Unlike many agents who delegate once an offer is accepted, Aaron personally handled every single stage of my sale. He liaised directly with both solicitors, resolved issues before they became problems and kept the entire process moving with professionalism and calm efficiency. What truly sets him apart is his transparency, integrity and speed. He always got back to me quickly, communicated clearly and made sure I understood exactly what was happening at each step. His involvement removed so much stress and ensured the sale progressed smoothly and without delays. Aaron is the rare kind of estate agent who genuinely cares about his clients and takes full ownership of the process. It was definitely the right decision. Communication with David and Maria was very smooth and I always felt in the loop. I've never actually sold a property before, and was a bit intimidated by the idea initially, but thanks to Maria and David's efforts I was always pretty confident that it was all going to be okay. Thank you!

She was on the ball and kept communications open to help move things along and keep the chain informed. In a protracted sale process she was reassuring and positive.
27th Jan 2026 (14 weeks ago)If I could give no stars I would. Will, who said he was the manager of the two Hackney branches, really could not manage a rice pudding. He was enthusiastic until the sale was agreed and then didn't want to bother with any communicating thereafter. He gave the clear impression that he just needed to sit back, do nothing more and wait for the commission to role. He gave clear indications that he did not have time to try and help progress the sale because he was too busy trying to make other property sales. I came away with the definite idea that Dexters work on agreeing as many sales as they possibly can and then do nothing thereafter and keep their fingers crossed that the sale completes. They work on quantity of sales and not quality of service. What Will does not take into account is that buying and selling is very stressful for the buyers and sellers and part of the agents job should be to be very active in progressing the sale and keeping in communication with other agents and the buyers and sellers until the sale is complete. Avoid listing your property for sale with Dexters to avoid disappointment.

16th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)I lived in my flat for 8 months now and have so far experienced so many issues that their check-in report failed to identify. First day I moved in, the bathtub was clogged, there were underwear stuffed in the drawers, toilet seat cover was cracked. The heater was also broken so had to freeze through December, and they also pointed me to the wrong the electricity meter so I’ve been paying for my neighbour’s electricity. Their property manager is incompetent at best, ignoring emails/calls and just sit there watch you suffer / sort out problems by yourself. Avoid at all cost.
18th Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)Communication overall was poor, and the final sale price ended up materially below what had been pitched and discussed at the outset. More concerning was the conduct from Yaseen, on the finance side, where agreed written terms were later disputed and the matter was escalated unnecessarily, including multiple threats of court action, before the correct position was eventually accepted after some push back. The issue was ultimately resolved, but the process fell short of the level of professionalism I would expect. I would recommend others ensure everything is clearly documented and reviewed before proceeding, if at all.

18th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)Unprofessional, unethical, and publicly mocks clients. I strongly advise avoiding Alexander Rose Estates. Our experience was a nightmare: Financial Pressure: They pressured us to accept a lower offer for their own convenience, disregarding our best interests as sellers. Incompetence: They failed to track essential legal documents and met our concerns with "Be optimistic" instead of professional solutions. Public Mockery: Look at their response to our previous feedback. The owner literally bragged about "celebrating" and "partying" while we suffered from their poor conduct. Using a smirking emoji to ridicule a client’s genuine grievance is the height of arrogance. If you value your money and mental health, do not trust this agency. They don't care about your home; they only care about their commission and mocking you if you complain.

From beginning to end, they handled our sale with the utmost professionalism and took a lot of the stress away. Cannot fault them and would definitely recommend. Communication was excellent throughout, and any issues on any side of the chain were dealt with quickly, calmly and effectively. Moving home is often described as one of life’s most stressful experiences, but Stewart genuinely took the stress out of it for us. It was a real pleasure to work with someone so professional, proactive and reassuring — we always felt confident knowing everything was in safe hands and that Stewart had complete command over proceedings. Thank you so much for making what could have been a difficult process such a positive one.

Our particular thanks go to Svetlana in Sales and Helga our amazing Sales Progressor who communicated along the chain so we didn’t have to. We definitely couldn’t have done this without Butler and Stag.

25th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)Avoid - rude, dishonest, would not trust as either a buyer or seller Signed up in person summer 2025 as a buyer. No info sent through in months. In December sent multiple requests via Zoopla for a viewing of one of their properties. No reply. Called main office. Finally get one email to arrange viewing; I reply six times and nothing. Physically go into office March 2026 (house is still on market / unsold) and get patronised rudely by a team member - "we couldn't prioritise you as a viewer" "this is how markets work" (thanks I've bought & sold two places before). Told me they'd book me in for viewing; no follow up. It's pretty clear they overprice houses that they don't sell - this one is still on the market as of end April 26 (it was reduced a full six months ago) which was confirmed by friends who live locally "avoid them, terrible reputation". I wouldn't want to partner with such poorly organised / low integrity agents to sell my place, or want to work with them on buying somewhere.
