Being new to the renting market, me and my partner were anxious and bewildered with all the information and processes. Luckily we had Aicha to help us along our way, and she really did offer us the most help and support I think possible. She paid attention to our needs and wants and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. Great Service.
It's hard to believe that company like this actually exists, and - after so many bad reviewers connected to property letting actually still operates in London.
Customer service is non-existent. They do not care about you but your money!
They were very quick to collect our holding deposit and all of the necessary documents, but we have never heard from them afterwards. I've never encountered treatment like this.
Do yourself a favour and please do not deal with them!!!
All the people we dealt with at the office were fantastic. They made the process of viewing and choosing a property very easy and explained what we needed to do to secure the one we wanted. Reasonable fees, reliable and keep you informed. Highly recommended.
Very unreliable, we were told our offer was accepted, card details taken, a week later found out that nothing was arranged and that our offer was still on the table with another offer!! Very stressful dealing with them, even the manager of the branch (Brockley) wasn't very trustworthy, difficult to get hold of, ignoring our emails, saying he would arrange things and he wouldn't. We couldn't believe an agent could be so unreliable! If they were not a big agency we would have thought we got involved into some dodgy business. Everything ok at the end but when we were finally given the landlord's details and got to speak with him we found out the agent hadn't even spoken to him about things he said he would arrange. So disappointing! Good we get to deal directly with the landlord from now on!
I have just spent a week looking for a property near my son in Hither Green, and getting to know the area which is completely new to me.I was not sure of what was available, or even what I wanted. Sarah Gillett has shown me a good range of properties, all of which met the few criteria that I had given her. She was cheerful, patient and informative. She took the time to fit in a second unplanned visit to one of the flats I liked and seemed very enthusiastic about the area. It was nice to get an email from her with suggestions of places to eat and parks worth visiting. I now have a clearer idea of what I want and would be more than happy to be shown around by her when I resume my search in the future,
I rang with the simple question of "Do you do probate valuations?" I could not get a straightforward answer. The employee, who had refrained from giving her name, wanted to know my property details, whether I intended selling through them, which road the property was in? On asking again "Do you do probate valuations?" I was still unable to get a straight forward reply. Wouldn't use them for anything after this. As if dealing with Probate isn't upsetting enough.
Maisie was great in the sale of my nans house. Made the whole process so seamless and stress free! Thank you Maisie, will definitely consult Haart if we need your services again!
Paul and his team helped us work through the sale process through difficult circumstances, we are living in the US and were selling remotely over 4500 miles and 7 time zones! This made communication difficult (we are 7 hours behind the UK) and maybe because of this, we sometimes felt a little isolated and lacking reassurance that everything that could be done to make the sale happen, was being done. That being said, we would recommend them as they got the best price possible and gave good service up to and beyond the sale of our property.
Fantastic service by a great team, Deanne is outstanding above and beyond expectations, lead by Chris who goes the extra mile.
Service with a smile and a stunning customer experience by a professional team. Helping to find the right property for my best friend in an up and coming area. I would really recommend and will use you again.
We have recently purchased a property from Stanford Estates and could not recommend them enough! Michaela has been absolutely amazing from start to finish, so lovely to deal with always patient, understanding and happy to help! We are first time buyers so weren’t familiar with the whole process but nothing was too much trouble for Michaela! Will definitely be using them again if we sell or buy another property.
I don't like leaving poor reviews of companies, look at my history of reviews and you'll see that's the case. However, the letting agency industry really makes me cross. I did everything in my power to ensure that the property I vacated via this agency was delivered back at the standard I arrived at, and was careful to communicate my early exit of the tenancy agreement with Stanford Estates employees. The fact I had £1000 deducted from my deposit is not an issue - I agreed to the remarketing fee - what makes me really annoyed is the fact I had to wait over 2 weeks for a decision on how much money would be returned to me. It's my damn money, I was a great tenant, how dare you hold onto my funds for so long for no good reason. And how dare you charge £900 as a reletting fee in the first place! That's an outrageous fee that I should never have accepted in the first place. I urgently needed to leave London and accepted these terms but I accepted with great annoyance. I have no doubt Zoopla and RightMove costs a bit, but here's an idea. Cover the cost in your initial fees to tenants and landlords. Don't wack it on on the end and punish tenants when things don't work out over no control of their own. Just a suggestion! 2 stars as Malcolm Goes seems like a nice bloke.
