The entire Talbots team was consistently supportive, professional, and quick to help with anything I needed. Having dealt with several estate agents over the last five years in the UK, Talbots really stands out for the quality of service they provide. They treat tenants with respect, communicate clearly, and make the whole renting process smooth and stress?free. I only moved out because I needed to relocate closer to my partner’s workplace, otherwise, I would have happily stayed on as their tenant. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable and tenant?focused letting agent.
17th Jul 2026 (12 days ago)David Andrew Estates on Highbury Park have been fully managing two properties for me for over 30 years. I cannot think of a greater testament for their services than that both properties have been let 99% of the time to tenants who have looked after the property and paid their rent on time every single month. Thank you to Philip, Francois and John and the team. I highly recommend these people and this company to both landlords and tenants.

16th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)Not surprised to see some poor reviews here. I used Oakwood (Mottingham) before Covid for property management when moving abroad. They did not lodge the tenants deposit with DPS, and sent me a fake certificate when I asked for evidence. Daniel told me a temp worker had pocketed the deposit when he was on holiday and that she had produced the certificate (rubbish). He also did not follow due process when the tenants moved into the property which meant I had little chance for legal recourse should the tenants fall behind in rent. Oakwoods also did not provide me with a proper property management contract between them and myself, playing dumb when I asked for one. Unfortunately, this was my first time renting out a property and it was a learning experience. Agree with another reviewer that they only seemed to care about the sales side of the business.
8th Mar 2026 (20 weeks ago)Madison Brook appears to be a very professional estate agent, with strong local knowledge and excellent communication throughout the process. An offer on the property was accepted within about six weeks of it going onto the market. The accepted offer was almost 4% below the guide price, but this was likely influenced by the recent sale of another near-identical property within the same block.

Throughout this time I have purchased properties with their support and they support me with my rentals. Phil and Paul have been excellent committed professionals for the duration of the time I have worked alongside them and communication has always been excellent. Cousins are reliable and pleasant and I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a property or be supported with a rental. Darren DPG Electrical

They have always been really friendly ,helpful, and easy to deal with. Anytime I’ve needed anything they’ve been there and the service has always been great. 19th May 2026 (10 weeks ago)The staff at Douglas Allen are lovely, but sadly, I didn't have one viewing. I do feel that after they advertised on line, they just waited for the phone to ring. Having said that, it is currently a difficult market. Perhaps my valuation exceeded customers expectations??? But on the grounds of the company being very approachable and friendly, I would recommend them.
25th Mar 2023 (3 years ago)The most rudest and ignorant estate agents I have ever met. Please save yourself the trouble and do not work with this estate agent and especially not Haseeb. Throughout my time of renting a property from this agent, he has neglected his duties and then had the audacity to keep the deposit after I left the property. This estate agents and Haseeb have no humanity nor manners whatsoever.

Dan quickly generated an amazing number of viewings and multiple offers, so many, in fact, that we soon stopped using multiple agents and relied entirely on him. After a few setbacks with buyers, Dan was undeterred and went right back to work with positivity and optimism. He secured a truly great offer for us and handheld the entire process brilliantly, all the way through to exchange. Dealing with Dan was an absolute pleasure; he is personable, incredibly astute, and makes what can be a stressful process feel straightforward. I would work with him again without hesitation.
