Awful experience - whatever you do, don't use them, go elsewhere and save yourself some stress! They charge a deposit when signing up, which upon completion they conveniently forget about and try to charge you again! Despite me flagging this up and them acknowledging the deposit was paid, they somehow forgot this and still charged me again. Nearly 2 months later they still haven't given me the money back. I imagine they try this with a lot of people, hoping in the time it takes to sell a house and complete that customers may forget or not check all the billing from the solicitor. They Also delivered a very poor service once I had accepted an offer, and the manager of this office changes his answers so ensure you have anything you need in writing from him if you have gone with them! (Blamed poor service and communication on the solicitors saying I didn't use the recommended ones, but he recommended them!) I think their head office really need to do a full investigation of this branch and the unprofessional working practices they have.... Read more

The Morley branch leave a lot to be desired, unprofessional management & staff. Untruths being told to myself being the vendor & to potential buyers. Staff do not turn up to meet potential buyers, instead they leave them freezing on the street and they lie about meeting times. All promises and no delivery. I would never recommend Reeds Rains. No official complaints procedure and no contact at head office to escalate genuine concerns. Management at branch level never return contact. 0/10... Read more

My wife and I had been living in one of Moores rented properties for just over 8 years and from start to finish, Moores were fantastic. We never had any major issues and any problems (general war and tear on the property) were promptly dealt with and resolved. The service, professionalism and friendliness of the staff was always top notch. It was great dealing with actual "people" rather than a nameless corporation or huge faceless chains that I've dealt with before. I would go with Moores again in a heartbeat should the opportunity arise.... Read more

We have rented a property from moores for 4 years, lovely house, rubbish management. We had damp on the walls, reported it, nothing happened, reported again, nothing happened. 6 months later the landlady came round and questioned the damp as she had given moores permission to treat it when we first complained 6 months previously but Moores did not act on this. They do not communicate with each other and you are constantly passed from person to person. When Moores staff were in the property alone some of personal belongings were broken and expensive curtains were painted on, when we complained they said it wasn't their responsibility as it was a handy man they hired, so we banned them from being in the house alone, which they did not respect. While living in the house it was put up for sale, we were not informed of this just came home to a for sale sign- again showing no respect for us- and when viewings were booked no one from moores came to show people round, leaving it to me which I felt inappropriate. Overall I would not recommend moores to anyone and the only reason I have given 1 star is because the house itself was nice. They are not reliable, they are disrespectful and most staff are flat out rude.... Read more

Highly recommend. Great service from instruction to sale of the property. They have kept me informed with updates two or three times each week. An easy to use portal and work hard to sell the home. Not the cheapest agent available but they also offer to do viewings, which seems to becoming harder to find with all the online agents. House sold subject to contract within 3 or 4 weeks. Happy with the price as well.... Read more

Where do I even start with this company. The service I received during check-in was second to none, a lady called Charley (who no longer works for Let Leeds) arranged my tenancy, was available for any questions that I had prior to moving in and genuinely couldn't do enough for me. I rented a place for 10 months with Let Leeds, towards the end of my tenancy is where the problems started. I called Let Leeds 6 weeks prior to the end of my tenancy to inform them that I would be moving out. That's when my issues began. The majority of my issues were caused by an extremely unprofessional property consultant called Ashleigh and a branch manager called Josh. Josh arranged an inspection prior to the property being re-listed. My girlfriend was staying with me on the day of the inspection and arranged to be out of the property for two hours to enable Josh to carry out his inspection. He failed to turn up & didn't inform me of this until the day after the inspection was due to take place. He offered no apology for the inconvenience. Multiple times they called me to arrange a viewing at the property without giving me 24 hours notice, on occasion as little as one or two hours notice. They would often guilt trip me into accepting this viewing as it'd be too difficult for them to re-arrange it. A couple of days before moving out I realised that I hadn't had any communication from them regarding where to take my keys when I moved out or what the process was for moving out. I called them to ask & was promptly sent a letter via email that should've been sent a month prior. On the check-out report they mixed up the two bedrooms and accused me of staining the carpet and removing the curtains in one bedroom when the exact same stain had been recorded on the check-in report. They also accused me of cracking a freezer drawer which they had pictured on the check-in report but not noted as a fault. When I tried to point this out to Ashleigh she refused to acknowledge that she had made a mistake and ignored any contact that I tried to make with her by either not responding to my emails or hanging up on me when I called the office and asked to be transferred to her line. Ashleigh gave me an incorrect final electricity meter reading that suggested I had a pre-payment meter (it was an economy 7 meter) and a reading that suggested I hadn't used any electricity during the entirety of my tenancy. She refused to re-take the reading that needed to be correct to enable the energy company to give me an accurate final bill. Every time I called or emailed to chase this she either hung up on me or didn't respond to my email. They charged me a £60 check-out fee despite this now being illegal under new legislation introduced in June 2019. It took them around 4 weeks after moving out to get the portion of my deposit back that wasn't in dispute. I complained (twice) to their official complaints mailbox and was contacted via email by the branch manager (Josh) who told me I would receive a call from him to discuss my complaint. He failed to call on both occasions, I get the feeling he was trying to show his superiors that he had resolved the complaint without actually doing anything. He did eventually call, but to discuss the return of my deposit (that I had already received). He had absolutely no idea what was going on and tried to give me a number of generic excuses to explain the issues that I was facing (including generic 'system' errors). I've rented properties for around 8 years in both a student and professional capacity, Let Leeds are without a doubt the most awkward, excuse-driven, difficult & unprofessional letting agency that I have ever dealt with. I wouldn't even recommend using them as a last resort.... Read more

Ernest Wilson Business Agents A big shout out to Vanessa Lennon of Ernest Wilson...This wonderful lady is a star!!! Me and my wife dealt with her on planning to buy a business and she did it as simple as it can be but our circumstances changes after we made our deposit..thinking that we cannot get our money back, I called her and explained everything and without any hesitation on her part saying that our money can be refunded...and just after two day's, we received a letter from Ernest Wilson saying that our money has already been refunded with the direct debit receipt attached to it. The level of service that we received from this company was excellent plus the outstanding professionalism of Vanessa Lennon. We highly recommend Ernest Wilson to anybody who wants to start on something...and most definitely recommend Vanessa to be your Sales Negotiator.... Read more

Do not instruct..first time writting a negative review. Charge a lot of hidden fees. My business up for sale for over 2 years, didn't sell. Still they feel the need to charge £3500. When asked for breakdown came back with advertising costs????. Not helpful when trying to explain situation.... Read more
