28th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)The real estate agent Mr. Olatunde Ogungbadare was very helpful and friendly right from the beginning. From the very first time we met, he connected with us, wifey and myself and genuinely expressed interest in our search after narrating our past experiences. After showing us the flat, we were hesitant and wanted to view other places. However Mr. Olatunde encouraged us to look at the long term and offered us some wonderful ideas. Few days after, we decided to go ahead and started the process. Everything went smooth in the beginning till we encountered an unfortunate bump on our part due to a typo. It almost derailed everything and this is where Mr. Olatunde went the extra distance to work with us. On his day off, Mr. Olatunde offered to meet with us in his office and sorted out every detail. It was very stressful but he patiently took it upon himself to get over the bump to get us the flat. By Gods Grace, eventually everything worked out and we finally got the flat. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Mr. Olatunde. We are very grateful.

She's very experienced and dealt with the whole process in a seamless way, from suggesting minor cosmetic improvements, recommending a property management company, to a solicitor dealing with conveyancing. After many viewings and and we had accepted an offer within a month.
3rd Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.

I had a buyer and the deal didn’t go through because the agents wanted cash under the table. Also former member of staff from the Bromley branch made it clear he and alongside a few other with different background were getting pushed out the company- 27th Apr 2026 (7 days ago)I wanted to say a big thank you to Sam Cheeseman for all the help he gave while my parent was buying their first home. From the start, Sam was really easy to talk to, and he explained things clearly, which helped take a lot of the stress out of the process. He was always happy to answer our questions (and we had quite a few), and he kept us updated throughout, which made everything feel much more manageable. He was supportive, and genuinely seemed to care about helping us through such an important step. Buying a first home can be quite overwhelming, but Sam made the whole experience feel a lot smoother. We would also highly recommend John Payne Lee for their excellent service and support throughout. Thanks again, Sam we really appreciate everything you did for us.
24th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)I found a property to purchase being marketed by Chattertons Estate Agents. My initial viewing was hosted by Jen who was extremely welcoming, informative and helpful. After that, subsequent viewings were conducted by the fantastic branch manager, Doug Paterson. This sale/purchase was complicated by the fact that the elderly owner had gone into care and the sale being managed by her disabled son who was a long distance away. Doug had to act as liaison and there was absolutely nothing that was too much trouble for him, from recommending an excellent firm of solicitors who, with Doug’s input, were able to expedite the process to completion in 5 week, fantastic! There is no way I could praise the team at Chattertons, particularly Doug, any higher and have no hesitation in giving them the highest recommendation.

30th Apr 2026 (4 days ago)We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the Hamptons teams (Blackheath and Sevenoaks) for managing the sale of our five bedroom property in Chislehurst. Hamptons marketing to potential purchasers resulted in a regular viewings by worthy parties. In addition, the communications we received before and after each viewing was much appreciated so that always felt appraised of the interest in our property. In the lead up to exchange of contracts and then sale completion, Hamptons played very helpful role to liaise with our purchasers. This enabled a smooth and amicable path to completion. For their professionalism, knowledge of the market, attention to detail, regular advice & guidance and first rate communications, we would recommend Hamptons without reservation.

They were always very helpful and made it easy for me living abroad as they resolved the tenants minor issues practically and helped me when there were bigger issues. Would highly recommend
16th Apr 2026 (18 days ago)I lived in my flat for 8 months now and have so far experienced so many issues that their check-in report failed to identify. First day I moved in, the bathtub was clogged, there were underwear stuffed in the drawers, toilet seat cover was cracked. The heater was also broken so had to freeze through December, and they also pointed me to the wrong the electricity meter so I’ve been paying for my neighbour’s electricity. Their property manager is incompetent at best, ignoring emails/calls and just sit there watch you suffer / sort out problems by yourself. Avoid at all cost.
3rd Apr 2026 (4 weeks ago)Truly the worst service one could experience from an estate agent. John and Mariem were extremely unreasonable, obstinate and down right rude. Refused to request items from the landlord like removing furniture and allowing keys to be returned early at end of tenancy. Our boiler broke on one of the coldest days in winter and we had to quote the unfit for habitation act before they responded to my requests to send someone to fix.
1st May 2026 (3 days ago)I think buying and selling a house is stressful enough, and this is why we loved working with Strickland: Jamie and Terence are two REAL people who REALLY cared and did treat our sale and purchase like what it really meant to us, not just another transaction on their schedule. They have been reasonable (honestly, it may sound like an odd compliment but it’s just so hard to find reasonable people these days!), kind, proactive, an absolute pleasure to work with. I did genuinely trust them and I would do so again with no hesitation. The only issue now is that we’ll need to move again to have an excuse to hang out with them! ??????

Amelia, was incredibly helpful throughout the viewing and application process, making everything smooth and stress-free. Since moving in, our property manager, Chloe Burgess, has been absolutely amazing- responsive, supportive, and genuinely proactive in making sure everything is running well. Overall, we have had a great experience and feel very well looked after.
