During what can be sometimes be a difficult process to navigate, I always felt like I knew where I stood due to her clear and proactive communication. Overall a very positive experience, with a timeline of 8 weeks from offer accepted to completion.
3rd Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.

He kept in regular contact with both solicitors, ensured everyone was kept up to date, and helped the transaction progress smoothly. I highly recommend Toby and John Payne!
14th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.- 17th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)William was wonderful during our viewing. They are friendly and kept us informed all the time.<br>After our sale, and when we were in the area afterwards, we went in to say hi, and they were so lovely. Smiley, warm people. Directed us to places of interest in the area, and we can't wait to explore the area.<br>Would recommend Chattertons!

Highly competitive fee structure and much fairer than I saw with other companies. 17th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)My experience started off really well when I first moved in, and everything seemed smooth. Unfortunately, as time went on, several problems began to arise.<br><br>We had no Wi-Fi for almost two months, there was a rat infestation, and the air vent in the property never actually worked and seemed to be there purely for display. These issues made the experience increasingly frustrating.<br><br>When I eventually decided to move out, the staff helped with the process. Before paying for the final month, I specifically asked whether I would receive my money back for the days I would not be living there, and I was told that I would. I moved out only two days after the rent was due, yet I was only refunded around half of what I had paid.<br><br>I have now been trying to resolve this for around four months. I have called the office regularly, sometimes around four times a week, but I repeatedly get told that “Charles isn’t in the office.” Unfortunately, this has become extremely frustrating because I still have not received a proper explanation or resolution.

Pamela is our main contact, very professional, communicative, knowledgeable and on top of the whole process - would highly recommend her as an agent. She showed us the property and explained everything in depth and clearly. She’s also very responsive on WhatsApp to all of our questions, which has been very very helpful. My sale was quite complex, with delays and hold ups in the chain that were outside our control, but the team went above and beyond to keep things moving. They handled everything with professionalism, urgency and a personal touch that I really appreciated.<br><br>Communication was excellent. Whenever I had a question, someone was there to answer, and I always felt confident they were working hard behind the scenes. They were approachable, trustworthy and easy to work with throughout.<br><br>A special thank you to John for his patience with my frequent requests for answers and updates, and to Terrence for his work behind the scenes, pushing the sale forward and showing a real urgency to get things done. I received an offer within three days of the property being marketed and Mohammed helped me through every step of the process, from arranging clearance and cleaning through to completion.
