From the very beginning, they were professional, responsive, and completely committed to achieving the best possible outcome.<br><br>They worked incredibly hard throughout the process, always going above and beyond to understand what I wanted and help make it happen. Their advice, communication, and determination were exceptional, and I always felt I was in very capable hands.<br><br>Selling a property can be stressful, but Nathan and Jaylie made the whole experience feel much smoother. 21st Jul 2026 (13 days ago)Excellent team, responsive and helpful. Our property was valued and went on the market just as there was a shock to the housing market with a lot of mortgages withdrawn. Good communication, explanation and tactics were helpful. We eventually had to come down in price but still achieved a good sale price. The property is currently empty but viewings were undertaken without any problem.
26th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had a very disappointing experience with a property marketed by John D Wood & Co. Estate Agents (Wandsworth).<br><br>Initially, Poppy Martin was very helpful and responsive throughout the viewing and application process, which gave us confidence in proceeding. However, after our offer was accepted, we were informed that all payments and tenancy arrangements would be handled directly by the landlord rather than the agency. This was never made clear at the outset.<br><br>We had already submitted our personal and financial information to the agent, including payslips, bank statements, passports, proof of address, P60s, and our guarantor’s personal and financial details. Despite this, the landlord requested the same documents again, followed by further demands for over a year’s worth of our guarantor’s financial records, including payslips, bank statements, and P60s.<br><br>We also discovered that deposits were to be paid to a business account managed by a third-party company, which had not been disclosed by the agent. When we requested evidence of their data protection compliance, we were initially provided with an expired certificate and generic documents, which further undermined our confidence.<br><br>At this stage, we no longer felt comfortable sharing additional financial information. As a result, our £311 holding deposit was retained. We felt pressured into providing excessive personal data under the threat of losing our deposit.<br><br>Overall, the process lacked transparency, involved repeated requests for financial and personal information, and left us feeling misled. This was a stressful and disappointing experience, and I hope future applicants are given clearer information before committing to the process.

15th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)I would genuinely recommend using Truepenny’s Charlton if you want to sell your property. From the initial valuation (which was much more realistic that other overly inflated figures from other estate agents) the service by the team in the Charlton branch was excellent. We were trying to sell our flat in an already difficult market but Bhavi and David secured many viewings over the summer and finally an offer was made. The team were always available to help and nudge things along. I’d happily use them again.

Communication was excellent throughout, by both phone and email. Whenever cover was needed, it was always arranged and communicated in advance to ensure continuity of availability. We were kept updated proactively throughout the process, often before we’d even thought to ask. We felt genuinely supported through the entire home-buying process, from booking our first viewing right through to completion. It’s been a real pleasure having the team’s support the whole way - thank you for helping us in our first-time buying journey!

The stresses of purchasing a house were removed by the professionalism and attentiveness shown to us. If I was looking to purchase in London Joseph would be my first call.
