Not only was he always approachable with our questions, often meeting us in person for anything however small but his knowledge of the area is unrivalled. This level of experience is rare but is essential with these kind of listed properties. Would highly recommend Howard and Aston Chase.
6th Sep 2026 (11 days ago)I have been receiving a service from Hoopers and a Hoopers associate for over 20 years. They look after managing my flat so well that I know that I am in good hands. It is reassuring,, that they make sure that all the safety requirements are in place. More recently Shenae has been my main contact person and she is efficient, accessible, engaging, polite and overall very professional at what she does. For example Hoopers needed a set of keys, but Shenae made the time to collect the tenants key, got the spare keys cut and then returned the tenants keys to them. That made it really easy and saved my time as a landlord. Thank you Hoopers for such an excellent service. Dr LW MBE

10th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)This review is specifically only for Kevin, who I would wholeheartedly recommend based on my personal experience of working with him over many years.<br><br>Kevin was the estate agent who originally helped us purchase this house, so when it eventually came time to sell it, there was really only one person we wanted to deal with. By then, Kevin had moved to a different company, but we wanted only him again because of the excellent experience we had with him when we bought the property.<br><br>Selling the house was particularly challenging because I was not in the country, but Kevin made the entire process remarkably straightforward. He coordinated everything from arranging viewings and collecting keys to organising the required surveys, liaising with neighbours and dealing with all the practical details that needed to be managed locally. I always felt that things were being taken care of, even though I was thousands of miles away.<br><br>What sets Kevin apart is his approach. He is incredibly professional, calm and accommodating without ever being pushy or forceful. He listens, gives realistic advice about pricing and timelines, responds promptly and appropriately to emails, and genuinely makes you feel that he is working with you rather than simply trying to make a sale.<br><br>There is one phrase of Kevin’s that has stayed with me over the years. Whenever you asked him to do something, his response was invariably, “Leave it with me.” And that is exactly how you felt dealing with him—you could leave it with him and trust that he would sort it out.<br><br>From helping us buy the house to helping us sell it years later, Kevin has been consistently excellent. Finding him again specifically to sell our property was one of the best decisions we made.<br><br>A true gentleman, highly professional and exceptionally reliable. If you are looking for someone who will guide you properly, communicate honestly and take the stress out of the process, I would wholeheartedly recommend Kevin.

Rashid the Agent who showed me the flat (and about 50 other people!!) was courteous, provided lots of information and transparent about the quirks and what the landlord was looking for. After my offer was accepted - Dimension continued to keep strong communication and was patient with all of questions.

7th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)AWFUL experience. If I could give Portico 0 starts I would, I truly could not recommend them less. The lack of communication was the first and most prevalent issue throughout our Tennancy (which was cut short due to a hazardous mould issue which was flagged many times before and during the Tennancy). My flatmate and I spent hours and hours of our time trying to draw attention to and rectify the multiple issues with the property, some more serious than others, on many occasions we were ignored and on some occasions the portico employees were actually very rude. I will not name names but a lady in the Highbury office in particular. The ordeal with portico cost us a great deal financially but also in terms of stress, not to mention the health implications of living in a damp flat for 5+ months during the height of winter, in an uninsulated room, where the radiator fell off the wall and the heating did not work initially. I don’t ever leave bad reviews but I seriously believe people should avoid this service. Would not wish it upon others, particularly when you are overpaying for a property and working hard to do so!<br>The issues were never ending , and I was constantly in awe of the audacity of Portico to try and charge us for various things that we flagged as issues many times to<br>them and were not our fault. If you have the misfortune of using Portico, I reccomend you keep a record of your engagement with them.<br>Other problems included a gas leak for the first four months of the tenancy, the flat not being cleaned before our arrival, marks all over the place, broken kitchen appliances and shelves, the list goes on.<br>I hope portico work to improve their service and treatment of their clients.<br>Please note the is experience was between August 2024 and March 2025

21st Aug 2026 (27 days ago)Excellent service- as a landlord living several hundred miles away from property, I've been reliant on Hunters oversight and management of my flat. In particular special mention to Timea H , who has liaised directly with me on a regular basis and organised all the necessary checks and maintenance issues etc., as well as keeping me updated and informed of the changes in legislation.<br>I felt confident in knowing that my tenants were being looked after , and that my property and interests were equally prioritised .Highly recommend this local management service

I left my most recent viewing feeling genuinely misled and disrespected, especially because this was the second time I had experienced the same kind of issue there, with the same agent.<br><br>From the outset, I had clearly explained the type of property I was looking for, my requirements and my budget. The agent, Elvira Petkova, first sent me a video of a property that did not meet those requirements, so I explicitly declined it and explained why. She then sent me a second video of a different property that I did like, called me afterwards, and arranged a viewing with me based on that second property.<br><br>When I arrived, however, she took me to the first property — the one I had already explicitly rejected. It was only then that I was told the property from the second video, which I understood I had booked the viewing for, was actually far above my budget. I had therefore attended the appointment believing I was going to see a property I was interested in and that was a realistic option for me, when in fact it was never within my budget in the first place. Instead, I was taken back to a property I had already said I did not want to see. Had I been given that information beforehand, I would never have agreed to the appointment.<br><br>What makes this worse is that a very similar thing had already happened to me before with the same agent. On a previous occasion, I had booked and confirmed a viewing for a specific property, only to arrive at the Foxtons office and be driven to a completely different property in a different location.<br><br>For this to happen once would be frustrating. For it to happen twice, on separate occasions and with different properties, is extremely unprofessional. I found the experience misleading, poorly organised and disrespectful of my time.
