From the very beginning, she was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to help us secure our tenancy.<br><br>What really stood out was how helpful, attentive and reassuring she was throughout the entire process. She always kept in touch, kept us updated at every stage and made sure we never felt like we were left wondering what was happening. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble for her.<br><br>Moving and securing a new home can be stressful, but Alicia genuinely made the whole experience feel so much easier and smoother. You can tell she really cares about the people she’s helping, rather than just treating you like another application.<br><br>We’re so grateful for everything she did for us and couldn’t recommend her enough. 14th Aug 2026 (8 weeks ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.
24th Sep 2026 (15 days ago)Unfortunately, my experience with Churchill & Mathesons Estate Agents has been disappointing, particularly with the condition of the property at the start of the tenancy and the handling of concerns afterwards.<br><br>When I moved in, the flat did not appear to have been properly checked or prepared following the previous tenancy. There were loose and unstable pieces of furniture, including furniture with visible mould, and mould was also present on the wall behind a cabinet. The carpet was visibly very dirty, along with various other cleanliness issues throughout the property. I have photographs documenting the condition when I moved in.<br><br>I was initially told that the carpet simply needed to be washed. I subsequently had to request that the property be cleaned again. To their credit, Churchill & Mathesons eventually managed to persuade the landlord to replace the carpets, which I appreciated. However, this was only after the issue had been raised and pursued.<br><br>What I found particularly disappointing was the attitude during the initial discussions about these issues. I was told, in effect, that at £2,000 per month in this area I was lucky to get the property for that price. I found this unhelpful and, as a tenant, I don’t believe the rental price should determine the standard of presentation expected when moving into a property.<br><br>My experience with the property management side has also been disappointing. When raising concerns, I have found the communication to be quite dismissive and lacking in empathy. I appreciate that property management involves dealing with numerous issues, but from a tenant’s perspective, how concerns are handled makes a significant difference.<br><br>Overall, I would have expected the property to have been properly checked, cleaned and prepared before the start of the tenancy, and I would have expected concerns raised afterwards to be dealt with in a more understanding and constructive manner.<br><br>I am leaving this review based on my personal experience and have photographs documenting the condition of the property when I received it. I hope Churchill & Mathesons will take the feedback constructively and improve both the preparation of properties between tenancies and the way tenant concerns are handled afterwards.

He makes way to solve any issue that will be in the way of achieving completion, he is reliable, professional and really just makes things happen. He looks on all possible routes to sell. The comms before, during and after signing the contract was great. Zach and Rana have both been great throughout the process. Would recommend to a friend or a foe.
28th Sep 2026 (11 days ago)We just ended a two-year tenancy in Akers Court Waltham Cross. Rent paid on time throughout. Got flat professionally cleaned and photographed on exit (see snaps).<br><br>Alex Crown proposed £895 (!) of deposit deductions, including £275 for cleaning, without providing supporting quotes or invoices at that stage, and only after failing to respond to our DPS repayment request.<br><br>We have had to use the DPS statutory declaration process.<br><br>In my experience, their end-of-tenancy and deposit handling has been poor and unnecessarily adversarial. Prospective tenants should document everything carefully and factor this into their choice of agent. I would not rent through them again.

He is knowledgeable, responsive and pragmatic, and has been particularly helpful whenever we’ve needed advice or support with our rental property.<br><br>Fraser is also very personable and straightforward to work with, which makes a real difference. We’ve always felt we can pick up the phone or drop him an email and get sensible, helpful advice. Very happy to recommend him.

Jakub was amazing, he did all the viewings and answered all my questions. He was an excellent communicator with all agencies, solicitors and those viewing my property. Jakub was so knowledge about the area, he was also very confident in directing myself and the solicitors in the right direction. Having been frustrated with my solicitor on many occasions Jakub was calm and sorted things so professionally.<br>I know he also sold the flats either side of me at the same time. They were all very pleased and he made sure my friends/ neighbours found just the right flat to rent once their landlord sold. I would highly recommend SAB Estate Agents. All the people I spoke to there were really reassuring and clear.
