However when it was time for me to move out, they withheld some of my deposit money because the property wasn't clean enough. I didn't complain when upon my move in the floor was as dirty as the grount outside, but now I got charged money because I didn't clean? They even provided pictures about how it wasn't "clean". There was no dirt on the pictures.

Selling my late mother’s house was naturally an emotional process, but the whole team were compassionate, professional and supportive throughout.<br><br>A special mention goes to Alex, who went above and beyond at every stage. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his communication, kindness and dedication made a difficult time much easier to navigate.<br><br>The sale was handled efficiently and with genuine care, and I always felt I was in safe hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Hillier & Wilson again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent in Newbury and surrounding areas.

1st May 2026 (15 weeks ago)Whiteknights failed to progress the sale of our property up until the last minute when it collapsed due to them not checking a basic fact such as the buyers giving their two-month notice to their landlord. The buyers pulled out on account of having to pay £887 extra on a half a million pound purchase to meet a completion date the whole chain had agreed to extend at the buyers request. Whiteknights did not check they had served their notice on time to meet the completion date, did not inform us they hadn't, they just informed us last minute when the sale ultimately collapsed. We're left to remarket the house now after 6 months in this process and to continue incurring costs, as well as breaking two separate chains. Still stunned by how utterly appalling Whiteknights have been.

Thanks to Luke and Dan’s proactive and strategic approach to marketing, our property was actually sold prior to going on Rightmove, before photos were even taken!<br><br>Once the sale was agreed, the exceptional service continued. Chanelle kept us promptly updated throughout the entire transaction, ensuring everything progressed smoothly and keeping our minds at ease.<br><br>We have nothing but good words to say about the entire team. We highly recommend Parker’s, and we will definitely be using them again in the future!

He provided a realistic valuation, provide a swift marketing service, having gone live on Monday, with two viewings within 24 hours and several scheduled for that week, both initial viewings yielded offers, one of which was at the full asking price. Property sold subject to contract as at 30 May 2026 I would highly recommend Charlton Grace, Mark has provided a bespoke/specialised service with clear communication and professionalism all at a very competitive agency rate, excellent job to date. Always dealt with any issues straight away. Being a tenant with Henwick was easier than being a homeowner because I never had to worry about anything. They just sorted everything out for me.
