Searching for a new home is even more stressful…<br><br>Last year, while searching for a new home in the Cotswolds, we had the good fortune to meet Tanya Hall from Carter Jonas Oxford. As well as having an incredible ability to showcase special properties, she is a master in the art of matchmaking tenants to landlords. She innately understands that for certain properties it is all about the relationship rather than simply getting a “deal” done.<br><br>Tanya was remarkably thoughtful and adept at helping us get to know our landlord and her team during the vetting phase. She was clear, transparent and always available to guide us through the process. At every point of the negotiation we felt heard and understood by Tanya.<br><br>Now almost a year into our tenancy, we could not be happier with our decision and as a distinct bonus, our landlords have become dear friends.<br><br>We could not be more thrilled with Tanya’s level of service. We would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a new dream home in the Cotswolds.

My children have grown, I’ve grown, and life has changed. With our family’s needs getting bigger, it was time to find a new home that would suit this next chapter of our lives.<br><br>We found that home through Nest, and then came the decision to put our own property on the market. Belle and Sara were fantastic from the start. They were professional, supportive, and made sure the photographs showcased all the hard work and love I had put into my home. The property was on the market and sold within a week!<br><br>This then created a chain of six properties. At this point, Nest had delivered everything we had initially agreed, and the legal process began.<br><br>Now, if you love efficiency, getting things done, and knowing where you stand, the legal side of moving house will certainly test your patience! ?????? It’s a long, drawn-out process, and “just hold tight” is much easier said than done.<br><br>My tip for first-time buyers? Keep chasing your solicitor! Regular check-ins are essential, as the process can take up to 16 weeks, sometimes longer. I was sitting at six months with my mortgage offer nearing its expiry, and we were still trying to get everything over the line.<br><br>This is where Nest really went above and beyond. The team didn’t just sit back and wait for things to happen. They were dedicated, proactive, and genuinely committed to helping us get our chain completed. Communication was key, and they had the ability to pick up the phone, speak directly to the people involved, and push for progress when things had stalled.<br><br>The legal process can be frustrating, especially when you feel that time is running out. My biggest lesson is to stay involved, keep asking questions, and don’t be afraid to challenge your solicitor when you need answers.<br><br>I cannot thank Sara, Debbie, Kerry, and the whole Nest team enough. We have finally EXCHANGED! ????????????<br><br>While I was in Egypt, anxiously waiting for news and worrying about my mortgage offer, Sara personally called me with the good news. That personal touch meant so much. The team were incredibly accommodating, listened to our concerns, supported us throughout, and helped us through what has been a very stressful journey.<br><br>Buying and selling a home is about so much more than bricks and mortar. It’s about your family, your future, and the memories you’re about to create. When things get difficult, having a team who genuinely cares and stands beside you makes all the difference.<br><br>Thank you, Nest, for helping us get one step closer to our new home and the next chapter for our family. We are so grateful for everything you have done and for being there when we needed you most.

He was extremely friendly, and very supportive, answering all my questions about the process along the way<br>My house sold within a week of being advertised which demonstrates Profile’s experience with the local market.<br>Extremely happy with the service and will certainly be using Profiles again in the future

From the initial valuation visit through to completion they were very professional, always easy to get in touch with via phone or email . Special mention must go to Niomi who kept me updated throughout the sales process. A highly recommended company if you're looking to sell your property.

They were proactive, communicated well and efficiently, and always brought a point of view / advised on next steps. We can’t thank the team enough for everything, particularly Emily, as well as Anya and Harry. The whole team are professional, efficient and very organised. With a large house sale (£1mil +) we needed more than just showing viewings - which is where the real benefit of Alexander’s came in - they have a big book and leveraged their contacts to secure more viewings, and where relevant introduced our house to other people that hadn’t considered it yet but met their criteria. We went from offer to exchange in 5 weeks - which feels unheard of in the UK! We honestly can’t thank the Alexander’s team enough for everything they did! And absolutely would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat - it was a smooth, efficient and well communicated process the entire time. Thank you!

It's rare that I meet someone whose knowledge of property genuinely impresses me.<br>That was my experience with Harry Wards of Wards Estate Agents. Harry has an excellent understanding of the property market, strong local connections, and a professional, proactive approach that sets him apart from many others in the industry.<br>He and his team run a tight ship, communicate well, and provide what I would consider a premium service, all at a fair and competitive price.<br>I don't give praise lightly, but I wouldn't hesitate to use Harry again in the future. In fact, if I were looking to build a property team of my own, he'd be exactly the sort of person I'd want involved.

25th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)It’s really important to find an estate agent that can market, generate interest and ultimately get that sale you are wanting and Alexander’s can do this. What most people forget about is the process from accepting that offer to completion day, which can be a long time, in a long chain, with long delays from various solicitors and issues that arise. Molly Mcbride at Alexander’s is extremely tenacious, educated and has your back all the way to the finish line. She single handedly progressed our whole chain, constantly chasing up and down, jumping over every hurdle and there was a few! Had we chosen another estate agent I would still be waiting to exchange, it’s opened my eyes into how important it is to make sure you instruct the right estate agent with the right people. Thank you so much Molly!

During what I can only describe as the most difficult of house selling journeys. From start to finish they have been friendly, approachable, personable, contactable, reactive… the list could go on! I couldn’t have picked a better agent and words don’t do the level of service that they have provided justice…!
