14th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)Avoid avoid avoid Worse than useless. I Put my house on the market with them They showed it to people that were not looking for that type of property just out for the day. No feed back despite several requests for feedback, failed to utilize key features like the summer house in the garden with electric and insulation they said because its an outbuilding they can't utilize it as a selling point, also not showing up for viewings among lots more other failings. When the contract ended I spoke to Rikesh the agent in charge to confirm the end of contract and relisting elsewhere and was told yes it has ended he will push the button to end the listing and I could do what I like in terms of selling with another estate agents. We relisted elsewhere sold and a year later Connells demanded fees for the sale by way of a debt collection company this went on for approximately a year Connells in house complaints procedure is one sided and a joke it finally concluded with the ombudsmen deciding in my favour also stating Connells actions were inappropriate and I received a small compensation settlement so definitely AVOID THEM

In recent times we have had a need to make use of the services on a complicated transaction and were very impressed by the professional way the matter was handled. We make special reference to Jeremy who has gone above and beyond in helping us with the purchase of our current property and the tenancy of our previous property. 19th May 2022 (1 year ago)We’re first time buyers and John D Wood were selling the home we were buying. We were shown our new home by George who was lovely. Julian in the team managed everything else, and the man is a saint. I was stressed to say the least between work and trying to buy a house in a short timeframe. No matter how testy I got, he was patient, friendly and supportive. I can’t speak highly enough of Julian, and when we eventually sell in the future he’ll be the first person we go to. Julian thank you so much for your amazing service.

They give of their time to explain the whole of the selling process, listening to our views and needs. They have excellent area knowledge and we felt confident that they would be able to market and talk about our house accurately highlighting the positives of its location. They vetted prospective buyers for their genuine interest, so preventing time wasting and gave advice for offers.

John has been amazing at dealing with any issues and the ability to contact them on phone, email or whatsapp is great. We had a power issue out of their control over Christmas and New Year, and their service could not have been any better. The tradesmen they engage are also professional and friendly with excellent standards - we couldn't recommend this business any more highly!

Sheetal worked with us and our conveyancing solicitors and ensured there were no last-minute surprises. She kept us informed and helped us navigate through the buying process. 24th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)I really wonder how come they have so many 5 stars reviews when they did not prove anything else other than unprofesionalism and unable to schedule viewings. They showed up on a Saturday unannounced and the agents can’t seem to get the times right. No cummunication whatsoever other than the automatic email confirmation. They do not reply to emails and do not care about improving their services. I am running very low on patience because of them and definitely this is not how you should do business.

Not only are its fees competitive and fair, I am also impressed by the professional standards and excellent efficiency of its staff and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this particular firm to potential landlords looking for agents. In particular, I highly commend the services provided by their Mr Rowan Mohan who was outstanding from the very outset. While handling the rental of my London apartment, he was very helpful, committed and resourceful. There was robustness in his advertising outreach and attentiveness in keeping me updated on a regular basis. He always returns phone calls and deals with any problems promptly and efficiently. As the seller of the property now lives in New Zealand, and because the time difference sometimes made obtaining information difficult, Christian went the extra mile to ensure that things went very smoothly. We have been very impressed with him and would definitely recommend the Chiswick branch of Savills, and especially Christian, to anyone.

1st Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)We just finished working with Louise Jones and her team (primarily Michelle and Laura) on the sale of our terraced house in Chiswick. We interviewed a lot of local agencies, and we can confidently say that we really made the right decision— they were simply incredible. We were moving abroad on a tight timeline and were by no means the easiest clients; and we had quite a lot of other factors that had to be taken into account. Louise’s valuation of the house was exponentially higher than other firms and because Horton & Garton worked to identify the right kinds of buyers, we had three offers (two well over ask) within three days of being on the market. H&G treat each property as a bespoke sale and it really shows— not to mention the fact that they’re really communicative, friendly and warm people; just an all around pleasure to work with. Louise had previously set the record price for a terraced house on our street last year when she sold our neighbour's house— and now she’s broken her own record!

As a landlord using this company they do nothing to look after their landlords and only take interest in lining their pockets. They ignore any correspondence regarding anything that will effect their fees yet still continue to deduct the monies to them from the rent they collect, despite it not being due or earned to them. if you are a landlord AVOID Dear Chancellors - thank you for your suggestion of e mailing the Directors. The sad thing is that I did that before leaving the review to the very e mail address you have provided. Guess what - no reply. Its a shame you are so quick to give the impression you care on your google reviews rather than reply to your customers and resolve the issue.
