30th Jan 2020 (6 years ago)Martyn was very helpful upon my move in and viewing. However when it was time for me to move out, they withheld some of my deposit money because the property wasn't clean enough. I didn't complain when upon my move in the floor was as dirty as the grount outside, but now I got charged money because I didn't clean? They even provided pictures about how it wasn't "clean". There was no dirt on the pictures.

15th Jul 2026 (13 days ago)I recently purchased a property in Church Street, Hungerford, and the entire process was handled professionally from start to finish.<br>All queries, requests for updates were dealt with swiftly and in a friendly manner, no request was too much for either Mark and Russel.<br>I felt well supported during what can often be a stressful process and in particular a very difficult time personally for me.<br><br>The property itself has exceeded my expectation. It is a characterful home, located in a fantastic position within the heart of Hungerford. I am delighted with my new home although it needed a complete renovation, having been empty for such a long time.<br><br>Thank you to Mark and Russel for helping make the purchase a positive experience.

I cannot rate or recommend them highly enough - Lorraine really went over and above for us, staying on top of people who needed a chase (which was quite a bit with our purchase) - she'd regularly done the chasing before I even needed to ask, she helped us following a survey, and ensured we secured the completion dates we needed. She was highly responsive, even replying outside of office hours! She made the whole process as smooth as possible. The service from start to finish felt personal - we felt valued and really looked after throughout. We moved from London so are totally new to the area and Lorraine has already offered to help with any queries or recommendations we have about Newbury or the property. 10/10 in every way - thank you again to the team at H&W!

Modern thinking has thankfully come up with methods to counteract and reduce stress in our lives. Deep breathing, yoga, music etc all help however for your home move the only thing you need is KATIE from Strutt Parker. Our journey started a few years back with a friendly and professional visit from the SP team. Despite being at the lower end of the market we were very impressed with the advice and services offered and despite a volatile market a buyer was found. Unfortunately due to bad survey we were forced to pull out of our purchase and subsequently our chain collapsed despite the best efforts from Katie. Despite the massive disappointment Katie was so supportive and understanding of the situation. There was no question of who we would call when we were ready to market again. 18 months later Katie was again amazing when we called and a pragmatic and honest conversation about the market was had and we were back on. Despite the market, we found ourselves with 3 offers within days and the advice and understanding of our views and thinking was evident in Katie when deciding which option to take. Katie managed the sale with professionalism and determination and got us through the process with speed, efficiency and understanding. We highly recommend Katie to manage your next house sale.

Always dealt with any issues straight away. Being a tenant with Henwick was easier than being a homeowner because I never had to worry about anything. They just sorted everything out for me.
