5th Dec 2022 (3 years ago)Disappointing experience. We unfortunately entered the market just as the economy was crashing into recession. However we chose Churchill because of their long standing local presence and thought they would provide an excellent service. We found them old fashioned and disjointed e.g. no 360 degrees online presentation of our house, we had to point out out that the published photos were originally missing a room, they was a complete lack of diversity in their agents (of which we had to deal with 3 different men although the area manager had said we would only be dealing with him) the different agents didn’t appear to have pre-read the information we had provided about our house before the viewings and there was a general lack of ongoing communication. In the end we only had two viewings before we ended the contract after 4 weeks.

31st May 2026 (23 days ago)????? | ?????? Lettings Review ?????? Wow! Where do I even start?! I'll be honest, I came to McRaes with zero expectations. I've come across enough agents over the years to have become fairly resigned to the whole experience ?????? You know the drill: slow responses, vague answers, nobody really seeming to care whether you actually get a home or not. ? McRaes were genuinely something else entirely ? Brian, Miri and Sally looked after the lettings process from start to finish and the thing that struck me most was how human they all were. Not just polite but actually kind ?????? Considerate, empathetic and whenever I had a question or a wobble they responded with warmth and patience rather than the usual clipboard energy you get at other agencies. You don't find people like that in estate agency anymore, they are a rare, rare find ?????? ? What made McRaes stand out: ?????? Genuine, warm and approachable from day one ?????? Outstanding communication throughout and never left in the dark ?????? Seamless, stress-free process start to finish ?????? You actually feel like a person, not just a tenant reference number ?????? The kind of people you're genuinely sad to stop dealing with ?? One thing to flag regarding the inventory company: ?????? This is no reflection on McRaes whatsoever but the third-party inventory company they used fell well short. Items were logged as "professionally cleaned" and "good condition" when they were neither including appliances that simply weren't in working order. For a lettings team that holds itself to such a high standard, it's a noticeable weak link. I'd genuinely encourage McRaes to find an inventory provider whose thoroughness matches their own. ?????? ?????? Here's the bottom line. McRaes are the kind of estate agents you wish you'd found years sooner. Brian, Miri and Sally are wonderful and the whole experience was refreshingly smooth. ???????????? Sort the inventory company and it's a five-star operation without question! ?????

I let my property out with them for nearly 5 years, and I'm still waiting in January for the final month's rent to be paid back to me from the tenant leaving in mid-November last year. On top of that the tenant left the flat in a complete state and I'm yet to receive any deposit money back to compensate. Calls/emails to the agency are being ignored.

His communication made everything much easier. I highly recommend One Stop Estates to anyone looking for a reliable letting agent.
16th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Not surprised to see some poor reviews here. I used Oakwood (Mottingham) before Covid for property management when moving abroad. They did not lodge the tenants deposit with DPS, and sent me a fake certificate when I asked for evidence. Daniel told me a temp worker had pocketed the deposit when he was on holiday and that she had produced the certificate (rubbish). He also did not follow due process when the tenants moved into the property which meant I had little chance for legal recourse should the tenants fall behind in rent. Oakwoods also did not provide me with a proper property management contract between them and myself, playing dumb when I asked for one. Unfortunately, this was my first time renting out a property and it was a learning experience. Agree with another reviewer that they only seemed to care about the sales side of the business.
11th Aug 2021 (4 years ago)Mylako have dealt with my concerns and challenges to do with the management of my flat and the building in a professional, courteous and timely manner. Businesses are made up of people and Mylako has some great professionals working there who take the needs and situations of their customers very seriously and it shows with the correction of issues relating to works needing to be done, accounts to be paid and a myriad of other things for which a capable and willing managing agent is essential

The whole team, and in particular Michele, helped me immensely through my journey as a landlord and as a seller. I had great tenants, both of whom remained in the property for many years without any issue, and Michael Morris was always on hand to provide assistance to both them and myself. I highly recommend anyone considering letting or selling a property to choose Michael Morris.
