Really efficient, always giving updates, always available on phone or email and happy to respond to queries. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future. Thank you so much for making our buying experience so smooth. Although we weren’t your client you really looked after us and made us feel valued.

29th May 2026 (20 days ago)I wouldn’t personally recommend dealing with this estate agent based on my experience. The property was described as being from a “quality builder”, but that didn’t stack up when I actually viewed them. There were issues that hadn’t been mentioned beforehand, which left me feeling like the listings didn’t give an accurate picture of what you’re walking into. Viewings themselves weren’t particularly useful. The agent seemed to have very little understanding of the properties and couldn’t answer basic questions, which made the whole process feel like a bit of a waste of time. Getting hold of anyone was also a challenge. Calls weren’t returned, and when I did get through, the interaction felt more like I was being brushed off than actually helped. The tone came across as quite condescending at times, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Overall, it felt like dealing with a small operation without the structure, preparation, or professionalism you tend to get from more established agents. There just didn’t seem to be the systems or attention to detail you’d expect when making such an important decision. My experience was also a long way off what some of the more positive reviews suggest, which I found hard to understand given the issues I encountered. I’d suggest anyone considering using them does their own due diligence and doesn’t rely solely on what’s presented. Disappointing, and not something I’d choose to repeat.

Benton's managed to get our house on the market in record time, we honestly didn’t think it was possible. The whole team brought so much enthusiasm, pushed when needed, and helped put us in a strong position to secure the offer on our dream home. Helped with enquiries, chased solicitors when needed and been really helpful.

23rd May 2026 (26 days ago)We were due to move into a property managed through Genie Homes on 22 May 2026. The tenancy agreement had been signed and completed, and we had arranged our family move around that date. On the morning we were meant to move in, we were told by text message that the landlord had changed her mind and that we could no longer move into the property. This left us in an extremely difficult position as a family. Our home was packed, we had already made arrangements connected to the move, including our son’s school transport, and we were left trying to work out where we were going to live at very short notice. Our son has Down syndrome and significant additional needs, so the sudden uncertainty and disruption caused a huge amount of stress for us. Although some staff members tried to help afterwards, the overall handling of the situation felt very unprofessional and lacked proper accountability. We had to keep chasing for updates, requested calls from senior management that did not happen, and were left in limbo when we needed clear communication and practical support. Based on our experience, I would not recommend using this company.

Any problems there on the ball and they are very on top of everything. From someone who thought these companies were all the same now I’ve seen both ends of the spectrum it’s definetly a huge difference and plus

18th May 2026 (4 weeks ago)They were my buyers agents, so selling the house a step down the chain. However my agents were just terrible! These guys did a brill job of chasing information that wasn’t being passed to them. To the point that I had to call round branches untill I found them and supply the information directly. After that they became my first call for up dates on how the chain was progressing as my agents didn’t have a clue!!! I’ll be using them next time!

Despite numerous challenges that were no fault of hers, Vicky remained positive and professional at all times. She was upbeat, solution focussed and never once lost heart or patience with me. You only find out how good someone is when they come up against a problem and I can tell you - Vicky and the team at Maynard’s are absolutely first class!
