27th May 2026 (30 days ago)I wish i had gone with Andrea years ago. I had tried several local agents in the area over the years. Some overvalued my property to win the business or had the viewings conducted by junior staff without much experience. Andrea managed to get a genuine buyer and a successful sale despite the current problems in Central London. Courteous, conducted viewings himself and I wish I had met him and taken his advice years ago.
15th Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)I wasn't overly impressed by the estate agent. While they were upfront about the market and the difficulty in selling, I don't believe they were actively engaged in the marketing of the property. While presence for viewings, I felt that the agent showing lack knowledge of the properly and area with the owners really providing the viewing. When recieving an offer, there was an underlying pressure to accept a bid which was well below our expectations and only through our push back we were able to get a more satisfactory offer. Something I don't think we could have got with the guidance of the estate agent
18th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)I had a misfortune of bidding on a property and winning the bid with this estate agency. I immediately paid for a search pack and booked a surveyor only two months into the process to be told that the property hasn't been registered on land registry and it will take a year to sort it out. Really disappointed in Doug Paterson who should have checked this before putting this property on the market. They cost me a lot of money and time.<br><br>Update: since I posted the review above Doug contacted me and tried to blackmail me into removing this review saying he might provide information to my home buyers insurance provider which would invalidate my claim!

17th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)I cannot recommend Comber & Co highly enough, especially for anyone looking for a home in Blackheath.<br><br>When I first arrived in the UK, I was completely new to the country and the rental process. I was trying to find a place to live with a limited budget and under a lot of time pressure, and unfortunately many larger agencies were not very responsive or willing to help. At that time, Comber & Co was the team that truly made a difference.<br><br>From the very beginning, Suzanne kindly supported me and helped me find a home when I was feeling quite lost. Her patience, warmth, and genuine care made the whole process so much easier, and thanks to her I was able to settle into London with much more confidence.<br><br>Throughout my tenancy, Debby and Phoebe were also incredibly helpful. The whole team has always been professional, friendly, and approachable. They manage the property extremely well, keep everything up to date, respond quickly whenever there is an issue, and always make you feel that you are being looked after rather than just being a tenant.<br><br>What impressed me most is how reasonable, reliable, and human they are. It is rare to find a letting agency that combines excellent service with such genuine kindness.<br><br>Comber & Co is truly one of the best teams in Blackheath, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a home.
15th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)I would genuinely recommend using Truepenny’s Charlton if you want to sell your property. From the initial valuation (which was much more realistic that other overly inflated figures from other estate agents) the service by the team in the Charlton branch was excellent. We were trying to sell our flat in an already difficult market but Bhavi and David secured many viewings over the summer and finally an offer was made. The team were always available to help and nudge things along. I’d happily use them again.

Suzanna made me feel completely supported throughout the entire process. She gave me thoughtful advice, was very responsive and did such a great job organising everything including giving access for trades people and chasing the solicitors. I would recommend her to anyone.

During the viewing, Abu showed a great relationship with the previous tenants, which really highlights their excellent service. Highly recommend!
