The level of professionalism fell well below expectations, and I was left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a client.I will not recommend their services and would recommend strongly advise others to look elsewhere for more reliable and responsive agency. Ps : don’t bother replying with a standard message, because already know your answer.

Lewis was always quick to respond to emails and kept me updated at every point of the process. Lewis went beyond in many ways - offering helpful recommendations and I felt fully supported throughout the whole process as a first-time buyer. I would definitely recommend John D Wood & Co.

Throughout those years, Jade has always been very patient with our queries and always speedy and productive with answers. She was also extremely helpful when our first tenancy ended unexpectedly when our Landlord wanted to sell. She found us a flat in the building next door and we got to move without any fuss at all. Saving what could have been a very stressful event. Very much appreciated all her help.

Initial valuation was fair, communication throughout was good, advice when sought was honest and straightforward. 25th Nov 2025 (24 weeks ago)Christies did a lot of research to ensure the valuation was realistic and achievable - the marketing materials were excellent - the viewings process was straightforward, we always knew what has happening and when. As Christies have a few offices in the area our property had maximum buyer exposure which has resulted in a good offer that we have accepted within one month of launch. Thanks Perry and team.

Our main contact was Laura who was absolutely amazing! it would be fair to say the sale process did have many ups and downs but she navigated the stormy seas and held the transaction together. A lot of people give Estate Agents a bad Rep but Laura well she is simply the best!

As an overseas landlord, I found her support absolutely invaluable. Lauren handled every stage with meticulous care, from putting the property on the market to finding the tenant. She attended to every minute detail of the property rental rules and ensured the property was in excellent condition. Lauren acted as a flawless bridge, communicating between myself, the tenant, and the maintenance team. She was always available to answer any queries and her 'spot on' communication provided me with total peace of mind. Beyond technical expertise, she has a warm, professional character that is perfectly suited to this profession. I am so pleased to have been connected with her through Barnard Marcus and wish her all the best as she moves higher up in her career. She is a true credit to the Putney team.

Booking viewings can often be a headache, but they made everything incredibly easy and professional. A huge thank you to Ara, Honor, and Emily, who were absolutely marvelous. They were punctual, extremely knowledgeable about the properties, and took the time to listen to exactly what I’m looking for. Their warm and friendly approach really sets this agency apart. Even though I’m still in the search process, the level of service I’ve received makes me feel very confident. Richard’s calm and intelligent approach made what could have been a stressful journey feel remarkably straightforward. He is a great facilitator, always composed, constructive, and ready to help. Both he and Matthew clearly know the local area well and were able to recommend reliable local trades when we needed them. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with the agency and would highly recommend them.

Big shoutout to Leah and Fiona + the crew. We viewed and moved in within a week. Hope we find a purchase property after our rental with them too ??

We worked with Mandy Jacobs and Wayland Ward-Smith and I'd recommend them without hesitation. Mandy gave us timely, frequent updates during the process and was always available for counsel, giving thoughtful, experienced advice at different twists and turns in our selling process.
