Astrid, Rebecca and their colleagues have been most reassuring in their managing of the property - always contacting me promptly whenever there has been a problem or question. Over one long period there had to be a lot of calls and e-mails, back & forth, yet they bore it all with patience and perseverance. Well done and thank you.
Awful experience. Moved into a house with friends and, in hindsight, it is obvious we were sold lie after lie just so that they could get us in the property. They dragged their heals with any enquiry that we made, and often things were left unresolved as we gave up chasing them. We were told that they were looking for long-term tenants, only to not have our contract renewed because they had plans to knock the house down and build new properties. To which, by the way, they charge over £100 to just be a reference for your next tenancy. Within days of just being interested in the property, we were dumbfounded with how inept and clueless they were as they have such a high reputation. I will now go out of my way to NOT use Hamptons and advise others to stay clear as the service has been that appalling. I only wish you could leave less than 1 star.
My wife and I met Darrell at a property in Walton-on-Thames yesterday and I just want to say what a fantastic job he did.
We have looked at quite a few other properties with other companies and the level of professionalism and knowledge was unmatched.
It's not often I have time to write positive reviews like this but it was a breath of fresh air to have a sales representative have full knowledge and understanding of the property.
We were actually recommended to work with your company so you must be doing something right.
After listing a property with Martin Flashman, who had tied me into a 6-MONTH contract, I found it to be a very disappointing service. After 2-months on the market they got me an offer of £200k. I told them that was so insulting that it didn't deserve a reply, and when I spoke to Martin Flashman to ask why they would encourage such a low offer, his reply was that I can go and list it with someone else if I want to, but he has a 6-month contract and if I sell it through someone else, I'll be paying 2 estate agents fees. I waited for that contract to expire before I sold the house in Feb, 2010 through Gascoigne & Pees and they found me a buyer who met the full asking price of £250k within 2-weeks!
I had bought through Martin Flashman before and I generally value the idea of dealing with small businesses because I appreciate being able to speak directly to the boss. However, these are not the sort of folks I'd advise selling through, not if you want either a fair price, or a timely transaction. I can only speak for myself, but I will never sell through MF again, and I can't say I found Mr Flashman to be the sort of person I'd want to be dealing with ever again.
Absolutely brilliant support and service from Stuart, helped me solve alot of issues with my solicitor on my sale (he wasn't even my estate agent) kept me updated all the time, returned every call and email I sent, thanks for sticking with it for the insanely long and bumpy road to my new home
This agent is in my opinion poor. We rented a property through them and gave full disclosure about our occupation as childminders at the start of proceedings, our offer was accepted and we signed the contract and paid all monies required straight away. We gave notice at our current home, looking forward to our new home. 8 Days before we were due to move in Stuart contacted us saying the tenancy will not go ahead because he wasn't aware that as childminders we would be working from home. Sounds a bit thin... Anyway it looks like we will be homeless because our landlord isn't sure she wants to let us stay.
I have just moved into a property rented by Leaders. I mainly dealt with Thomas Batey who has been great at helping the any queries I have both before and since moving into the property. I look forward to my tenancy with them.
Leaders Lettings Dept when you are a new tenant appear on the surface to be good in terms of arranging viewings, starting a tenancy and moving in. However, this is a ploy to extract whatever they can from you in fees and charges. Once you are a tenant their customer service disappears, they are rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. When your tenancy ends Leaders will try every possible underhanded method of extracting yet more in their overpriced and unnecessary fees and delaying the return of a substantial deposit. All of this is coupled with their atrocious service. Avoid at all costs - there is an abundance of better estate agents in Walton on Thames and the surrounding area.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tudor & Co. Reno was professional, extremely personable and thorough in all his searches. They successfully let my property and I'm delighted.
From the initial meeting for a valuation to the eventual completion Tudor and Co were efficient, pleasant to deal with and made me feel that I truly was a valued individual not just a potential commission. There were undoubted ups and downs along the way (due to major events in politics!) but they never stopped trying to achieve the best possible sale for me.
We have received super professional and friendly service from Natasha and couldn't recommend her highly enough. We have just relocated from another country and it can be very difficult to find a right agent who can be very efficient and always on top of things. Natasha was very helpful and quick in responding. Now we have a house that we are very happy with.
Emma Horsnell Shave in the sales team was excellent to deal with, they would get 5 stars.
Letting team not so great still waiting the return of my rental deposit they would only get 1star as its taken so long and leaves a bad taste.
So averages down to 3 stars.
