Nicola was Fantastic! The best sales progressor I have dealt with across my previous 3 house purchases and sales. She was on the ball with chasing solicitors (there was a lot of this required) and providing updates and provided a really high quality service! Thank you both for all of your help.

22nd Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Kate came out to value our property and we instantly warmed to her, she was so polite and Professional and by far gave us the most information on the local market out of all the other agents. We really felt she listened to us and what we needed, we didn’t feel hurried or rushed, which was very important for us. The rest of the team have been so supportive and kind, we really appreciate everything they did for us. Thank you again, I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Throughout the whole process of selling our property everyone has been extremely professional, friendly and helpful. A big thanks goes out to everyone, Justin, Thomas, Abby, Nick and I must reserve a special thank you to the amazing Lisa.<br><br>It has been a long and stressful process, not only were we relocating away from the area but we also lost our original buyer the day before exchange. The team where so proactive and we had a new buyer within 48 hours and ensured we did not loose the house we were purchasing.<br><br>From day one Lisa has worked tirelessly to ensure that the chain moved along as quickly and as smoothly as possible. Keeping us regularly updated, and offered amazing support and advice when at times things became quite stressful. My levels of anxiety would have been much higher if it had not been for Lisa!<br><br>Thank you, our new adventure begins and I'm so pleased we chose Homes in Alton to help us achieve it!

28th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)They listed my4 bed detached dormer bungalow as a 4 bed detached HOME!!! SO I didn’t get any viewings for 10 week as google does not recognise home on any search engine it Could be found under properties but buyers only looking for bungalows could not find us!! I found out by distant friend trying to find bungalows online. They relaunched but missed summer buyers. Tied into 20week contract and cost me £354 to cancel -nightmare scenario for me.

22nd Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Your staff Mr. O R failed to do what promised me on Sept 21, 23 so I sent a reminder email on Oct 4, 23 and you told me that on Oct 5, 23 you cannot recognize the very google account I sent gmail to info@bowsonproperty.co.uk<br><br>Very good.<br><br>IF you rent a house from this agent, remember to have no trust on the staff to do what they promised and keep sending email to everyone until it was done.
19th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Staff were exceptional from the first meeting for the valuation through to dropping the keys off when sale completed,,everything was explained at each stage and Alison was the go between towards the end who dealt with every solicitors enquiry etc taking the hassle of of me worrying about it

20th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)Terrible experience trying to buy a property through Hive Estates. We were set on buying a Sandyford flat and ready to offer significantly above asking price, but there was a serious rising damp problem in the hallway, which they initially tried to hide when we viewed the property. It had been superficially patched so we asked for details on the diagnosis of the problem and any work that had been done. The estate agent who showed us round had zero information on the property, for the issue or more broadly. The wider team refused to share any further information, saying the owner of the flat had "no idea" what the issue was diagnosed as and what the work, and that there was no documentation because a "property manager had fixed the issue" not the owner.<br><br>They also lied initially. They said that the issue had only been fixed three weeks ago, hence the smell of damp throughout the property, but when we spoke to someone on the phone they said it was fixed 10 months prior.<br><br>We actually made clear that the damp wasn't a dealbreaker, and that we just needed to go round with a surveyor or even just a damp metre - they blocked us and wouldn't allow it.<br><br>Everyone we dealt with seemed fresh out of school and were winging it. I struggled to get in contact even when putting an offer in and had to ring multiple times a day.

23rd Oct 2026 (12 days ago)Awfully managed estate agent, will ignore you when you tell them multiple times that you are renewing your tenancy and will continue to organize viewings in which people would use a key to come in without knocking. Upon signing our tenancy renewal, two months after we had asked them multiple times to do so, Chloe took so long to sign her part, the document expired and we had to do it again!<br><br>They have been a bit better this year, actually sending emails when someone needs access to the property, however, we were given less than 24h notice that a photographer would be coming to take pictures of our flat. This photographer let himself in without knocking 20 minutes early without saying a word to either of us.<br><br>Brunton really lacks respect for the tenants it’s renting to, our landlord is also using Greetham Gilbert to market the house; Greetham Gilbert have been nothing but friendly and respectful of our privacy, waiting 5 minutes if we are not ready, emails of viewings sent a week in advance. If you want an estate agent to manage your student property do not choose Brunton Residential, it is ran awfully!

Nothing is too much trouble, with all team members going above and beyond to help you achieve your desired result. I can not rate this company highly enough - Becky is extremely efficient with paperwork and Matt a joy to work with, with his tireless ability to crash through any obstacle that may present itself. This company is outstanding and is a cut above all the rest at every turn. A company to watch, no question. We are so very grateful.
