9th Mar 2026 (26 days ago)zero protection for tenants- 4th Jan 2026 (13 weeks ago)I have rented with several agencies in London but Oliver Brooks (now operating as Kenneth Lloyd’s) was by far the worst experience. Once the agreement was signed the agency stopped caring about the condition of the property. Imran the owner was so rude, had an attitude problem and spoke to tenants with complete disrespect. Despite repeated emails, serious maintenance issues were ignored- the kitchen exhaust never worked and I was told it was “not life-threatening” and to open a window lol. There was no cleaner, common areas were poorly maintained, the WiFi never worked properly, the fridge was broken, and bathroom windows would not close. Living there for a year was extremely stressful and moving is not easy or cheap for tenants who work hard for their money unlike Imran . I strongly recommend anyone considering this agency to read the reviews carefully before renting.
24th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)I had a very positive experience with Sovereign House agency since the day I booked a viewing appointmnt to rent my current flat. Their team is consistently responsive, very professional and supportive; ensuring everything is handled smoothly. I would particularly like to mention “Jimmy Castle”, who was exceptionally helpful and approachable. He consistently was chasing up on the issue with my flat’s ceiling for almost 2months, to ensure it is resolved as quickly as possible, which I am truly grateful. I would highly recommend Sovereign House to anyone whois looking for a reliable service.

The property was not cleaned at all upon completion, communication throughout the process was consistently poor, and they failed to return important documents relating to the new energy supplier. Wikki, in particular, was extremely unhelpful. I would not recommend using this agency for a purchase of any kind.

16th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Had an amazing afternoon tea experience. It is very expensive, but worth it if you are on a vacation or special trip! You get refills of all sandwiches/scones/pastries included in the price. I asked for extra scones to take home with me to my hotel for breakfast the next morning (they were the best scones I’ve ever had with delicious clotted cream and jam) and they happily did so in a beautiful packaged box - at no extra charge. The food and service are top notch

Mark and team in contrast lined up a tonne of viewings within days of the ad going live. I had an offer the next day. Mark kept on top of the process all the way through, oiling the wheels throughout to keep everything on track. A safe and reliable pair of hands. Definitely recommend.

Great filtering to only organise visit for serious potential buyers. Efficient follow through until from initial offer till completion. highly recommended;
30th Mar 2026 (5 days ago)I had a really bad experience with Dockland Real Estate and honestly wouldn’t recommend them. When I moved out of my room, they tried to unfairly deduct money from my deposit. One of the main issues was council tax, there were two of us living in the property on separate contracts, and even the council confirmed we shouldn’t be individually charged in that setup. Despite this, the agency still tried to take it from my deposit. They also attempted to charge a cleaning fee even though I left the place clean. When I asked for proof or a receipt, they couldn’t provide anything. I ended up taking the case to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS), which took a few months, but in the end I got all of my money back. That says a lot. What made things worse is that afterwards, when I needed a reference for a new place, they either refused to provide one or gave a negative impression, which affected me when trying to rent again. Overall, I found them very unfair and unprofessional. Just be careful if you’re considering renting through them make sure everything is documented and don’t hesitate to challenge anything that doesn’t feel right.

Jasmine was really personable, answered all my questions (including following up via e-mail as needed), and supported me throughout the process. I am a first time buyer so didn’t know anything about the necessary steps so Jasmine and her colleague (Sandip) helped guide and prepare me throughout. I definitely recommend using Hawks and Jasmine.

What stands out most is their maintenance management; any time we had an issue in the apartment, they quickly sent contractors to handle repairs. They have also been very flexible with our needs over the years. A truly professional team.

Aside from the online referencing system (which didn’t seem to recognise my ability to pay rent as a self employed person in London - “computer says no”) - the process was very smooth and Dean was great to deal with.
