The property was handed to us in a great condition. Ines and Sean have been really helpful in communication and checking in between us and the sellers. We are really happy with this purchase.
14th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

They have subsequently also helped sell the flat, and again were top notch all the way. If you're looking for a trusted partner, this is the right team.

Whenever I had any questions, concerns or maintenance issues during my tenancy, the team responded very quickly and made sure everything was dealt with promptly. I really appreciated that I never had to keep chasing them — they were always responsive and helpful.<br><br>Everyone I dealt with was very friendly, polite and approachable, which made the whole renting experience much easier and less stressful. It was clear that they genuinely cared about resolving any issues and making sure everything was running smoothly.<br><br>They also use the Goodlord platform, which made the tenancy process, documents and payments straightforward and well organised. At the end of my tenancy, the checkout and deposit return process was also handled without any problems.<br><br>Overall, I was very happy renting through this company. The team were professional, reliable and pleasant to deal with throughout my tenancy. Thank you to everyone there for making my experience so positive. I would happily rent through them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable letting agency

The team was professional, responsive and very helpful from start to finish.<br><br>They made the process smooth and straightforward, from finding tenants and handling the paperwork to supporting me throughout the tenancy. Communication was always clear and efficient whenever I needed help.

As we moved from Germany to London for the first time, the process of searching for a home and completing all the necessary paperwork initially felt quite daunting. However, McMahon made the entire experience smooth and straightforward. Our agent, Serwan, conducted a detailed viewing via video call, shared all relevant information upfront, and guided us seamlessly through the contract process. We were particularly impressed with: 1) The thoroughness and professionalism of the paperwork and inventory check conducted by McMahon, which ensured fairness for both the landlord and the tenant. 2) The prompt resolution of minor issues in the property by Louise, the residential manager, who was highly responsive and efficient. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with both the property and the service provided by McMahon & Partners, and we would highly recommend them.
30th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)Worst Experience with Elliott Lettings - Please Read Before Renting<br>My close friend took house through Elliott Lettings. After they moved out, 2 months later the landlord did a full renovation of the house and put the entire bill of £3000 on them.<br>The most shocking part - NO ONE took responsibility. The Elliott agent who came for checkout told us on the spot "everything is fine". They had taken NO check-in photos, but at checkout they took hundreds of photos just to create a bill.<br>When we asked, one person said "talk to Reposit team", Reposit team said "landlord sent the bill", and the landlord never contacted us directly. Elliott agents did not let us talk to the landlord, did not listen to us, and just kept saying "go and raise a dispute".<br>We were lucky we had some of our own proofs and we disputed it through the deposit scheme. Because they had ZERO check-in proof and only checkout photos, the adjudicator rejected most of their claim and we only had to pay around £300 instead of £3000. They didn’t guide them for anything.<br>When they newly moved in, they gave them NO guidance at all for Electricity and Gas. They didn't know which supplier was at the property, where to sign in, how to set up the account, how to top up / recharge. They had to find everything and do it ourselves.<br><br>When they moved out, closed their own connection properly. Then they started spamming us with messages - "how to do recharge, how to connect gas/power". They didn't even know how their own property's electricity/gas connection works. previous tenants were using it free of cost, they had no records.<br>we would have lost £3000 for a renovation that was not our fault. No agent from Elliott took any responsibility.<br>My advice to all tenants: ALWAYS take your own check-in/check-out photos and videos, and always raise a dispute if you feel the bill is unfair. Don't trust verbal "all ok".<br><br>Very unprofessional and disappointing service.

This was not a straightforward purchase as the property was rented so access to the property was awkward to arrange and then the tenants had to be moved to allow the closing. Additionally the owner was abroad.<br><br>Justin had to work hard to make this happen but always was super responsive to me and moved mountains to help us achieve a very tight timeline so that we could achieve our deadline to complete.<br><br>Justin and Bhoday’s deep knowledge of the business and his hard working attitude is invaluable. We will be contacting Bhoday’s again for future property deals.<br><br>Jim O’Leary
