend using this estate agent.

From the very beginning, Martine Hamilton kept us informed at every stage of the process, which made what can often be a stressful and uncertain time feel much more manageable. Whenever we had questions for the sellers, or needed updates from the solicitors, Martine was straight onto it, chasing things up and coming back to us with quick, clear responses. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her, and she clearly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible.<br><br>We’d also like to thank Svetlana, who showed us the property, for being so helpful and welcoming from the very first viewing. Her knowledge of the property and the local area gave us real confidence in our decision, and she made the whole viewing experience a pleasure.<br><br>Having such a reliable and proactive team behind us made an enormous difference, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better people to guide our son through buying his new home.
