Nicola was in contact with both solicitors and made sure that the whole process ran smoothly and everyone was on the ball. Great team and if I ever have to sell a property again, I will happily use Temme English.
8th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)I can highly recommend Pattinson Estate Agents for a great local service. We found everyone we spoke to at the Wallsend branch, and auction team, to be friendly and professional - and our valuer Josh Cowey, was especially helpful and knowledgeable.<br>As we live out of the area, we depended on additional services from Pattinsons, such as - getting the EPC arranged, and accompanied viewings. Updates on potential buyer feedback and viewings were provided regularly, and it was useful getting text reminders whenever a viewing was scheduled.<br><br>One note of caution though - we were not happy at all with BridgeView Law (formerly Butterworths), who Pattinson recommended for our conveyancing. We received little-to-no communication from this firm, and our completion date was delayed by almost 3 weeks as a result. We have listed again with Pattinson's on another property but we will not be using BridgeView again.

He kept us updated, dealt with the issues that arose and helped move the sale through to completion. It was an emotional sale for our family, and I appreciated the support and communication from Andrew and the team. We got there in the end, and I would happily recommend J G Sawyers.

She provided excellent and empathetic support and truly understood how deeply emotionally and challenging time it was for us and helped us throughout the process. She was on hand to discuss anything that arose and handled unexpected hurdles with professionalism that made a world of difference. She made this process so easy and would wholeheartedly recommend Liane at cloud estates when selling your property.

From the first valuation of our flat in Heaton, we were immediately struck by his personal approach and his unparalleled understanding of the local market. From marketing to sales progression, he supported us perfectly and made himself very available. Although our chain didn’t work out as we would have liked, Noel went above and beyond to offer calm, honest, and expert advice and to keep things moving forward. He has been incredibly supportive throughout a stressful situation. An absolute professional who genuinely looks after his clients and goes the extra mile. We will approach Noel for our future sale without any hesitation.

18th Jul 2026 (16 days ago)This has genuinely been the worst experience I have ever had with any estate agent. Having been both a homeowner, a landlord and a tenant over the years, I have dealt with plenty of property professionals. I have never experienced a company that has caused this level of unnecessary stress, frustration and conflict.<br><br>Throughout my tenancy, repairs that were clearly the landlord's responsibility were repeatedly delayed despite constant chasing. When contractors were finally instructed, some later contacted me directly because they were struggling to get paid by Bourne and asked me to assist. I also found myself repeatedly having to defend myself against accusations that I had failed to communicate with contractors or had somehow caused delays. On more than one occasion I had to produce complete email chains, WhatsApp messages and text conversations to demonstrate that what I was being accused of was simply incorrect.<br><br>The end of my tenancy has been even worse. I have repeatedly been told that I am contractually required to do things that, after carefully reviewing my signed tenancy agreement, simply are not required.<br><br>Whenever I have challenged these demands, instead of receiving a professional explanation, I have felt intimidated, spoken down to and placed under unnecessary pressure. Time and time again I have had to refer Bourne back to their own tenancy agreement and provide documentary evidence to correct information I had been given. No tenant should have to spend their time proving that an estate agent is wrong about the very contract they are administering.<br><br>The overwhelming impression throughout my tenancy has been an organisation more interested in creating pressure than resolving problems. Rather than acting as a professional intermediary between landlord and tenant, I have found Bourne to be confrontational, dismissive and, at times, wholly unreasonable.<br><br>My advice to anyone considering using Bourne Estate Agents is simple: keep every conversation in writing, retain every email, text message and WhatsApp conversation, and read your tenancy agreement yourself rather than relying on what you are told. In my experience, it is the only way to protect yourself.<br><br>Without question, this has been the most stressful and disappointing experience I have ever had with an estate agent, and I would never choose to use Bourne Estate Agents again or recommend them to anyone.

Our home went on the market 3 times after buyers pulling out and each time they were straight into action getting it sorted for us. From the minute I enquired they were straight round, with the most competitive fee, and the house was on the market within the week. It took us over a year start to finish to sell, and knowing we were also looking to buy a new house they were always sending us possible properties and I just felt like they were really rooting for us. Particular shoutout to Sarah for her unwavering advice, Ellie and Emma for always being at the end of the phone, and Allison for handling the sale. Our sale wasn’t easy but they made us feel like we were all in it together and I can’t thank them enough. Even now, after we have sold and are still looking for a new house, they have kept us in mind for everything they list. Absolute stars. Thank you!!! Rebecca and Liam xx

29th Jul 2026 (5 days ago)This is the second time I’ve used Hive to sell a property in Heaton. Again the experience has been really smooth and the sale completed within 3months. The staff are all great and really responsive. Photos are always fantastic, and they were spot on with the valuation to achieve the best price. Huge thank you again!
27th Jul 2026 (7 days ago)Really confused as to why this estate agents has so many good reviews when I have received such an unprofessional service. Booked a valuation and my appointment was changed and I was emailed without asking if that was okay. When I queried this they reverted back to my original appointment. Then the estate agent didn’t show up for the valuation so I called and had the response ‘we had emailed to change the appointment time to an hour later’ which they hadn’t. They did attend the valuation all be it 30 minutes late. I was surprised no research on the area had been done prior as all previous valuers from other estate agents normally come with research and provide the value on the spot. When I received the valuation, the fee was incorrect. I then booked photographs of my property to be taken. I was then emailed with a rearrangement again (without consent) with less than 48 hours notice to the new appointment, given that the original booking was 2 weeks away. When I queried this, I was told this was an error.. yet another excuse. When I rang up to cancel moving forward with this estate agent, I explained the reasons why and the receptionist on the phone said ‘ok I’ll cancel it’ and just hung up, with no goodbye or acknowledgement, which is incredibly rude. I must point our that all our experiences with this estate agent were certainly one of the best. I can confirm they were professional in every sense. Together with a sense of duty to their clients. I can recommend this estate agent without any hesitation. May I take this opportunity to wish them all the very best for the future. 17th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.
