5th Sep 2024 (11 days ago)I was the tenant for 3 years with Space Lettings. The experience is bad, they don’t even deserve a star, I’d ranked minus if I could. They don’t take their responsibilities as a management agent of the property. They didn’t come for inspection on the last day of tangency agreement and just simply asked the tenant to drop the keys in their office. We have carried out the professionally cleaning as committed. They came back with a list of items that need to be done and want to deduct from our deposits a week after we’d returned the keys. The items they listed out are mostly non sense and at the end they cut down to one item that the carpets need to re-do cleaning. We have arranged and instructed the cleaning company to re-clean by the Letting Manager agreement and confirmation. They even refused to provide the access of house for the cleaning company but to request either us (the ex tenant) or the cleaning company goes to collect keys at the shop. On the scheduled date, when the cleaning company arrived the shop, they said they have no keys and asked the workers to come back later. So the workers go back an hour later, keys still not available hence they can’t perform the job. I called the Letting Manager and state clear if the workers couldn’t get access to the house on the day we agreed, it is presumed the work are no longer required and the end of tangency cleaning therefore been completed with no further follow up actions. This conversation was also followed by email. The next day, Space Lettings requested to rearrange the cleaning without charge! The cleaning company is charging for the broken appointment and Space Lettings said they have no responsibility to pay for charge. It is completely a terrible experience with them. The conditions of house is also terrible. Kitchen flooring was removed and the water leaking problem did not fix.
16th Aug 2024 (4 weeks ago)I was dealing with Sameera, and although things didn't go our way, she was very helpful. If you can, try getting her to help when it comes to renting a property. Everyone else there who was helping me I found very useless. I didn't get my deposit back, despite it saying so on the contract, and I was left with no apartment or anything. I honestly wouldn't recommend Connells, but if you are to go ahead with them, ask for Sameera.

We recommend Kelly-Anne and the Stopsley team whole heartedly. They immediately gained our full trust and went above and beyond in the sale of our family home every single step of the way. The team is highly knowledgable of the local market and the process, kept us informed every step of the way, and made our very emotional sale effortless on our part. Please don't hesitate to use Connell's. Best in town!

22nd Aug 2024 (25 days ago)While they are great at taking ones details when you call to request for a viewing they fail to call you back as promised. When you follow up (24 hours later) they advise the property is no longer on the market. Very poor communication.
